It's a really good company, I had an Issue and
They replaced it ASAP.
Can't ask for anything better than a company standing behind what they sell.

UPDATE: i just found an email from trustpilot saying they asked for more information so they can reply, but i don't see any notifications asking for any clarification. I'd love to get my review published and possibly a better response from Fast Growing Trees than the customer service rep in the chat, but I can no longer update this review based on their request, so I'm not sure what to do. I just want to prove that this was truly my experience and that i'm not just some angry customer venting in a review to ruin a good business.

Shipping and delivery were fine, but the 1 year guarantee is silly if you live in a climate with a short season. That warranty is eaten up by long winters. Bought a cherry tree and turns out the trunk is actually dead and it’s sprouting from the root stock and will never produce fruit. $75 wasted. They said because it’s out of the 1 year warranty period the best they can do is offer me 30% off another order. I won’t be buying from them again so that doesnt help me at all. Upstate ny winters are long. I bought the tree in Sept of 2024. It’s now may of 2026 and it only recently started any new growth and i didnt know anything was wrong until I started asking people. Confirmed the tree is useless and I am out $75. Wouldn't buy from them again for this reason alone. Save your money and buy from a local nursery instead

Have had a quick response to asking for a warranty to be honored for an apricot tree that did not survive first winter. No problems with replacing tree.

1st tree was delivered late and dried to a crisp, I had a professional landscaper plant it and hoped it would survive because it was such a nice shape and full of leaves. It didn’t. I ordered another one, the only option was the next size up because the size I ordered last time was sold out. This tree is pathetic. Almost no leaves, spindly trunk, even thinner than the smaller size. No root ball, soil completely fell away when removed from the pot. Only a couple large roots, no small roots at all.
I really thought this tree was perfect for the space and had good potential, I’m very afraid this one will also be a failure. The expense for having them professionally planted will be a a big waste of money plus losing 2 seasons of growth. So sad.

TERRIBLE. I won't buy from here again. $50 (sale price!) for a TINY TINY Metamorphosa Japanese Maple Tree is a shame. Customer service response to my issue is that I purchased this size container so that's what I got. Well I didn't have a choice and I had no reference point for how big the PLANT would be. It's a joke.

I ordered 3 fruit trees one cherry and two peach. The 2 peach trees never arrived. They were damaged by fedex. When I contacted fast growing trees, they would not give me my money back or send out 2 new peach trees. They only gave me a credit voucher, which would not cover 2 more trees. It wasn't enough so I used that plus another hundred dollars to order two more trees one apricot and one peach The apricot arrived in very bad shape, and no matter how hard I tried , I could not save it , tree died. The peach tree arrived yesterday. It is very small and it doesn't look really good.I think it's probably in shock and i'm gonna give it some time but i'm not sure it will survive. Although they say they give you a guarantee, they will not refund any of my money. So I have spent over three hundred dollars and only have a cherry tree to show for it. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

We bought 4 lilac bushes that were shipped to us dead and we filed a claim and shared a picture of dead bushes and their reply was to push us off saying "sorry they aren't thriving".
Went straight to Holland Bulbs and got live bushes within a week. Never going again to "Fast Dead Bushes"!
Customer Service & Warranty: Some customers have reported difficulties with the 1-year warranty claim process.Shipping Damage: Several users mentioned receiving damaged plants or having issues with courier handling.

Do NOT buy from this company. The pictures they show you on the website are misleading. The plants you get will be little twiggs. They won't replace or refund. Scam company. DONT BUY!

I have given this company multiple chances over the last year and a half, and the result is always the same: Total Failure. Looking at my order history, I have purchased several trees—including figs and others—dating back to January 2024. Despite following all care instructions and providing an ideal environment, not a single tree from this company has survived. They arrive looking "okay," but they inevitably decline and die shortly after planting.
It has become clear that this isn't a "bad luck" situation; it is a systemic issue with the quality of their stock. To sell plants that are destined to fail at these price points is nothing short of predatory. I’ve wasted hundreds of dollars and months of my time waiting for growth that never comes.
This company is a scam. They are selling hope and delivering dead wood. They should be investigated for fraud and shut down before they can take money from anyone else. Save your money and go to a local nursery where you actually get what you pay for.

