I brought my car in for a brake hose replacement as part of a recall. This was completed. On getting the car back my brakes proceeded to be faulty and having to consistently add brake fluid.
When the car went back in it was identified it needed a new seal. How this was missed and I was returned a car with faulty brakes is beyond me. Dangerous and irresponsible by Ford. Dissappinted !!!

Today I had to take my recently purchased Ford Kuga back to Merthyr Ford with a 10 inch scratch on the rear wheel arch which i had not noticed when I purchased it last week. There was no quibble about rectifying it. The customer service and expertise by Anthony was fantastic. Great job.

Lies after lies
Bought a car for 20k and three year extended warranty from the Merthyr tydfil branch. There’s a chip in the windscreen. On purchase we were told within 3 months we can contact the company with any issues. Within days we called the branch informing them there’s a crack and there is paperwork in the car stating the crack prior to purchase. 8 weeks of emails and calls later no solution. Each time we had to contact them for an update. Today we were told nothing they can do! Lies after lies by the sales person who said he will arrange to get it fixed. We have all emails as proof. Can you imagine if a bigger issue arises with the car, they will be dismissive with that too. Please spend your money elsewhere, they are not to be trusted even with the smallest of issue.

Booking easy and all answers to my inquiry answered.

BUYERS BEWARE .. I drove 85 miles to view a BMW X1 which I had paid a deposit of £99 to reserve. When I arrived the "salesman" open the car from the office, he couldn't even be bothered to show us round the car. The car had 11 faults/damage and had obviously not been prepped in spite of the fact they had been in possession for several months. they also lied about having new brakes fitted all-round. There was a price increase of £395 since I had reserved it and when questioned about this he said "car prices go up and down daily" !! He knew nothing about the car and didn't seem interested in selling it, not the attitude you would expect from someone who supposedly sells cars. I went there because of the 4.5* rating but received less than 1* treatment. In Spite of several requests, after 4 weeks I have NOT received my deposit back

I just bought a used car from Evans Halshaw at Merthyr Tydfil and I must say that the service and attitude from Sales Representative Tom Evans was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him especially with all my questions and the whole experience was smooth and seamless. He was kind enough to guide me through the entire buying process without any pressure, making sure I was fully informed and comfortable with my decisions. Tom ensured my car was in top condition before I went back to collect the car and again Tom was there to meet me, he completed the paperwork and then took me to the car and explained the controls, as this was the first time I had bought an automatic. So I am more than happy to recommend Sales Rep, Tom and Evans Halshaw, Merthyr Tydfil for an excellent 5 Star service experience.

Was seen by Tom Evans in Merthyr, very professional, made me feel at ease, was able to answer all my questions and made my experience of buying my first car in store very easy. Cannot thank Tom enough for all his help, visited on the Sunday and my car was ready on the Tuesday.

Customer service at Merthyr Tydfil is shocking, never answer the phone to you. You can book an appointment online to suit, however they will re-arrange it the next day to suit them, leaving you no choice but to go down and arrange the appointment in person as the receptionist constantly mutes the phone calls.

No international communication either because the driver turns up a week early to collect my car to be repaired, the appointment that was rearranged in person two days prior.

More great service from James , Tyrone and all staff at Evans Halshaw Merthyr took the car I purchased a few weeks ago in as engine management light was on when I got there informed them that a tyre was slowly losing pressure on inspection they found 2 screws inbedded in the tyre which they promptly replaced with a brand new one . Highly recommend this dealership nothing has ever been to much trouble for them in all my dealings with them 👏👏

I have just received my car back from Evans Halshaw in Merthyr Tydfil , they did an excellent repair after a tree fell on it and damaged quite a lot of my poor car.
The service was excellent, communication excellent, work carried out excellent and overall customer service spot on.
They helped make a bad situation easier to deal with.

Yet again Pendragon/ Evans Halshaw Merthyr insults me by offering a part exchange deal given the fact that I would never buy with them again after my last experience- what a shocking company- please think carefully before purchasing a car with this outfit

Sales person Adam John sold me a service contract, he was very helpful, it was a great deal.

The salesman james davies at merthyr tydfil branch couldnt of asked for better he was more than helpful and very polite he done all that he could for us but just hoping that the finance gets completed in time through finance department .

Just bought Ford eco sport from here. James our salesman was excellent. He was very helpful and even sent us a video of work done on the car. Will most definitely deal with him again

please don’t buy a vehicle from them. I bought one in 2021. My car was clamped for no tax cost me a small fortune and when I finally got to the bottom of it Evans Halshaw hadn’t even transferred the car to my name so no Tax reminder arrived. The log book is finally in my name but they won’t acknowledge the mistake or the cost to me and the stress of having a car clamped due to staff not doing the very basics of their job.I’m not even certain my insurance was valid due to this negligence during the sale. This was Merthyr Tydfil branch.
