I bought a 2021 Nissan Kicks from the enterprise car sales in San Leandro California. July makes 1 year that I purchased my yesterday. Two days ago my car died in the middle of the street! Come to find out from the mechanic the transmission went out on the car along with along with many other lights. If this car was inspected by Enterprise how could this happen? They pushed hard for me to get an extended warranty with Assurant! They literally took all day to decide if they would fix my car! Finally approved fixing it, said they would give me a rental a rental car for 4 days. When I got to enterprise assurant was only covering me for two days! 😡 I pay them every month and now that I need assistance they put a loop whole in the contract so they don’t have to cover paying my car until it’s finished! I will buy another car from enterprise and be Careful with the extended warranty! It has a bunch of loop wholes. Don’t trust enterprise cars! When I called enterprise they wanted nothing to do with it! They got the money from the sale and they move on!! Beyond disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Enterprise Car Sales, and I have to say, the experience was outstanding from start to finish!
After my Mercedes Benz experienced a transmission failure, I found myself needing a rental car. I rented from Quinn Hansen at the Dunwoody location, but due to delays in my car repairs, the rental turned into a longer-term arrangement. During this time, I was fortunate to work with Garrett Reynolds and Sales Manager Shakira Gibson at the Enterprise Car Sales Roswell, GA location. Their professionalism, kindness, and support were exceptional, and they went above and beyond to help me find the perfect new vehicle. I truly can’t express enough how helpful they were during a stressful time.
I also want to give a special shoutout to Patrick Thorsten, the Area Car Sales Manager. Patrick's leadership is evident, and it's clear that he sets a high standard for the entire team. Garrett, Shakira, and Patrick made my entire experience seamless and stress-free. Their teamwork and dedication speak volumes about the Enterprise family culture.
Thanks to their support, I’m now driving away in a new car, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I’m proud to be part of the Enterprise family and highly recommend Enterprise Car Sales to anyone looking for great customer service and a smooth car-buying experience.
Thank you again, Enterprise Car Sales, and a special thanks to Garrett, Shakira, and Patrick!

Worst Car Buying Experience of My Life
I used to be an employee of Enterprise. I was fed lies about how great and well taken care of the cars are at Car Sales. I had the worst experience I have ever had buying a used car. This entire experience was an absolute nightmare and the attitude that I encountered from the employees at Car Sales in Albuquerque, NM was incredibly inappropriate. If they would have shown some sympathy for my situation it would have helped, they made me feel like an inconvenience. The only person who was truly helpful was Arturo. Otherwise, the area manager Sam Leibenhaut, employees like Dashnie, and even the main honcho Mike Peters, had very bad attitudes.
Around April 10th, I bought a 2022 Nissan Sentra. Shortly after I bought the car, I noticed it would shake at various speeds. Therefore, Car Sales had me take it to Pep Boys. According to Sam, Pep Boys told him that they recommended the wheels be replaced because they have flat spots that may continue to make the car shake, but the balance should have taken care of 90% of it. Sam said he could not replace the tires because the tread was still new. Shortly thereafter, I noticed that when I turned right or left the front of the car made a sound. Car Sales also heard the sound, so I took it to another Pep Boys. The CV axle was broken and the struts needed to be replaced. The car that I had less than 2 weeks sat at Pep Boys for a week because they had to order the CV axle. I never heard anything from Enterprise. When I arrived at Pep Boys, I was told they only changed the struts because it was still under warranty with Nissan. Nobody communicated this with me so my car sat there for a week.
Then I took the car to Nissan. Sam had an attitude. When I told him that I appreciated Arturo and his apologies, Sam got defensive and let me know he had already apologized 4 times. After complaining about Sam, I started working with the general manager of Car Sales—Mike Peters. After having the car at Nissan for a week waiting for the axle to arrive, they said the control arm and boots were also broken. Nissan said it looked like the bolts had been banged on.
My car was at Nissan for almost 3 weeks. I had the car a month and I only got to drive it for one week. When the car was ready, Nissan said I had to pay a $100 deductible, or I would not get my car back. I had to reach out to Enterprise again. When I spoke to Dashnie on the phone, I did not yell at her, but I did raise my voice a bit, which resulted in her hanging up on me. When I did eventually speak with Mike, he wanted ME to pay for the deductible and be reimbursed by Enterprise—to which I said no.
When I spoke to Nissan, I asked them what they thought happened, They told me that Mike had been giving them attitude and telling them that this should be under their warranty, however, it was obvious that this was not a manufacturer error—someone else had done this to the car. They assumed someone had hit a curb or something with it and then got it shoddily repaired.
The car still vibrates when I drive it. I am hoping it is just the tires because Nissan pretty much replaced the whole front. However, I am too scared to reach out to Enterprise because of their attitude and Sam had said he cannot justify buying new tires since the tread is fine.
