Scammers

Maliciously incompetent. They've been holding product hostage for months, from a Kickstarter I backed, and charging the company absurd amounts to ship ridiculously small numbers of packages, without even getting permission from their client to do so.

Thank you for your review. When it comes to shipping products to their customers, our merchants have direct control over the provider they want to offer to their customers. As a matter of fact, our customers receive exclusive rates from many different providers and are able to pass on those saving to their customers. If you encountered high shipping costs then that would be a result of the merchant and not us.

It's not hard to assume that you allegedly may be someone who works for the "mentioned" Kickstarter campaign as you seem to be basing your knowledge about shipping costs and "holding products hostage" based on insider information - which would be a violation of the NDA your company would have signed with ours.

We conduct our business operations in accordance with ethical practices to ensure that our clients receive the best and fairest service possible.

Efficient and Proactive: Floship's Fulfillment Services Exceed Expectations

As a manager responsible for the Logistics and Operations of an e-commerce business, I had the pleasure of using Floship's order fulfillment services, and I have to say, my experience was fantastic. From the moment we signed up, the entire team, especially our account manager Sophie, was incredibly hands-on and helpful every step of the way.

Floship's website is easy to use, and getting a quote was quick and straightforward. Their pricing was also competitive compared to other fulfillment companies we looked into, which was a significant factor in our decision.

Once we signed up with Floship, Sophie guided us through the onboarding process, answering any questions we had and ensuring that everything was set up correctly. Throughout our partnership, she was communicative and responsive, keeping us updated on the progress of our shipments and making sure everything ran smoothly.

What impressed me the most was how Floship's fulfillment services allowed our business to expand globally from a single warehouse. We've been able to reach customers in markets we never thought possible, and their delivery times are unbeatable. Orders are getting out as quickly as 24 hours from the time they're placed, and our customers have been delighted with the speed of delivery.

I would also like to commend Floship's Customer Support Team for their proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues with orders. They go above and beyond to let us know if there are any problems with orders that are in transit and work quickly to resolve any issues. This level of communication and support gives us peace of mind and allows us to focus on growing our business.

Overall, I highly recommend Floship as a reliable and efficient fulfillment partner. Their customer service is outstanding, their pricing is competitive, and their delivery times are unbeatable. Thanks again to Sophie and the whole Floship team for making our experience so great!

Floship is incompetent. Avoid at all costs

Floship uploaded a UPS tracking info that it was shipped but it wasn't. It hung in the system as pending and was never delivered or even received by UPS. Eventually it was removed completely from the UPS system. After inqueries it was reported as shipped and fulfilled which was ridiculous. Floship is incompetent and they don't have know what they are are doing. I suspect all of the positive reviews are fake. Beware using this company. I will probably file a lawsuit.

Logistics Manager

We had a good collaboration with Floship. They responded quickly to all our requests and the work was done with good quality. We particularly liked their WMS. It is user-friendly and we could customize it if needed. The only thing we didn't like was that their processes were too rigid, meaning that it was sometimes difficult to resolve differences. Overall, we liked it.

I have been working with Floship for a few years now and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their services. Their online portal is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to place and track orders. The customer service team is also highly responsive and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my needs are met.

One thing that I really appreciate about this service is that they offer a wide range of courier options, which has made it easier for me to find the most cost-effective and efficient shipping solutions for my organization. I have been using Floship for my main handbag brand

I have been using Floship for my logistics needs as part of my business for a while now. From the start, I have been very impressed with their reliable and efficient customer service and quality of work. My manager, Anu, was especially helpful and accommodating whenever I had queries or needed help and went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend their services and Anu in particular to anybody looking for a trustworthy and experienced logistic partner.

It's simple - don't use them.

Floship Review
I’m very glad Floship responded to my review 4 months after posting it. Despite attempting to continue working with them after that point not once have they addressed my concerns with me, only attempted to defend themselves here.

In fact, we’re STILL waiting on orders to be fulfilled after depositing $2,500USD in January to ship. Only 5 have been sent.

