Martin and Estelle were very knowledgeable about EVs generally and we didn't feel pressured into buying one of their cars. They had a great choice of stock and the experience of test driving then buying an EV from EV Experts was smooth and reassuring.

Whilst researching a replacement EV for my existing EV, I came across EV Experts after going through various Main Dealer websites. I read through a lot of very positive reviews and thought I would contact EV Experts via their website.
My initial enquiry giving a brief outline into my existing EV and various models I was researching led to a prompt and extremely detailed overview of possible options I should further research, from the owner Martin. I replied and arranged a visit to their site in Guildford with a view to shortlist some EV’s and determine the feasibility for a future purchase.
On arrival Martin and Estelle were friendly, welcoming and clearly very well informed. Martin guided me through a range of vehicles that could fit my remit along with the benefits and disadvantages of each vehicle. We reduced the options to two EV’s and Martin invited me to test drive them both. The test drive route was extensive and gave a variety of environments and road types to test the vehicles fully, whilst Martin explained/covered all the ‘bells and whistles’ of each of the vehicles.
On return we discussed openly the part-exchange option on my current EV and the availability and timeframe on the models I had tested as well as other stock in preparation. Martin was not ‘pushy’ in anyway, his approach was guided and supportive in helping me select the right vehicle for me in the short, medium and long term.
After some deliberation and viewing other vehicles elsewhere to benchmark EV Experts, I contacted Martin again to discuss purchase options on my chosen vehicle. Again, Martin was open and informative during our emails and telephone conversations, and a deal was made, completed and the vehicle prepared and collected within 48hours.
Martin & Estelle were very accommodating for the collection and exchange of my vehicle, staying after hours so I did not have to take time off from work. Estelle had all the admin prepared and Martin and his team undertook a final assessment on my vehicle (battery health check etc), whilst Estelle and I completed the paperwork and transfer of monies. Thereafter Martin again took time to run through my new vehicle set-up to ensure I drove away without any questions, concerns or issues.
I cannot recommend EV Experts enough; it’s so refreshing to find a Car Dealer that takes pride in providing and preparing excellent quality vehicles and even more importantly excellent customer service.

Absolutely fantastic! We can’t rate EVExperts highly enough. My wife was very worried about whether she’d be able to drive an EV, whether it was safe etc etc etc. Estelle & Martin spent 4 hours listening to our needs, answering all of our questions (sometimes many times), reassuring us, providing insights and stories- all without any pressure to buy anything whatsoever. When they finally suggested some cars, their first suggestion was spot on (a fantastic VW ID3). We tried a very wide range of vehicles whilst we were there (they’re completely independent and only stock cars that they fully believe in and have a spotless service history), but kept coming back to their first choice. They were right first time. They then took us for an EV lesson to test drive it and it was superb. We decided to buy one and they spent weeks searching for the (very rare) colour and specs that we wanted - with success. Their support was superb throughout. They spent ages helping us to understand our finance options too and were very happy for us to go for the best option for us (no finance deal, so probably not so good for them). They even bought our exhausted, old ICE car from us, reducing the price we paid and removing all work in disposing of it from our hands. Then, when Hugo delivered our amazing EV - and we are far from local to them! - he spent ages helping us to get to know it. Their service and support has been absolutely fantastic. They even helped us to extend the warranty for far less than the warranty company offered (including the company’s offered 40% off discount). They have not once asked us to review them - even though they know we are delighted - so I am writing this only because I have finally found some time to do so. Martin, Estelle and the whole team have done an outstanding job - giving us time and support when we needed it and being swift thorough and efficient when that was possible too. They deserve to do superbly (& it doesn’t surprise us in the least that they have won some awards). We thoroughly recommend them. From our experience of switching to a fully electric vehicle, we also thoroughly recommend that too. (Our fuel bills have dropped from £30 petrol per week to £2.50 electricity (on our cheap Octopus Go tariff) and the charging point we are having installed this week will pay for itself in less than a year. It’s fantastic to drive - much easier than our old car - and so clean and quiet too..! Last night I heard a beautiful, peaceful piano piece on BBC Radio3, as I drove home. It was a dream listening to it, the drive was so peaceful..!) Martin and Estelle (& everyone at EVExperts) do a superb job and we highly recommend them..!