The hassle I went through with Enterprise was NOT worth it. I went to them because I thought I could trust them and believed I would get a reliable car. I was sorely mistaken. Not only was this car seriously damaged on THEIR watch, it was not inspected before it was sold, and their customer service was severely lacking. I know Enterprise’s values—they claim that their brand is the most important thing that they own, and they always claim how important the customer is to them. I was going to refer people to Car Sales, even my husband was going to buy his next car from them, but after what happened I will definitely go out of my way to tell people NOT to buy used cars from Enterprise Car Sales, especially in Albuquerque, because it is quite apparent they cannot be trusted.
Bad paint job!!!
Well my partner went to enterprise in Gastonia and we had purchased a Nissan Altima and it would not start the next morning and got another one and the electric sets didn’t work and then we got a 2023 Hyundai ELANTRA and when we looked at it on April 28th and drove it we wanted it and it was very hot and the sun so bright and the car being a bright Red we didn’t see the small places all over the car all the way to the metal ,so we took it in and they said they touched it up wow and had it ready in 20 minutes and it was pouring rain that day and you know that a car just being touched up or painted can’t get wet and there are to many spots on the car that we never noticed and we can’t get it detailed because they refused because of the paint and because they are so many small places front back sides doors hood yes they are small but to the metal and like Maaco said it will start to peel in the hot sun that the entire car needs to be painted and the car salesman was notified about the paint and the carpet on the 2nd of may and stated we bought a used car yea but not with a terrible paint job and the money we are paying for it is a lot of money at first he was extremely nice and now it’s you bought a used car I have seen older cars that have better paint jobs on them everytime I want to talk to the manager he just stepped out or he is with a client or something I can never talk to him we are just asking them to do something about the paint job we are paying enough for it to where the paint job on a 2023 should be immaculate on a car of that year and I have never seen a paint job like that and Hyundai dealer ship said it needed to be painted not touched up and I notified them before the 7 days because I have proof of my phone calls to Andrew all they did was fix the carpet I am going there on Tuesday and I’m praying that they fix it or have one just like it with a good paint job we are so hurt and my partner is a veteran and I’m a lung cancer patient and we just wanted a dependable nice car but this paint is embarrassing and I want it fixed the manager is a good man and I believe he will do something but only the manager. So I hope you see this and do something about it sir, I’m am asking for help and I called on the 2nd and I didn’t tell you because I figured Andrew had told you about this big problem now it runs fine but brakes squeak and the paint job is so heartbreaking please fix this .

No right vehicle and unsafe
The luton i ordered wasn't their when I turned up, an alternative was given but was smaller, I was moving home so was unable to get all my items and as I was moving about 350 miles, multiple trips were out, also I had to take a van from one depot to another to get a different one. On collecting that the person was only worried about the van I really arrived in and all I did was drive from Dunfermline to livingstone, but she went through the inside as if I had used it fully.
Also the van i picked up she didn't go through a thorough check it was a quick rushed check. I asked about two tyres asking if they had been check as they looked a bit low compared to the other two. She did it had all been checked.
Everything seemed OK till I started loading the van and especially the rear tyre started to bulge, so I went to the garage, when I put the tyre pressure gauge on to inflate, the front was 34 and should have been 59, the rear was 19 and should have been 73. It showed that no check had been done and the van was hired in an unsafe condition.
I have not been impressed by the livingstone branch and someone should do something about their staff and checks.
I won't be using our recommending enterprise again.
Enterprise Screwed Us Out of Clean Vehicle Tax Credit
First, they sold us a car that wasn’t even in their inventory. It was being transferred to another location. They tried to offer a substitution for the same cost with significantly higher mileage. Uh, no. After some finagling, they were able to get the car we wanted moved back into their inventory so we could buy it. We thought that was as irresponsible as it would get.
However, fast-forward to March 2025. We file our taxes. The car qualifies for a $4k clean vehicle tax credit. Except the next day we get a call from our tax preparer that our return was flagged because the dealer failed to submit the required documentation, the Time of Sale Report, to the IRS.
We reach out the dealer and are told they will look into it. We speak with the Customer Experience Manager, Diego Garcia. He says he will check with Corporate. I call a couple of times the next week, and the request to corporate is still pending. I call and speak with Area Car Sales Manager, Joshua Johnson, since Mr. Garcia is out of the office.
Mr. Johnson says that he had a similar situation with another customer, and there’s nothing they can do. We’re not satisfied with that. First of all, “another guy in a similar situation” is NOT a professional response from corporate. There was no evidence that any research was ever completed. I mean, this is FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. We aren’t going to just roll over and forfeit that.
