The engineers at Evinox are second to none. They are the only company we would trust to install a highly sophisticated and efficient heating and Hotwater system into a Grade 1 historic building. The expertise and knowledge of the Evinox installation engineer is hugely impressive and reassuring. The service was excellent. We had our previous boiler serviced with them for 22 years and had absolutely no complaints. First class service. Quite honestly having had awful experiences with central heating engineers more
local to us, Evinox were the only company I trusted to design and install our new system. If you live in a larger property and require a complex or commercial sized boiler then Evinox are for the company you should choose.

Absolute shambles of a company. Moved into a new an apartment in March 2020 and there was a debt on the evinox account from the previous tenants. After 4 months of seeing our account in debt and finally realising what had happened, it took a full break down done by myself on 2 occasions and 6 months of emails going back and forward to get the bill corrected.
And in the following two bills we get a bill with no figures followed by one that is again incorrect and over charged.
Customer service is as useful as an iron with no steam. I wouldnt recommend Evinox to my worst enemy. Avoid avoid avoid

I implore you, do not create a direct debit. Meter readings are frequently incorrect and badly estimated. They've had an online portal for years with a meter submission form but it's not actually hooked up to anything and doesn't work but it will happily let you submit one anyway.
I've received bills in the post for completely different accounts (yes that includes leaking PII), been charged for late bills during a query that later had to be removed, and once I even received a bill upwards of £1000. Fun times.
Do not, under any circumstances create a direct debit for your own security, pay for the bills that have your readings only and keep a timestamped photo album for your records.
If I could pick literally, any other energy supplier I would but unfortunately the building is locked into an agreement with them.
I feel awful for the people having to work customer services, they certainly have their work cut out for them.
They have one job, and they can't make it. I live in one of the buildings they serve (Canterbury House) and the hot water is a option, it regularly breaks down and the temperature goes from super hot to super cold to again super hot! Last week somebody came for maintenance and the situation slightly improved but I called and try to get them back to finally fix the issue and no, it's not their problem anymore.
Their service is also quite expensive compared to other providers and finally their invoices are quite random, they are not able to tell you what they charge for a specific period of time. Tell me evinox, how else could you do worse?
UPDATE 13.4.21:
Been there, done that. All your team is able to do over the phone is read the information from your website which we all know is inaccurate. My time is more important than your incompetence.
PS: the estate agent may be responsible for maintenance but you are the one providing the service (and being paid for it) so if they are not doing the job properly don't you think that's YOUR problem?

The company have no out of hours service they are Joke leaving vulnerable people without heating or hotwater.. my vulnerable elderly parents had put £30 credit. They had just moved into thier property which unfortunately can only be supplied by Evinox.. the credit seems to fly . They check in the afternoon they had over £27 credit however when they wanted to switch the heating on they had a warning out of credit . Infact when i checked online the company are trying to say the are in debt of over £3200 . This is ridiculous. How does a energy supplier not have an emergency out of hours service to fix thier wrong leaving vulnerable people without heating and hot water. What will happen during Christmas or weekends when they do not work.. this is one of the worst customer service I've seen in a very long time.. unfortunately my parents cannot change thier supplier apparently but if you are choosing this company out of your own free will.. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST . This company needs to review thier cost and be investigated..

89 yo relative, lives on their own, cannot physically move fue to stroke. Carers give in bed basin wash. A couple of plates and cups washed, basically hardly anything happens daily in the flat. Average £12 a week for heating/hot water!!! And still have to pay electricity bill on top. They know they are scamming people, I've spoken them too many times. Needs to go national to be investigated.

Dealing with Evinox Billing is soul destroying. The claim their bills are accurate are anything but. Although the billing team acknowledge they could not take remote readings for at least 9 months, rather than notify me, they just made up spurious numbers. I am still waiting for a credit worth upwards of £300
Concerning though is the complaints process on the website:
1. The complaints email address bounces back (does not work and I've told them this)
2. I have sent hard copy complaint to the office and emailed complaint through the billing team also
3. 28 days have passed and still no response
4. If not happy they refer you to use Office of Fair Trading OFT, (it no longer exists, google it!!)
5. They are not members of the Heat Trust
6. Your last resort is to get your local MP involved.
Stuck in a monopoly situation and until this sector is regulated residents will continue to be overcharged with poor customer service
A further update 24th Feb 2021 and my complaint and account have not been resolved after I have identified myself to Evinox. The complaint email address still does not work. I've just received another bill and it's still incorrect.

I cannot recommend Evinox Energy highly enough for their Geminox boiler repair service. Georgia was polite and professional and our engineer Lee was brilliant! so experienced, competent and courteous throughout the repair. It is so refreshing and reassuring to know that such trustworthy and competent tradesmen exist. Thank You!