1. Slow Shipping: I will say that our first Kickstarter went relatively well with them. Subsequent Kickstarters that we used Floship for did not go well. And we ended up self-fulfilling many due to the extremely slow fulfilment. If you look at our businesses reviews on Trustpilot you will see several negative reviews for slow shipping - all orders from Floship.
2. Lost products: We have had two inbound shipments worth thousands of dollars get lost despite being delivered by SF. Floship did not cooperate or take any responsibility for the lost products and didn’t cooperate with the shipping company when evidence was requested.
3. It is expensive. On average fulfillment from Floship cost 3 times as much as fulfilling ourselves. $30 to ship a product where it cost $10 to ship ourselves. The difference in cost alone makes self fulfilment the right choice. IT’S NOT HARD. If you want to fulfil yourself, email me and I will help you. I’ve worked with other Kickstarters to teach them how to fulfil on their own and save a ton. Yes, Floship marks up shipping on top of their fees and it is on you to request information about markups or you’ll just keep getting skimmed.
4. They charged us $2,000 for a shipping container without getting approval from us. I'll go through all the details when I do a full review. We did not approve this shipment with this additional charge that we were not told about. A very dishonest and poor practice. This is not about us “using it anyways” - it was shipped without approval and then we were billed.
5. Any deposits you make are there forever. They essentially hold your deposits and your products hostage and use it to control the situation.
6. When you put in a ticket their response time can be up to 5 days, typically at least 2. In shipping terms, that’s forever. When I have a customer waiting for an answer and they give no response for days, that's bad for business. They will not escalate issues. The senior staff will be there to make the sale to you but then will not support you.
7. They only look out for themselves. They have no interest in customer service and doing what is best for the client. They are not proactive. They are unhelpful.
8. We are being forced to abandon around 3,050 units of product that are in the warehouse
9. Remember that sea shipment that we had surprise charges of $2,000USD for? Despite us sending documentation and having multiple calls over several months, they sent the wrong items and did nothing to own the mistake or rectify the problem. The customers still do not have the mistakes corrected.
10. If you want your products back you will pay a pick and pack for each item. If you sent 1,000 items and they’re in a closed box, they will not just ship the box back. You will pay a pick fee for each item. A $40 shipment quickly becomes $1,040 due to this. We have had to remanufacture products and ship them to Canada because it was cheaper than having Floship close the box and send it.
11. This one is just poor software: Each order has an email address associated with it and yet we get the emails from customs for duties to our office instead of the customers getting the notification. It just makes no sense and wastes our time and causes frustration to the customer. This is not about who pays for it, it’s about who is notified that it’s due.

In short, don't use them no matter how large or small your order. As of right now, we will abandon around $60,000USD of products because it's not worth getting it back from them. We have no trust that they will even fulfil what we've paid for.

The positive reviews are clearly fake reviews (all reviewers with 1 review) planted by staff to offset the negative, real reviews from real people with several reviews.

I’ve provided evidence to Trustpilot of this situation because it was challenged and Trustpilot accepted the evidence. I’m happy to speak to anyone about this.

Again, to this day, four months later, FLOSHIP HAS NOT CONTACT ME directly to work out any of the concerns.

Thanks for sharing. It seems as though you only used our services for your initial campaign which you stated went quite well. You opted for another service provider for 9 other campaigns that you ran and only Floship for one more. If the initial campaign was running smoothly why not choose us as the fulfillment partner for the other campaigns?

It seems as though even though you've had an agreeable experience the first time you were still inclined to leave a 1* review of our services. We're sorry to hear that you have encountered some negativity with our services but to clarify on a couple of your points:

Point 2) fulfilling orders by yourself is no easy feat. Sure if you're only getting a hundred or so orders a month you can easily pack and ship them yourself in a weekend. The reason why CF campaigns come to us is because we have extensive experience delivering their backer rewards without a hitch.

Point 3) We do not mark up courier fees. In fact, due to our exclusive partnerships with couriers, our customers can save up to 66% on average versus shipping by themselves.

Point 4 & 8) We secured a shipping container that you didn't approve yet, you used it anyway?

Point 6 & 7) Our global customer service team often work tremendously hard across multiple timezones to handle client requests as soon as possible. Our team are dedicated to serving their clients with a proactive and helpful manner and are always finding ways to make our clients' fulfilment operations smoother than ever.

Point 9) We are not the responsible party for DAP or DDP as I'm sure you account manager would have informed you. We are able to provide advisory services on how you might want to anticipate these costs and factor them in. For any duties that were unpaid, either the shipper or the receiver will have been contacted by customs in order to settle the outstanding amount owed based on the model that you chose to implement.

Floship has been our partner for nearly a decade, and we've been very happy with their service and commitment to excellence. Since the beginning, they've always striven to improve and expand their offering. Communication has always been prompt. Shipping errors are almost non-existent. Highly recommended!