My husband goes to speak with them in person. Mr. Johnson says that the law was new when we bought our car, and they weren’t sure what the process was yet. Um, the law was effective January 1, 2024, and we bought the car on May 21, 2024. Really? You think a 5-month lapse isn’t long enough to read 4 paragraphs on the IRS website? And even if it isn’t, it was YOUR responsibility to learn. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
Mr. Johnson keeps referencing what he told us about the other guy in this situation. Like that’s supposed to appease us? No. That just makes us more resolved that they have cheated us AND another customer out of a lot of money. Mr. Johnson asks my husband incredulously, “Do you expect us to file that report on every car we sell??” Husband says, “No, just on the cars that qualify for the tax credit.”
They didn’t even TRY to submit the report retroactively even though the IRS suspended the 3-day submission window. They had a perfect, SIMPLE solution before them, and they refused to take it.
My husband walks out of the store with the understanding that Enterprise’s official stance is, “Oopsie”.
Mr. Johnson has set himself up as the top line of defense in this situation. Nope. Enterprise is a big company. So we have reached out to the IRS, the FTC, the BBB, the AG of Oklahoma, Joshua’s supervisor (cc’ing the CEO of Enterprise corporate), and OUR ATTORNEY. Not to mention taking to the internet to make sure other potential buyers know about their negligence.
Enterprise has put us at risk of losing a large sum of money, and they need to make us whole.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a car i have had problems since I bought the sent the car in to get fix but they gave an excuse I haven't had the truck a year and it stopped on me 5 times had to get a new battery stain purple stain comes through floor and wet engine lights comes on and off often can use remote key because of it.only thing Adam the manager could say is your warranty for only a certain amount miles. Enterprise don’t care about your safety once contract is signed …
They could care less about your well being once you but the car. I’m 67 yrs old never have driven a small car in my life. I did not receive a handbook. I was told enterprise cant give me one.
I could print up a handbook myself. I called main office in Missouri. I was told enterprise is not responsible if I don’t know how to operate the car it’s not their problem.
FANTASTIC
FANTASTIC - GASTONIA, NC STAFF. Ro and Fred were GREAT getting a car for me from TX to NC. I rented an Enterprise car in our town for 5-6 days until they delivered it to me 165 miles from them. Fred arrived with all the paperwork ready to be signed. After signing he asked which store I had the rental - he then took it back to them for me. Probably another hour away from his family. Ro, Manager called several times to let me know where/when the car would be delivered and then asked how did I like it. 3 days after delivery I called them with a question - Fred said to drive it a little -then call him. I did and about an hour later he text that the car was being picked up and they are bringing a car to use. Purchasing numerous used cars from REGULAR dealers I NEVER had such SERVICE or FOLLOW up by Managers or salesmen. REAL CLASS HERE in my opinion.
Great Costumer Service
My experience in buying vehicle with Enterprise Car Sales was fantastic, I would like to thank you Mr. Gary Lyn for assisting me, he was very accommodating, helpful, and go above and beyond. Not only Mr. Gary Lyn is very helpful, so is Mr. Terrence Hall. From the day I started inquiring he was very positive about getting me a car. They are my life saver. I recommend Enterprise Car Sales to anyone, because they are friendly, and understand the needs of their customers. I have been going to all car dealership, nothing can beat the customer service of Enterprise Car Sales, from their manager Terrence Hall and all the staffs. They are very welcoming as soon as you walk in.
Definitely recommend Urbandale, Iowa location
We just made our 2nd purchase from the Urbandale location in Iowa from Anthony. He was great to work with. Had everything ready when we arrived both times. We were in and out. We will definitely be back.
Deceitful
Attempted to make a purchase. Was told that two other people had appointments to look at the car before me, but I would be next in line. I guess I made a mistake in disclosing that I would be paying cash. I got a call that I was next in line and an appointment was made. About an hour before my appointment, the salesperson sent me a text to tell me that someone was "probably" going to be buying the car. When I questioned how this could be, the salesperson starting telling me that they don't go by who is next in line. I assume the salesperson was interested in getting the commission off the financing for the other buyer. I will NOT have anything further to do with Enterprise and advise others against doing business with them.
Buyer Beware!
My wife really felt the sales person at the North Charleston SC dealer was open, honest and totally above board. She was, but what she did not know or disclose was that the BMW 330i we eventually purchased was outfitted with the wrong tires. There is no spare tire with the BMW and the car is orginally produced they come with Run-Flat tires. We were going to take an extended trip and decided to have the BMW inspected by Hilton Head BMW. The only major issue was the tires were not Run-Flat! In contacting the dealer their response was they equip vehicles with flat tire inflators...but we did not have one. We wanted Run-Flat tires installed on our vehicle, but Enterprise said, NO WAY!
