I spent $500 per tree and I got poor quality for the price I paid. The trees are barely 5 feet tall, some almost six, very slim and poor quality. Even if the shipping caused some damage, the price for... See more

Thanks for stopping by! We're Fast Growing Trees, and we're America's #1 online nursery. The overall experience with the Fast Growing Trees is very pleasant : good quality plants and very well working customer support. Ordered 5 different fruit trees within the same month. All trees arrived looking good and healthy. Exceptionally well packaging for shipping. After the arrival, all trees bounced back swiftly. Very satisfied. Thank you!

I am thrilled with my experience. I ordered 4 trees with a buy 2 get 2 free. Three of the trees are showing growth and doing well, with one that seems to be taking longer to come out. I wrote customer care, they responded with request for specific pictures, and then replied after I sent the pictures. They were specific in what they saw, my region for growing season, and some specific advice and what to watch for, including letting them know if I saw brittleness in the top of the tree which would indicate a problem for sure.
I felt confident that if the tree does not live, they will stand behind their guarantee. Incidentally, the guarantee covers the product, not the shipping for replacement, so take note.

Dogwood tree arrived in good shape.Got it Nov, 2025 and it DIED over the winter. There was a recurring charge I didn’t know about but when I tried to fill out the claim form it did not submit after 3 times. And my husband had to take a number of photos to show them the shot they require. They have NO record of the 3 forms I submitted. Now I have to fill out again but I’m too
ANGRY. If you want to waste your time jumping hoops this is the right company.

I ordered two trees-a honeycrisp and pink lady apple tree. I reveived a honeycrisp and a peach tree. I contacted the company, and they were going to send out a replacement tree. I asked for a Fuji apple instead and would pay the difference if there was one. I was told yes. Then, when I asked what the refund amount would be, suddenly it was no, but you can take your pink lady apple tree and buy a third tree from us. No one knows what they are doing, and they are very overpriced for what you get.

This company is not trustworthy. The reviews on the website are curated to remove bad ones, shipping damages are common, tree quality is poor, they sell bare root trees even though they claim they don't, customer service ignores questions and gives canned responses, and they don't honor their warranty.
SALES PITCH & REVIEWS: First off, their sales people are great. They really make you believe they will take care of you. They don't. Their reviews on their website make it seem like they have only happy customers. Probably because they delete bad reviews that tell the truth.
MISSING ITEMS: They left out one of the trees from my order. I gave them a list of trees, they sent me a payment link, and I paid. Later when I viewed the invoice, one of the trees was missing. I emailed them and they told me they would have to charge me to ship it unless I bought more products to get free shipping.
SHIPPING DAMAGES: I own a landscaping company and ordered 25 trees from them for customers. I requested multiple times for the trees to be shipped on a pallet to avoid shipping damage. They said they would. However, they were shipped in boxes, and left in a jumbled pile in our driveway. The shipper didn't ring the doorbell, so we could not refuse the boxes that were severely damaged.
Upon opening, we discovered several trees had broken branches or trunks. Several trees had fallen out of the pots with bare roots showing. One of them had withered.
TREE QUALITY: If you buy some of their larger trees, expect to get a twig. I bought several 5-6 foot trees that had a trunk with only 3-5 branches, each less than 4 inches long. A 6-7 foot tree had the main trunk cut at an awkward angle to fit in the box. Half of the trees had dead branches, with several having over 30% of the canopy dead.
THEY SELL BARE ROOT: Despite their preaching about "don't buy bare root" it is obvious that their "proprietary grow bag" that they advertise you can just plant in the ground is a scam to cover up the bare root trees they are selling. They don't want you to open the bag and see it is just a bare root tree stuck in some soil.
OVERCHARGING: As a business owner, I expected to get a discount for buying a large volume. That is not the case. After a month long back in forth with a B2B rep, I was ready to order. Conveniently several sales on their trees disappeared. I asked if they could honor the sale price, they said no. I paid the higher price. 4 days later, the sale was back on.
I ended up paying several hundred dollars more. Upon further inspection, I found they overcharged me by an average of 5-13 dollars versus their "regular price" on every tree, with the exception of 5 trees that they charged me an extra 60+. And it wasn't the warranty. That was a separate line item I paid a few hundred dollars for.
I emailed them about the price changes and they kept deflecting, claiming "prices change all the time" and "they gave me a special discount" as a business and they would have to remove it in order to give me the sales price. That special discount is 31.2%. They do several coupon codes for 30% all the time.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: I texted and emailed them about the shipping damages. They responded quickly asking for pictures. I sent about a dozen pictures. They responded that the damages look minimal and I can just prune it off. They also claimed they couldn't see any evidence of broken trunks, even though the pictures were clearly labelled.
What's worse, they ignore 2/3rds of the email, only giving canned responses and not addressing the specific issues. They also keep changing the rep I speak with. It has been a headache over the last 5 days to make any progress.
SUMMARY: Do not buy from this company. They don't care about shipping damages, they will not refund or replace damaged trees, they do a terrible job pruning them, and ship many of them as bare root trees hidden in their "propriety grow bag". The sales people lie about how they will take care of you, but after you have issues the customer service reps give you the run-around.
Avoid this company. Buy local. I usually do, but I was lured in by their large selection, "cheap" prices, and sales pitch promises. I made a mistake. Please, don't. Just buy from somewhere else.

They used to be awesome, but now you can't trust the delivery or availability dates on the website. We placed an order 9503347685 that said it would be here between 3/28-3/30, only part of it arrived, then I logged in and saw that they availability date for my Radio Red Autumn Sage was pushed to the week of June 1. So I had to cancel the order to get something sooner because the landscapers were coming 4/1. So on 3/28, I ordered 2 Multicolor Angel Trumpet Trees, order 9503366268, because they could arrive 4/1-4/2. Today (3/30) I log in to get the shipping status, and now it says they won't ship until April 15th. So I don't know what the disconnect is between the website and the nursery, but you better not coordinate with you HOA and/or landscapers until its been at least a few days since you placed your order because they are going to change your delivery on you and you won't even know unless you log in to check.

The price is so high and the quality of all flower tress and fruit trees are weak and hard to survive! Stay away from it! It is very hard to replace and return! From their website has huge discounts but after discount still at least double priceed from local nurseries!

A very economically priced hybrid tree, which arrived in a very compact shipping box. The tree was very full, and easy to transplant.

They have a great selection of trees. I gather acorns and nuts and grow my own trees. I specialize in nut trees like Walnut, White oaks, Hickory and Buckeye trees.

I have ordered seven trees from Fast Growing Trees. All of them have arrived in good condition. I planted them with 24 hours of arrival and they are all doing extremely well. I have ordered from other nurseries and not had the same success with the trees.

Reply from Fast Growing Trees
Tree that arrived was 5ft tall as described but had a trunk about the width of my pinky and was not anything like the photo. Looked like more of a vine than a tree. After a few months all the leaves fell off. Fast growing trees refused to honor the warranty.
