never ever again with Expedia

I had the worst service from Expedia. I will never buy an other ticket from them. I had bought a ticket for my trip and 3 times it has been changed and they made me wait on the phone close to 2 hours each time I called.

their employees are extremely rude and unhelpful.

Everything worked out

I booked several times a hotel and recently also a flight through expedia. Excellent, everything worked out! No complaints at all for any of the bookings.

In the words of Diana Ross "I'm still waiting..............." FOR A REFUND

I am cutting a very long story short as I don't want to bore you. After a lengthy phone conversation on the 6th June 2014 I was told by a supervisor in the non-UK call centre that I would be entitled to a refund of £35. After many telephone conversations with call centre staff and having been cut off numerous times because they couldn't be bothered answering my questions, I still haven't received the refund. This week has been the icing on the cake. After having to explain myself yet again, as they couldn't understand their own on screen notes, I was promised that the said refund would be paid into my account by yesterday. Still no result, so having phoned yet again this morning, and being asked to call back in 20 minutes, I declined their offer and asked for someone to call me back. A return call was promised in half an hour, that was at 10.40am, and I am still waiting.

I have also sent two complaint e-mails, but they just request me to contact the call csntre........grrrhh!! I shall NEVER give Expedia my custom again.

Save your money ...other travel agencies will appericate your dollar a lot more than expedia

Talking about customer service one of the worst here is my experience so I called looking to speak to a supervisor so this lady first started here conversation by name Janet and when she knew that I was extremely upset she was ending the phone call as name Betsy I promise this is the absolute truth ..so after addressing my complaint to her about the inconvenience of the multiple vouchers that I booked through them her first respond was (you need to contact the third party sir we have nothing to do with this) so at this point I was extremely aggravated here are the items that I booked with expedia : 1- flight which was about right but that's normal airlines don't mess around 2-rental car and what you see for rates are no where close to reality oh and their $9 insurance isn't something to count on based on fox rental car claims plus I wanted a sports car and got a Chrysler 300 instead but I don't know who to blame on this one 3-1hr Yamaha wave runner on things to do and here on that one I had to take my rental car drive up 4.5 miles from where I was staying at then park my rental at a public garage for $40 then walk up to this place called jet ski water sports rentals and show my voucher ..the first thing the guy says to me (WE DON'T ACCEPT VOUCHERS FROM EXPEDIA BECAUSE THEY DON'T PAY US) once I heard that I took off immediately got back in my car and drove back to the hotel 4- miami party pass another scam ..once I arrive to the hotel I was suppose to call them to have my pass sent to the hotel guess what I booked 4 nights for this pass so called to get it and they are only opened from. Wednesday up until Sunday from 2pm til 9pm and I arrived Sunday around 5pm called them around 6:30 pm to let them know I like to claim my pass and no one was there to answer the phone specially that I followed all instructions to redeem my voucher by calling 48 hours after booking through expedia ! 5- hotel number 2 which I thought after going through all of this that expedia isn't going leave me dissatisfied well guess what I thought wrong ..so I wanted to cancel my 2nd hotel reservation only because of the hotel I was staying at offered me a really good rate and I knew that my cancelation was late prior to date to avoid any additional fees but come on after all of what I went thru you people don't think I deserve a break ..they and the proof I called to explain so this rude lady talks to me on the phone oh and she was a supervisor as well and I tried to tell her what I went through and her answer was (what does this has to do with not charging late cancelation fees ) right there I knew I wasn't getting any special treatment for what been through!! I know that my review isn't going to go too far but I figured I share my experience to help save other people from going wasting their money with expedia.

DONT EVER USE EXPEDIA

In a trip to Thailand this last NOVEMBER (so you have an idea of the time) we bought bought a flight ticket from Koh Samui to Bangkok with Bangkok Airways for three
On the 27th of MARCH 2014, date of the departure of the flight, when we tried to check-in at Koh Samui's airport, we were informed by Bangkok Airways' staff that in this reservation only the ticket for was available. The other two tickets were cancelled and reimbursed Bangkok Airways to Expedia.de. In any moment we received any communication of such cancellation, or even the refunded amount paid for the two missing tickets.
When we contacted Expedia.de's hotline on the departure date, we were told that our reservation was correct and that they would send again the confirmation to the airline. We waited until just before closing the check-in of the flight, but nothing arrived to them. We were obligated to buy a new ticket for the two passenger, in a total of THB 10,420.00.
After landing in Bangkok, we contacted once again Expedia.de hotline and we were instructed to send this e-mail to the customer service account with all the details and documentation.
I wrote expedia in MAY with all the documents they have asked. A few day latter, they answered by email that we should contact the hotline to solve the problem.
I contacted Expedia through the hotline more than 3 times during MAY and JUNE, following the instrunctions gave by the company to try to proceed with the case . For three times I was told the same thing, that this is not the responsibility of the hotline team, but of the Customer Service and that they would forward the case to their manager since there is nothing they could do to help me and someone would contact me in the next 2 weeks. I was never contacted by anyone from them.
On 30th of JUNE I wrote them again to ask for a position from them. They said that that it was escalated to their second level and someone would contact me. Again nothing.
On the 3rd of JULY I wrote again asking a position and saying that I was not contacted by their "second level". I said that it had been more than THREE MONTHS since the problem itself happened and almost 2 months from the formal email contact as requested by Expedia employee. We followed all of the instructions given by the company and still we were not able to solve the problem and most of all we are clearly being disrespected by this company in all senses, including the lack of communication and information given by you.
Once again, apologies and asked for patience (more?????)!!!!
Now FOUR MONTHS after the trip we still have not received anything, not even an explanation to what happened, I won´t even start with the money for the flight we paid twice!
Has anyone gone through such a situation? How can we solve it?
The only next step I see form now is going through the legal system!!!

We are reaching a very uncomfortable point with this issue, since we are running out of possibilities to communicate with Expedia team.

Expedia steals customers´ money

The have programming errors in its website and then charge customers for bookings which weren´t done or for which error messages arose. Then when you complain, they say that they can´t give you your money back because you should´ve cancel the (failed) booking before???. But I wonder:: how should one cancel a booking which failed?? So be aware! If you try to book something and got an error message similar to "Booking failed, ..." better check your emails hours later because it can happen that the booking did work! These programming errors should´ve been solved by expedia but are not and expedia does not take responsibly of these errors.

Furthermore, the customer service does not help at all. They just stole my money and don´t want to give it back.
