Engineer personable and efficient but 25 mins late. I did receive a txt with eta but no apology for being late to an 11am appointment. I also had to travel to my mums house.
Also advert said same day certificate but I had to chase after 2 days.

Whilst we are pleased to hear that you have now received your certificate, I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have an initial survey followed by a further visit several days later.
We are slightly unsure what is meant by the survey being “failed”, as the EPC was completed and received an EPC rating of D, which is considered an average rating across the UK. However, we completely appreciate that the communication around the process may not have been clear enough, and we are very sorry for any confusion or inconvenience caused.

Really great service. Within a couple of hours of paying for the service I had been informed of the name of the individual who would be coming. The next day they made contact and booked an appointment with me. On the day, the assessment took approximately 15 mins and the EPC certificate was updated on the government website that same night.

He rated it a D because he couldn't work out how old the windows were and they had only been replaced a couple of years ago and they still look new, I would expect these people to know what they are looking at.....

We would like to clarify that the field worker does not personally decide the EPC rating. The rating is calculated using government-approved methodology and software, based on the information recorded during the assessment. The assessor’s role is to collect the relevant details and evidence from the property, which is then assessed in line with the requirements set by the accreditation scheme and governing body.
If you have any concerns regarding the information recorded, the age of the windows, or how the rating was reached, please email us at info@propcert.co.uk with your order details. We can then review this further, liaise with the field worker who completed the assessment, and ensure any queries are explained or addressed where appropriate.
