Very disappointed with Fortnox
I had a really bad experience with Fortnox. They sent an invoice to an email address that wasn’t even mine, and I never received anything by post. Because of that, I didn’t know about the invoice — and later they sent the case to Inkasso, which made me have to pay extra fees.
When I called Fortnox to explain the situation, they said there was nothing they could do since the invoice was already paid. I find this very unfair, because the mistake wasn’t mine. I never got the original invoice, and I had no chance to fix it before they sent it to collections.
Very disappointing customer service and poor communication. I expected more responsibility from a company like Fortnox.

Just not good
Complicated user interface, poor and missing functionality, zero transparens on what's included and what's not included in the different pricing elements and a service that is slow, unqualified and to no help at all.

Expensive and Buggy
Well, first of all: it is super expensive and not intuitive.
Second, the multi-language support is not fully supported yet.
The functionality is heavily based on permissions in the backend which makes the UI and functionality strange.
Example: I had to pay for invoice translation which is buggy. The most important thing in accounting is to find the correct bookkeeping account (bokföringskonto) , and the translation never finds it correctly. so I have to correct it manually and I have to pay for that!

So now Fortnox has stopped supporting Safari? I can't use it anymore, but I can with Chrome. But I don't want to use Google! I pay loads of money, but Fortnox can't offer support on all platforms? It's just ridiculous. Edit, in response below:Don't tell me it worked, because it didn't! I called your customer service, they were unaware and not able to help me. The solution was simple: I had to update the Safari version. But, in the meantime you upgraded Fortnox to a new Safari version without informing your customers or your customer service employees. So you really need to step up your game! Keep supporting older OS versions or inform your customers. It so easy to do.

To change the program language to English, the system administrator in your subscription needs to make the setting. Follow these steps:
- Click on the company name in the top right corner.
- Select "Manage Users".
- Click on the name of the user whose language you want to change.
- Under "System Settings", click on "Language"
- Select "English".
- Click "Save" at the bottom right.

Not enough English translation which makes the program difficult to use for non natives. Expensive if you are just starting out.

I really like how you cover all options for running a small business, this has really helped me, my biggest issue is the use of English is limited, and all the training videos are in swedish, for the system to work for me it needs a fully English version

Simple but efficient
I've been using Fortnox from year 2018 and since 2023/2024 they've started to add a lot of useful features like integration with the bank or see booking from the last supplier invoice directly on the same page and many more.
Their main issue is that they don't have all the text translated to English but I hope they will fix this.

Never buy a Lagerbolag with them
They promise to speed up the founding of a Aktiebolag with there Lagerbolag Product. But it was not as fast as promised and did not work at all in the end. And for doing nothing they will send you a high invoice.

We regret that our service did not meet your expectations. It is important to point out that we cannot guarantee that a bank will approve a customer, as each bank carries out its own KYC process according to its internal guidelines.
In this case, you have chosen to cancel the order yourself. When ordering a warehouse company, you accept, through BankID, the applicable terms and conditions, including the cancellation invoice. This invoice refers to the administrative handling that has already been carried out in connection with the order.
