Where we wanted to go, when we wanted to go. As always it was an all round pleasant experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my cruise. The staff were brilliant, the food was fantastic in all venues, the destinations excellent. The excursions I went on were amazing. Everything was well planned, well executed and delivered by a knowledgeable, friendly and highly capable team. As a solo traveller, I quickly got to know the other solo travellers on my table at dinner which meant that there were always people to go to shows and activities with - including the Colours and Tastes Restaurant which was amazing.

Embarkation is disembarkation was very smooth and well handled. All the staff were great and our cabin stewardess was proactive with our needs. Great entertainment on board.

Excellent service by excellent staff, particually Juliet & Chorolyn in 'al fresco' area eating around pool and Benito (Suaz) in buffet and Kwalada in Book Room/ koffie area

I have never had a bad experience with Fred Olsen, I took my daughter with me on her first cruise and we both had a wonderful time as the staff and service were exceptional as always.

Once again Fred Olsen lived up to our expectations!
Everything from entertainment to dining to cabin and cleanliness!!
The shows both professional and the crew were excellent!
The excursions were as advertised. Guides and drivers were knowledgeable and patient. As with all things, some places were interesting others not so (Tobermory, for one). On the other hand My wife loved the Faroes and my preference was Belfast.
We are both looking forward to our next adventure with Fred Olsen!

As always every thing great !!and it was lovely when they sang and a cake on my 80th Birthdayon July Only thing I was dissapointed with since my first cruise on Black Watch when I tasted Beef Tea that we all talked about to find out on my Cruise on Balmoral that you didn't make it any more but when I asked about it like nothing was too much trouble it was made in the galley for me for me but when I asked after coming back from a trip in Iceland I was told no So hoping when I am on Balmoral again Dec 26 and Jan 27 I can get my favourite Beef Tea and after all these yrs and has long has I can I will always travel with Fred Olson

From the booking to the end of the cruise, all the staff were amazing! Easy and friendly booking on the phone, very efficient check-in, wonderful welcome onboard, all the staff (crew, restaurant, cleaning, entertainment) were friendly and professional. Wonderful food, amazing service throughout the cruise, excellent entertainment! We visited fabulous places at each stop and had a wonderful time on board when at sea. Altogether we had a lovely time!

We had the most amazing holiday with Fred Olsen. The itinerary was perfect. The ship, our cabin and surrounding lounges were superb. We had wonderful crew members taking good care of us. The food menu was excellent and the restaurant excellent. We had great entertainment each evening. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked another cruise with Fred Olsen.

Fantastic food, attentive friendly staff and our request for a table for two was always accommodated.

The planned trips were well organised.

Fred Olsen are my cruise line of choice . As a solo traveller I am very well catered for . I prefer the smaller ship experience. The food , entertainment are fabulous . Itineraries are terrific & the staff are simply the best at sea

The crew make the holiday. Food excellent throughout. With the the exception of The show featuring Herbie Adams - which was appallingly bad - the evening entertainment was very enjoyable. The Balmoral show company were I think the best I have seen on any cruise. Good range of excursions. Overall a very good weeks cruising.

The Icelandic cruise was very enjoyable well planned itinerary. Service and cabin excellent. The food was very good. The shows put on at the theater were I would say up to West End standards.The only comment I would make is the coffee served in the restaurant and buffet is very poor.

Other than a muddled boarding everything was well coordinated. The variety and quality of the good was excellent.

Great food, Good Service, Superb Entertainment. However we paid a lot of money for Internet which was pathetic to say the least. Internet should be fee to clients . Also boarding announcements were pathetic. A PA system is necessary.

A lovely cruise to interesting places. On board experience very good due to excellent staff who were always cheerful and helpful. Entertainment first class.

The service was great. staff really helpfull and always smiling. Food great.
I was on the Iceland and British Isles cruise. It would have been nice to spend more time in Reykjavik as ther was so much to do, maybe an overnight stop. Faro Islands was a miss as nothing to see.
The Orca charity on board was the highlight as we saw so much marine life and they did a couple of great talks. I think the ship could have given them more time and opertunities to talk to the guest as we asked for this but never happened. I am not talking about a few guests either. The talks they did do were full.
There was no were really to go to get away from the loud singing in the day unless you stayed outside. It was far to loud.

I had a lovely holiday on Borealis to Iceland etc. I love the size of the ship, wonderful food and friendliness of everyone.
