It was easy to get the protection I wanted. I've never had a problem ever since I've used ESET. The only difficulty is that it's cumbersome to just do one manual renewal period rather than the default autorenewal, (which was not what I wanted).

The Password MAnager
First, I want to say I've owned ESET for many years. It is one of the best security systems for end users. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable accessing the internet without it.
That said, ESET recently sent an email announcing it would phase out its password manager. You have no idea how depressing that is. ESET's password manager is the greatest.
You can store notes, passport details, driver's license information, and much more. How can I enjoy the safety ESET provides without its world-renowned password manager, and what, if anything, will take its place?
What's more depressing is the need to transfer the password manager's data to another password manager. Given the heads-up on the phaseout of the ESET password manager, the password data will be held in limbo until a just as secure and proper Password Manager can be found - I don't like it!!

Currently, ESET does not offer a replacement feature for the password store. We are phasing out ESET Password Manager because there are free solutions available on the market, and we want to focus on features that will provide greater value to users.

The fact that my information is already on my account, it was very easy to renew. It would have been better if you had sent the renewal email earlier, like a week or so. Another company approached me the prior week and I also bought their basic plan because I didn't remember that I already had eset. Just a suggestion as some of us are not super computer smart and need a heads up sooner.

When every Tech company is constantly chiselling more and more ways to exploit us users. ESET begins to emerge as one company that tries to prioritize the welfare of it's customers over every other goal. They are one of the companies that is not trying to sneak in the backdoor and spy on us.
