We noticed an issue the day we picked the car up and was assured someone would be in touch to get sorted. Weeks later after contacting the garage again we were told they would get back to me.
Waited weeks again so escalated the matter to the sales manager and he promised it would get sorted but still nothing.
Escalated to the general manager of the dealership and got one reply from him then nothing.
Once they have the sale they do not care about the customer. Today I received a generic email from Evans Halshaw asking how the new car is going and we are here to help if needed. What a joke this dealership in Middlesbrough are the worst I have ever dealt with and would never recommend anyone buy a car from these as they simply can’t be bothered with you if something gos wrong. Abysmal customer service. Stay well clear.

Utter Shambles
Bought used car 22/08/2026 - was asked to pay upfront £5k before I had even seen it or got to the dealership.
I drove home, turbo failed 2 hours after. Was told it cannot be repaired until September 23 at an other location. Told not entitled to refund either (false)
Complaint raised.

Over 40 years of excellent service
I have dealt with this company for over 40 years and have never had any problems. I have always bought my new cars from them and had them serviced and MOT done. The staff are great and go over and above to help. Would not go elsewhere.
