Highly recommended

I used Fairweather Law for my house sale which was completed today. Tom was first class in every way, responding to e-mails very quickly, even outside office hours, and keeping me informed of progress with the sale. Highly recommended

Fairweather Law: property transaction.

I engaged Fairweather Law to manage the sale of my existing property and the purchase of a new one. The transaction required both the sale and purchase to complete together because the proceeds from the sale were required to finance the purchase. The whole process from start to finish took from mid-October 2024 to the end of February 2025 (not unusual for property transactions). During that whole period the service received from Fairweather Law was exemplary. The person allocated to manage both the sale and purchase took personal ownership of everything associated with it. I was kept fully informed of progress, relevant documents were received in a timely manner, and questions and queries were answered quickly, efficiently and expertly. The completion was managed very well with both the sale and purchase completing together, as required, and the surplus proceeds of sale being received that same day. I was more than satisfied with the excellent and courteous service that I received.

No reservations in recommending 100%

I have recently used the services of Trent Hobden and his team at Fairweather Law for buying a property. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, responsive and empathetic during what can be a very stressful time. The whole process was seamless and completed in less than 8 weeks including the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

I have no reservations in recommending Trent and his team 100% for anything connecting to buying and/or selling your house.

Terrible service!!

Terrible service from the start! There was no communication from Trent whatsoever. I sent over documents months in advance and I was then being questioned as to their whereabouts weeks later, making the process take triple the time than it should have taken. I was constantly on the phone solving issues myself rather than the solicitor, but being charged for a phonecall. Issues all the way up until the day of completion which almost didn’t happen as well - got the keys with an hour to spare! Not much empathy and understanding afterward either when reaching out to inform them of the service we endured.

At every step of the way Trent and…

At every step of the way Trent and Karen were available to answer queries and to set my mind at ease. As we know moving house is a very stressful time and more so at Christmas. I wanted a house move in December for lots of reasons and they were able to help me achieve this. I am very grateful for their calm demeanours, attention to detail and professionalism.

Outstanding service from Trent!

Outstanding service from Trent!
Our purchase wasn’t smooth sailing, thanks to a fairly difficult mortgage lender. But Trent went above and beyond, and we completed on our house a week earlier than we anticipated (which we were very happy about!) thanks to Trent sorting everything between the housing association and the lender.
Overall, good communication, very fairly priced, everything completed in good time, and the conveyancing side of our purchase went very smoothly.

An Engaging Experience

Our conveyancing process was protracted and challenging due to external factors not associated with the abilities or dedication of Fairweather Law.

Throughout the process they acted in a professional manner and were always willing to take calls and answer my questions clearly and succinctly.

Fairweather Law.

The team at Fairweather Law made my experience of buying my new home simple and stress free. All paperwork was dealt with in a professional and timely manner and they did not ask me to do anything unnecessary. Fairweather were recommended to me by the building company and I can see why they are a trusted partner. I would highly recommend them too.

Superb

We had an excellent experience with Trent and the Fairweather team during our recent part exchange. Trent and Karen were highly professional and efficient throughout the process. Trent's patience and thorough explanations of the process, both over the phone and by email, were greatly appreciated. Even when we encountered a minor hiccup near the end, Trent resolved it promptly and efficiently. We would not hesitate to use Fairweather again in the future. Many thanks to Trent and the team for helping us move into our new home! :0)