Finance nightmare
My car was rear ended and I needed a replacement. I had struck interest in purchasing a replacement car from Enterprise, Seattle, WA. The sales went pretty smoothly, however after that it was stressful. I had stated from the beginning I was waiting for a check from the insurance company to pay the deposit, I was assured that they would put a 10 day hold on my check and not deposit it until I let them know I had the funds in my account. They deposited my check in two days after the sale without my knowledge or my call saying that I had received the insurance check, debiting my bank account 2,000.00. My bank fortunately rejected the check the next day because I didn't have the funds yet, I reached out to my sales person she said sorry and she told the finance department not to cash the check. I was livid my bank resolved it and Enterprise did nothing except resubmit the next day again without me saying I had the funds yet which I didn't (this was day 5) so I was super stressed I had an empty bank account. My bank rejected it again and when I got the funds a couple days later finally with the insurance check I contacted them and they very coldly and somewhat dismissed verbiage said I had to now write another check or use a link with my debit card. I did that and finally it was resolved, however that being said I felt like they didn't have any remorse or responsibility for what they had done, I got an email from finance that they got my funds but when I asked about why they did what they did I got no response. I will not purchase from them again, I work in consumer relations and would never be this dismissive for my actions, mistakes happen but now I have fees I had to pay because of what they did.
I am so grateful
I had been without a car for two months, and my job requires that I have transportation. So, I set out to buy a vehicle before we went back to work in the new year. I rented some cars from Enterprise to run errands during the holiday. One of the associates asked me if I was using my rental for travel. I told them that I was looking for a vehicle. They told me that Enterprise sold cars. Who knew?
I talked to a sales representative in Hyattsville (Enterprise had an old address for me). He was accommodating and pleasant and referred me to Qaseem Owens in the Enterprise Sales lot in Pelham, AL. I scheduled a meeting with him the day after Christmas.
Mr. Owens explained everything in detail about how Enterprise Sales works. Then he asked me a question that no car dealership had asked me. "What kind of car do you want?" He didn't look at a credit report, first. He didn't lead me to get the most expensive vehicle. I told him everything I wanted, from monthly payment to the type of car, mileage, and color. He was able to provide me with everything that I asked for. And he was nice. I was very fearful because I had not financed a car in 11 years. The car dealerships I had visited made me feel very uncomfortable and unheard. This was a great experience. I am very appreciative.

We purchased our car from ENTERPRISE EL PASO and were promised a second/replacement key. ZERO response from them. We have made numerous attempts to have them fulfill and Honor their commitment to us, but keep getting the "runaround" or no response at all. Total disappointment with this company. They have absolutely no regard for service after the sale!
Salesman
Salesman, Paul, was great. He was very informative and helpful. I bought the car with issues the manager, Malcolm knew about. It had a bad tire and bad key hub plus a quarter of a tank of gas. I was informed they would take care of it and I made an early appointment to go on because I had scheduled a mechanic for the following afternoon since I was driving out of town in two days for Thanksgiving. I was within the seven days trial period. I brought the car in. They gave me a rental and informed me the car would not be ready for two days! Just to fix a flat and replace key. I had to cancel the mechanic and put of town trip. I received the car two days later with no change in the condition. The metal key had been removed from one hub to the other and still did not work. They put air in the tire and white handprints on the passenger door. That took two days. I have an extended warrantee. Noone has called or apologized. I'm glad this happened to me before my sister bought a car there.
This may not happen at all locations because most have good reviews. I believe this is a management problem that head quarters needs to address. This location is in Houston off of I45 north. I still have a key that doesn't work, I took my car to discount tire to fix the flat. I missed my trip. I don't trust that location so I will be going to the mazda dealership.
More luck getting on the starship Enterprise
Enterprise, Andover.
Booked a car weeks in advance to allow my vehicle to be repaired, the morning of collection I receive a call 1 hour before collecting that they do not have a car until later in the day. This then caused a knock on affect to all previously planned appointments that day to little concern to the member of staff.
On arrival the car provided was unfortunately not suitable for my families requirements, no other car was offered.
Unprofessional staff member was more interested in her own mobile phone same staff member as previously mentioned.
Left enterprise and had to collect own vehicle from repair garage to then rebook at a later date.
First time experience
This was my first time buying a car from anywhere other than a dealership, and so far it’s been a very disappointing experience. I have only had the 2019 vehicle for 2 months( purchased May 26, 2023), and already have had a dead battery, which I was eventually reimbursed for, but now there’s an electrical malfunction that is most likely not covered under the limited warranty. The dealership has been unable to get thru to a Assurant to even verify if the parts are covered. I spoke with “ Manager” Amir today and asked about adding an extended warranty because I was told I could add it later by the salesperson. Now I’m being told I had to add it within 30 days. When I explained to Amir the issues I’ve had with the car his response was simply that’s why I should have gotten the extended warranty at the time of purchase. I understand that the car is not a new car, but I would have at least expected a little empathy, which when you’re in business goes a long way.
