Disappointing. Will not use again.
Our flight ws delayed by half an hour taking us over midnight into the next day. Wehn I phoned for the pick up I said I would be charged an extra £10 for this. Although these terms and conditions were on the receipt given to me when I handed over the car I did not see this in the original terms and conditions.
When I booked this I was expecting to leave the car at Departures but instead was told to meet up in Car Park 6. I should have been told this in advance. I asked if the car park charged would be covered by the company and they said 'yes'.
When waiting for my car to be returned I noticed the car ahead of me was given an exit ticket with no charge payable. When my car arrived I was told I had to pay a £3 exit fee, when I argued this the driver gave in and tried to pay for the exit ticket with his company card but it did not work! At 1am I did not need this hassle and will not be using the company again. I travel very frequently and they have lost out big time. Do not use this company!

I am very sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience with us.
I have looked at your booking and you are correct that you should NOT have had to pay the £3 exit fee.
When you booked with us, the pick up point was as correctly stated the drop off point. However, due to Gatwick quite quickly imposing a change in procedure we had to change our meeting point to the short stay car park.
Based on your booking number being an older one, the team should have realized this and explained the new procedure when you called.
They should have also paid the exit fee for you as the change was implemented after you booked.
If you would like to email me your details to info@firstchoiceparking.co.uk I will happily get this fee reimbursed to you.
With regard to the £10 fee, this is a standard charge implied for late collection of a vehicle when it goes into a new day which is highlighted.
However if this was the fault of an airline due to delays, I can happily forward you a receipt for this fee paid which can often be claimed back through the airline.
There has been an unfortunate break down in communication within our team relaying information to you and I sincerely apologize for this. When the change was implemented we did have some teething problems but I can assure you they are now resolved.
I hope you would give us the opportunity to rectify the above and show you the great service we offer by parking with us again in the future by way of 2nd chance.
My apologies again for any inconvenience caused to you.

We had clear details. Phoned when 20 mins away from terminal car park & rep met us on arrival. Same on return. Called after customs. Waited about 15 mins on top floor of car park but was no issue. Will definitely use again.

As long as a customer calls once their baggage is collected your car should be returned approximately 20 minutes after this, I sincerely apologize if this was not the case and you had a wait.

Best Ever Service
I would like to recommend 1st Choice Parking at Gatwick, having booked off the internet, after looking at the reviews I booked. When we where nearly at Gatwick the driver rang to ask how far we where from the airport and gave us further instructions once we got to the airport the car was checked by both parties I checked the mileage and off we went on holiday.
On our return once again first class service the car was clean no scratches and only mileage from the depot to the airport.
I will use First Choice Parking again Well Done 5 stars.

bad start but good finish
gave them a call 20mins before i got to the airport carpark and waited for their man to turn up. I gave them another call, they said he was on his way, 10mins later (bearing in mind i had my wife and 3 kids hanging about too) i called again, by now i was a bit fed up and when they said he was in the lift i was not overly impressed with the `meet & greet` aspect of their service. The return journey was good as i phoned up in the baggage reclaim and my car was waiting for me in the carpark. My car was also in the same condition as i left it, so that was good news too. If only the departure was like the arrival, it would of been a 5 star service and not a 3

Was a bit sceptical about doing this as we've never left our beloved car with anyone. Very professional from the word go! Our car was in perfect condition on arrival! Definitely recommend!

Good Service
Easy to find reps in short stay car park level 5 and drop off was smooth. On return had to wait 15 mins or so for rep to arrive which is not great with young kids. Luckily weather was good. Good service for the price though.

Good service shame the pick up point is on top of the car park.
Very good service but finding our way to the top of the car park and then waiting for the collection was not as I expected. The advert led me to believe that it would be at the drop off point. It was not until I received the instructions that I found it was from the short stay car park.

We try very hard to be punctual as we are aware customers have flights to catch and do not wish to be waiting around so I apologize if this was not the case with your booking.
Unfortunately due to a change in Airport procedure we had to change the meeting point so I apologize if you were unaware of this and expecting to meet at the drop off point. We did act as quickly as possible to update information on our website but maybe you had read the information before it had been amended.
