Delay in fulfilment that was rapidly fixed

Our operations experienced a delay in fulfilment due to an internal warehouse transfer taking longer than expected at Floship. The issue was rapidly addressed and we received a daily follow-up on the matter. Their team also made sure to upgrade, free-of-charge, the affected orders to an express shipping solutions.

Zero Communication

Zero Communication, just delaying and more delaying. My package is now in the EU for over 15 days without progress. Was nearly a month stuck in Hongkong.
Yeah, I'm also waiting for my OpenCV AI Kit.
At least an explanation would be nice. Yeah, there are problems at the moment but other packages arriving nearly without problems.

Edit: I am aware of the current situation. The Problem is you are the shipping service provider, so OpenCV AI cant help in this situation because they have commissioned you. I do not live in GB so this shouldn't be that complicated. For reference, I received now another package from OpenCV AI (send with Hong Kong Post) in 10 days.
I've been waiting for my package since 46 days now.
I am open to explanations.

Edit 2021-03-18: Thanks for the explanation and i acknowledge that you will now deal with the lack of communication in the aftermath.

In an effort to improve our services and open up clear lines of communication to all Floship customers, we have tracked your postal delay to the root cause.

Your shipment was relabelled by hand around 1/20, sorted amongst all the incoming post-Brexit material, and injected in Germany on 1/31 where it sat waiting for Deutche Post to pick up and deliver to you.

There was a delay by Deutsche Post (DP) and a complaint about them had to be lodged via the UPU to get DP to process the shipments that had arrived in Germany.

This explains your parcel's delay and whilst Brexit was a factor, it was not the main antagonist in your parcel's arrival time.

We hope this gives you a piece of mind and should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Floship.

One of the main factors behind your delay is the regulation changes caused by the flow on effect of Brexit and consequentially, the changing demands by customs on the required paperworks before parcels are cleared for release. However, the situation is in flux as brands and global couriers adapt and adjust to the new regulations as they evolve.

As a cross border logistics company, this is outside our jurisdiction and we recommend you to contact OpenCV AI Kit for the latest update on shipping status your product.

Great Communication and process

I am very happy working with floship. Even tho I am new to the process of working with fulfillment centers and international shipping I was guided very professional through the whole process and it worked out fine. There were some problems but we have been able to fix them and the floship team around Lisa and Romain always tried to solve upcoming questions and problems ASAP.

Very professional and responsive team

We have been working with different logistic partners for more than 5 years (in Europe, China and Hong Kong).
The choice of the 3PL is vital and Floship provides for our business a great solution.

We would especially outline the following points :
• Set up and integration with our CMS (shopify) were very simple.
• The portail is easy to use (I agree with the previous review concerning the billing section !)
• Possibility to use different warehouses which gives flexibility
• Inventory management is very clear
• Choice of carriers is far better compared to what we used to get with other solutions.
Moreover, the team and the assigned account manager are very professional and responsive.

Very unprofessional

UPDATE 01/19: After 5 months using Floship as my 3PL, I have realized that they are not the professional company that they seem to be. The first three months with them were good but as soon as you start getting more order volume, they make a lot of mistakes while processing your orders. I've had customers receive incorrect SKUs, less products than what they ordered or even orders being billed to my account with Fedex when they weren't even shipped - at all. I've had to refund a massive amount of orders and I've had a lot of complaints and chargebacks from customers just because of this and it has impacted my business by quite a lot. The worst thing is that they won't assume any responsibility, they just tell you to wait while they are checking the issue but it never gets resolved. As said, a huge disappointment.

I've worked with a lot of 3PL before (about 2 different companies) and none of them can even be compared to Floship. Its intuitive warehouse management system and its amazing customer support make my business back-end super easy to run so I can focus on the marketing and product design of my company. They have plenty of shipping alternatives that are pretty affordable and allow me to have a competitive advantage on the business of the same niche. They even implemented a process in their OMS just for my business, awesome!

I would only suggest a thing: redesign the billing interface so it can be clearer since sometimes I don't know how much I was charged for the week/month ect.

I definitely recommend for entrepreneurs who are looking for a reliable, responsible and affordable 3PL solution.

From the offset of our engagement with…

From the offset of our engagement with Floship their communication and understanding of our warehousing requirements were very strong. They offered a tailored solution along with excellent interfaces with our in house web platforms and systems to allow a smooth set up. Sometimes it is challenging dealing with overseas 3PL's due to language and time zone restrictions but Floship team spoke fluent English and were flexible to our operating hours which made the process a lot smoother.
I would highly recommend their services and in-house system

If you don't want headaches, Floship is the right fulfilment company!

My project "The Legs Jacket" gathered 900+ orders and since my product was made in Romania, I decided to send the EU orders myself while shipping the rest (about 600) to Floship to ship world-wide. It was actually cheaper to ship everything from the EU to Hong Kong and further ship everything worldwide from there.

I fulfilled my EU orders personally and it was such a pain, I sent about 300 orders and it took me several days, filling all forms, etc. I don't recommend DYI if you don't have an automatic system for this!

Floship, on the other hand, has fulfilled all the 600 units in a single day, without making any mistake and were super professional in their approach. Their software makes everything so simple!

Fulfillment is that kind of thing that you don't want to worry about in your business if done right, while it can be a nightmare if done wrong, so approach this like marriage and pick your fulfillment company wisely!

Great customer service!

We've been with Floship for almost 18 months now and in that time, they have been extremely helpful and had very minimal shipping errors reported by our own customers.

We have our own account manager, Rammel, who is BRILLIANT and assists us with even the most difficult of questions in the quickest turn around.

We did experience some issues with invoice charges, however Floship were quick to follow up any errors and happy to have higher up management get on a call to discuss further.

If you're looking for an easy 3PL solution, with great customer service, Floship is for you!
