I use it everyday to organize my thoughts, track to-dos, and to record personal knowledge. I don't ever want to lose it! It is so useful to be able to search all of my notes and figure out if I've already solved a problem before.
I’ve been using Evernote for over a…
I’ve been using Evernote for over a decade, and I’ve always loved it. It’s clear that Evernote has been making great efforts to keep up with the AI era through continuous updates and improvements, and I truly appreciate that.
There are far too many updates
There are far too many updates. While security updates are necessary, I wish you wouldn't push frequent updates just to add new features. I use this software for work. Having new features introduce bugs that require repeated follow-up updates just gets in the way of my work. It is absolutely disastrous when a bug renders the software unusable. I understand the desire to roll out the latest features quickly, but please reconsider your release strategy. You should make early releases available for those who want to test new features, while providing a stable version—one that has undergone bug fixes, proven stable over time, and passed code reviews—for those who simply need reliability.
A simple solution would be to offer a choice—similar to Windows Update—regarding whether or not to receive early release versions.
Let me say this again: I only need a stable version. Stop using ordinary users for debugging.
Evernote is consistently good
Evernote is consistently good - it does everything that I need it to do as a comprehensive note application - and it works across all the platforms I use.
Standing the test of time
I have been an Evernote user for over a decade. It is my "go to" repository for work and home. It helps me organise my tax return, holidays and keeps special emails from friends.
The search function enables me to find information easily.
Highly recommended.
Evernote is a kind of second memory…
Evernote is a kind of second memory that I always have there, one that does not forget. I have been using it for years, and I still find it very useful because it lets me save almost anything: notes, stray ideas, documents, links, lists, images, and reminders. The best part is that I can access that information from any device, without depending on a single computer or having to search for lost files.
I also value its versatility. It helps me organize my work, postgraduate classes, projects, readings, manuals for my accessories, or simply those ideas that appear at the least expected moment. It is not a perfect app —none of them are— but it does its job very well: helping you keep your information organized, available, and under control.

I keep asking for a very simple feature. Let me highlight a list and be able to sort it. Standard or reverse order. Simple. Been waiting for years.

I am all about learning how to not use so much paper. Being able to have Evernote and not a bunch of 3-ring binders is something I am learning to embrace.

Evernote is an ideal partner for graduate students. It has greatly helped me organize scientific research, take notes, and gather ideas in a unified, seamless workspace. This ensures easy access and accurate retrieval of information, even after an entire year. It is a highly flexible and practical system
a pocket full of lead when all I need is a toothpick
too many updates, too many features. The swiss army knife approach leaves me with a pocket full of lead when a toothpick would do the trick. Leave me alone. I'd pay for less but am now unwilling to pay for more. Back to free for me.
The program works fine but they have created a price structure that is pushing people out
The program works fine but they have made it where the new price structure is pushing out casual users. I started with the free version and went to the paid but whent he promo ended, moving to $25 per month is way too much. I know it is build for larger systems but the convenience of the product is nice but not worth $300+ a year.
My daily journaling app - perfect for my needs
I use Evernote as my daily journal and it does everything I want. I have tried a few others that have not worked out. I love that you can link to other notes. The search is pretty good. I am sure I am not using it to its full potential but for my use, it's perfect. And they are always making improvements and adding features.
Support doesn't respond to queries for YEARS
It was perfect app. But since v.10 began to work very slowly and started crashing at open. Now it's peace of paid sh**t on stage of preparing to become "yet one big apk" with plenty useless functions. Support doesn't respond to queries for YEARS.
well every time i try to use it it…
well every time i try to use it it needs an update or another popup, like today. i just wanted to clip something -> "you are using an outdated.... please update", -> "hey would you like to fill out a survey"
please stop! i pay for the app. let me use it or i will eventually cancel my 10+ subscription
Clumsy, slow and irritating,
I want a much quicker Evernote, one click and it opens, not wanting to wait minutes for opening. Then once i hit search, a whole page in list view of all search results. Like the old version before you bought the app fromn Evernote. The old one was quick, clean and clear and simple. THAT was a winner The new one is clumsy, complicated and slow.
I still have to struggle every day to achieve this simple routine. It feels clumsy and slow, irritating.
For the price Evernote has grown to…
For the price Evernote has grown to over the past few years, I am not seeing enough features at a pace that I would expect with more resources now available to the platform.
For instance, I would expect a feature I have asked for years ago to be implemented and/or considered, (being able to "lock" specific notes and/or notebooks from any additional changes.) I opened a feature request years ago and never got any response, just closure of the request.
I also expect more integrations and features delivered at a faster pace. When I originally started using Evernote, it integrated into numerous tools such as tablet pen platforms and other to improve its usability. Those integrations have diminished in lieu of even more pay-per-use services which price this platform out of its usefulness.
The last area is AI integration. While there are tools within Evernote for AI, the platform has been slow to release expected support for Evernote MCP allowing the open source community to beat support of this capability to market. This again would not be my expectation given the resources now invested in Evernote.
would rate 0 if I could
would rate 0 if I could, worst app I've ever used and if not for having years of data I would delete this.
