Health and Safety: Extremely bad maintenance.
I own a flat which is held within a building containing another 30 plus properties. In Benfleet, Essex, UK.
The following is between a period of September 2022-Present.
The following have yet even been acknowledged.
1. I have internal damp issues caused by poor building drainage. In which actual plant foliage is growing from guttering.
2. There has been physical and verbal attacks to myself and fellow residents due to a lack of security measures and increased anti-social behaviour. To which a firework was thrown at me in my own residential car park.
3. The company has failed to supply a breakdown of the service charges which I am supposed to pay. I have requested this six times. I want to know what my money is being spent on. For the state of the building is extremely lackluster.
There is drainage issues, damp issues, potholes riddling the car park, no security lights or camera that are adequate, walk ways have alarming cracks in their concrete bases. Amongst other issues.
Mainstay Group are in control of the property maintenance (yet it has not been done). Payments for this maintenance are taken by FirstPort (whom now own Mainstay).
However.....
No matter how many emails I send or telephone calls I make, absolutely no one has come back to me to solve my issue.
I have damp issues and mould due to lack of building drainage which is affecting the health of my family. External issues are not my responsibility and they have been ignored to long.
