I had a great experience with the FJG team, particularly Hannah. They were very efficient, and the online portal made it easy to track the progress of my sale. Whenever I had questions, they were quick to respond and always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them.

We used FJG some time ago because they were recommended to us. We honestly couldn’t fault them, Arran was in charge of our house purchase and he was great! Arran was friendly, all our questions were answered promptly and everything was clearly explained throughout. Very happy, thanks!

WARNING! DO NOT USE! Hard to understand why Taylor Wimpey recommended FJG to handle New Build transactions in Suffolk. FJG is an amateur company run by INTERNS! Arran D'Cruz handled my house transaction being stationed overseas. Arran was super arrogant from the beginning and acting like he actually did not want to assist with the deal, Arran has zero understanding of international transactions, hardly returned calls or messages left to him and responded to emails only weeks after I sent them if at all. After NO COMMUNICATION for month's at all I called several other new build conveyancers to get a grip on who I am dealing with. FJG is totally unknow in the trade, except from in Sudbury! As I was too far in the process I was recommended to see if FJG was able to process the transaction in full. Near the end - even when I received an email asking if I was okay with completing and replying "yes", I received an email stating "we are busy and will deal with you when we have time..." ! If you are buying a house from overseas or from anywhere else for that matter, STAY AWAY FROM FJG. FJG might be able a local transaction in Sudbury - that's it.

Overall the communication was great, the several hurdles and hitches were managed well. It’s a stressful process, but my designated case manager was on hand at all times to ensure progress and avoid unnecessary delays.

If you want informed and proactive advice, and a professional level of service, don't use the conveyancing team at the Colchester office.

Nothing good to say. Lack of candour, late crucial document errors attributed to others and indifferent service. Seeking to complain about their service resulted in ‘ we will disinstruct you ‘ rather than address the client issues. Can only recommend that you do not waste your time or money here

This solicitor based in Colchester has just cost us thousands of pounds & then decided to take herself off the sale as she was not qualified .
She was not our solicitor but our purchasers solicitor . We were selling a flat . She did not respond to our solicitors contact at all for several weeks . No emails or returned calls . NOBODY could get hold of her . The estate agents got involved & our solicitors could not believe the lack of response . She also gave our buyers incorrect information that nearly led him to pull out until our solicitor had to correct her . Unbelievable!!! Unprofessional & we are now so angry as after just disappearing & not responding she decided to take herself off the case as she isn’t qualified !!!!!!!!!!! This is after nearly 3months !!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. We are now left out of pocket & our purchaser has got cold feet & pulled out . Although not part of the chain - we have now lost our house that we had fallen in love with .I am writing this just so nobody else has to go through the actual pain & distress this has caused us . If she had answered the phone three weeks ago or responded to emails & been honest we may have salvaged something . UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE !!!!!!!!!
Ps. Whilst not answering our solicitors phone calls a friend did a test call for new business & she miraculously answered .