I purchased 2 Trees. From “Fast Growing Trees”. A pomegranate tree. And a. Meyer Lemon. tree.
Both trees arrived. In a box. Zero packaging. Zero protection. And both almost dead. No, protection against. Dried out soil. Or. Any protection at all. I would. NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING. Ever again from. “Fast-Growing-Trees. EVER AGAIN. “A-Big-Company-With-A lot-Of-BS. And lies.

Bought 13 trees they all appear dead the first spring after planning contacted fast growing trees we text back-and-forth every time I text. I got a new name a new person. One person determined seven of them were dead after that I could not get a hold of no one again they played the text game back-and-forth. I will add a photo and let everyone determine if they think they’re dead or not. I think they’re all dead but no response from them. Received 2 damaged and unrecoverable shrubs. Chatted with seller who said stick em the ground they’ll be ok. After argument, they offered 25% refund. Nope. Contacted my CC company and got my money back. Filed complaints with BBB, FTC, and IL Consumer Protection Agency. Be very careful with these sellers.
After 4 hours of arguing with them they have refunded my order. Customer service is shameful.

This isn't so much about the tree as it is about the company. Very dissatisfied with the order of this tree. They waited till spring to send it out but didn;t pay attention to the weather at the destination. We were in bout of 10 degree weather when they shipped it. It arrived with almost all of the leaves and branches frozen. And to top it off there was half of the roots showing. They didn't put enough soil in the container. When I contacted them they gave me a song and dance about it being
dorment and would revive itself. No mention of the condition it arrived in. Well, it did revive itself and now I have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Green on the top but only small branches starting on the trunk. It's going to take probably years for this thing to start looking like a tree again. If I can even get it fixed.
When I responed to their email again to state this there was NO response.
I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I ordered trees 3 months ago. I still have not received them. Initially, I was told they would ship the first week in April. I have called 3 times. Each time they told me the trees would ship the following week. Still no trees. I just called and cancelled my order. They are a TOTAL WASTE of TIME AND MONEY.

Be very careful buying from this company. I specifically inquired about the pot sizes before ordering six 4–5 foot trees and was told they would arrive in 7-gallon pots. Instead, all six were crammed into three narrow shipping boxes. When I opened them, I found the trees had been downgraded to 3-gallon pots and were severely root-bound.
A 3-gallon pot is completely inadequate for a tree of this height. When I contacted customer service to complain, they gave me the runaround, claiming "sometimes they just come in 3-gallon pots," completely ignoring the specific promise made to me before I spent my money.
The trees themselves look healthy for now, but I paid for the root volume of a 7-gallon plant and was misled. It feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to save on shipping and stock costs. I have photos of the undersized boxes and the bound roots to prove it. I would have taken my business elsewhere if I had known they would cut corners like this.

Deceptive company that sells pint sized products listed in 2.5 quart pots to make you think you are getting something more established. Then the products arrive dead. They are outrageously priced.
Update: I did reply to you and explained that all the questions you asked me about the soil, the watering, etc were irrelevant because they arrived to me as tiny dead plants (each plant had two dead stems no longer than 8” long). NOT what a 2.5 quart sized plant for $55 each should ever cost. I’ve never seen such poor value.

Updating my original review:
I originally left a negative review because my order experienced significant delays and communication was extremely frustrating. I ordered shrubs on April 27 and was initially told they would ship May 3, but they were not actually picked up until May 7 with delivery expected May 10. At the time, multiple emails went unanswered, I was disconnected after finally reaching someone by phone, and the live chat system kept routing me into an AI loop without access to a real person.
That said, I also believe it’s important to update reviews when a company makes an effort to correct the situation.
After seeing my review, FastGrowingTrees reached out, apologized for the inconvenience, and provided an additional partial refund/credit, which I appreciated. More importantly, when the shrubs finally arrived, I was genuinely impressed with their condition and quality. The plants were healthy, well-packaged, and looked far better than I expected after the shipping delay.
I still think their communication and shipping transparency need improvement, especially during busy planting season, but based on the final product quality and their effort to make things right, I felt it was fair to revise my rating to 4 out of 5 stars.