If 0 stars were possible, that is what I would give them. All of their bills are "estimates" with the meter reading usually being at least 500 units over what the actual meter reading is. I've been over charged each billing period. When I called in about the discrepancy, the account manager decided yelling was an appropriate form of communication. Despite asking me questions, she just proceeded to talk over me. I've asked to speak to a manager and they've flat out refused. It takes months to get a bill actually resolved with them. This company has no ethics whatsoever. Check your meter every month. Keep records. They will overcharge you. Despite me providing meter readings and the actual amount I have paid for the year, they are still persisting in attempting to charge almost an additional £80 in unexplained costs. The account manager told me "it's actually a favourable estimate". Favourable if robbery is the goal, sure. How hard is it to just bill with the ACTUAL meter reading! SMH it really should not be this difficult.

You guys are stealing money of the residence without warning them about the charges. The company and a whole brand will make you pay separate for the hot water , and the heating (it's not included with the electricity)which is unbelievable residents are not supposed to pay multiple things, heating water, electricity. Their community charges are top high. It's like £100 and something a year. The boiler uses electricicity to heat the water what's the point ?? What's next Evinox do we pay to breath too ? I dont advise you guys to use this brand , they are tricky and manipulative.

We have recently moved into a house with a complicated Geminox boiler. We had Evinox service the boiler and decided to take up their service plan. Since then we have had a number of issues with the boiler and we've called Evinox. Each time the head office (Georgia) has been responsive and efficient and managed to get us an appointment quickly. The engineers who have attended have been knowledgeable and diligent, even when the problem has not been an obvious one. Even when it was getting late yesterday, Shaun and his colleague pushed through to find a solution to the specific problem and only left when our heating and hot water was back in full operation. Great professional service.

I have been trying to close my cold water account for over 3 months. I have emailed and called several times but they do nothing. They owe me money and it seems like they want me to give up so they can keep it. Closing the hot water account took me 2 months.
live in a rented flat over four years ago. Receive a bill today without any details.
I will give 5 starts because of the lady that was dealing with me.. her name was caroline hill. Before I called 3 other places to get my hot water on.. my last resort was to ring evinox. She called and senced me panicking. She managed to calm me down with her calm manor... and out of her own way explained my own situation so I had a better understanding. I am frustrated as my landlord hasn't signed the contract with them yet.. but this lady was so so nice and helpful it's worth the wait. Hopefully all assiosiates are like her.. calm and understanding and fixed my problem on her own!! No getting put through to someone else. I have a newborn baby and I was so stressed byt instantly she gave me a piece of mind and fast. Going above and beyond. We need more people like you caroline hill thank you. Credit to the company, please give this woman a promotion!

I wanted to give half a star but there is no provision to do so. It's been 1 year that I have moved into the new flat (Hub apartments) but till date I haven't received any bills from Evinox. Other residents from our apartments are facing the same problem. Initially , Evinox told all residents to take pictures of meter readings and send it to them as they it seems they had no automated system to do this. How ridiculous is that. And now they have stopped sending us bill.I am sure they will wake up one and send us a big bill. I am not sure how will we pay that bill. This is unacceptable.

Customer service is excellent. They always respond sufficiently, and asap to your needs as their customer is one of my favorite things about this company.
Since moving into a new development there have been numerous breakdowns of the central heating service for which Evinox do the billing.Despite being aware of the breakdowns, advised where there is no service, and the fact that flats are calling for hot water during periods there is no hot water, Evinox continue to issue bills for charges during these periods.
I have called and sent numerous emails about this to Evinox. Who assure me that a manager will call me back - apparently however this manager has been on leave, or unavailable for the two months since I was promised they would contact me after escalating it the last time (currently waiting for resolution from my email dated 28 December 2019). Each time I contact them again after no follow up, I have to re-explain the issue despite the whole conversation thread being in the email that I have simply forwarded to chase for follow up.
They always in the first instance try to pass the buck to the development and/or the management company.
I have also been sent bills on more than one occasion for other flats in the development, as well as one bill for £10,000 for what I assume is the whole development (I think this has happened twice now). All addressed to me, however with details of other accounts. I have serious concerns regarding this company's adherence to GDPR and will likely report them to the IPO for sending me details of other accounts.
I pay more to heat a small one bedroom flat that I rarely have the heating on in, than I used to spend on a large two bedroom poorly insulated flat that needed the heating on most of winter. As I sit here and write this the central boiler has been down for 8 hours and yet my system is calling 'hot' water to my flat....
I have written records/photos of all points raised above.
I would not recommend this company.

We have had a service agreement with Evinox for the last 15 years for a domestic installation they provided with the new build house. The system is complex and we are dependent upon them for maintenance, which regular companies cannot provide.
The service is efficient and friendly, though somewhat expensive when straying beyond the basic boiler annual maintenance contract, to peripheral items, and on occasions when major parts have to be imported there are annoying delays.
However they have some very skilled engineers and it has been reassuring to know that, despite being a captive user of their equipment, they have so far managed to solve any problems and restore heating and hot water. Back up immersion heaters and mobile heaters are an essential however, to cover any down time awaiting essential parts.
Have been a client of Evinox for 11 years with a rolling maintenance contract.
If you break your contract there is no way back in.
However it has been worth maintaining as the service has proved flawless.
Two drawbacks. No weekend service. The annual fee is on the higher side.
Their service is certainly worth having, very punctillious and professional. Their Engineers are first class & most helpful.
