Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 61 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the app's clear, intuitive design and its effectiveness in achieving fitness goals. Reviewers often highlight engaging, adaptable workouts and helpful features like exercise videos that aid in proper form. However, a significant number of customers express strong dissatisfaction with the automatic subscription renewal process, reporting unexpected charges for unused services and frequent denials of refund requests based on non-refundable policies. Concerns also arise regarding issues related to payment processing, difficulties canceling subscriptions, and some found the app's interface clunky or workout variety insufficient.

Got this free with Revolut and it’s the first fitness app I’ve tried. Varied workouts and it has pushed me to try new things, it’s been great to mindlessly follow and it has pushed me to greater feat... See more

Three times a week consistently, so I guess I like the app. Have done Crossfit for about 6 years. Did Freeletics before that and got a bit bored. Picked it up again and just stay fit with Freeletics... See more

Perfect for busy working moms

As a busy working mom, Freeletics has been a lifesaver for helping me stay consistent with my fitness goals. I no longer have to waste time searching for a workout - the Coach gives me a new workout each day. It challenges me and, more importantly, I’ve noticed major progress in my strength and overall fitness. It’s been a game changer for sure!

They will sneakily auto-renew your subscription and charge you a hefty amount even after you have cancelled for years. FREELETICS IS A SCAM

I have never used this app since 2018. Out of nowhere, last week May 2024. I was charged in my card!

I am not even financially stable to be falling victim to this trap. i am paying for my mom's expensive healthcare but they don't care and they refused to refund me.

No reminders of an upcoming subscription renewal. I have not even received any sort of email from them since 2018. NOT EVEN A RECEIPT ISSUED.

No reminders of an upcoming charge, Just a sly, cheap trick of renewing behind your back and they will gaslight you that you may have not been reading the terms when you signed up for this free service.

It's like teasing you with "that's how we get ya"

I’ve finally managed to incorporate sport into my life with Freeletics. Love the way they combine strength training and cardio. Slowly but surely I see first results and I’m so excited! 🥹

Great app

Great app. Used it for two years now. The kettlebell journey can be inproved as well as the instruction videos for proper technique. How long would it take to make an apple tv app? That would be nice👍

An Incredible Virtual Coach

Freeletics has been incredible for me. It’s helped me to stay focused and motivated to continue exercising and reaching my goals. It’s the only app I use for workouts because it’s so handy. They have everything I need weather I’m at home or on a trip.

Holistic approach to Wellness

I love the way Freeletics combines strength training, cardio, and mindfulness. It's a holistic approach to wellness, and that's exactly what I was looking for. Super flexible, it allows me to train from home and outside whenever I can cut out some time from my busy schedule!

10 years and still loving it

Been using Freeletics for the past 10 years and still going on. No other fitness app is this easy to use everywhere and anywhere and provides variety of training journeys. I wouldn’t have had a healthy lifestyle without Freeletics. This app changed my life for the better 💪🏽.

This app changed my body!

This app changed my body!

I was smoking, drinking and generally living a life that had no place for sport. After I started using it, I transformed myself into a beast! I even finished my first Spartan race last month

I’ve taken up Freeletics since last…

I’ve taken up Freeletics since last December. I completed an initial 6 weeks Fit For Life programme and today the 12 weeks Balanced Burn programme. Lost 4 kg in the process, created a habit and achieved best shape in year. I will be selecting my next one this week and am already looking forward to it ! So yes it made a very positive impact !

Surprised Freeletics hasn’t got 4+…

Surprised Freeletics hasn’t got 4+ stars. I’ve been training regularly for around 15 or so years. Done my own spreadsheets. Followed some PTs. A few apps. And have all gotten a little bored of each. This app has it all. Journeys are great and you can mix it up all the time. Guided videos are perfect and it’s the easiest app I’ve used. Very user friendly.

They are sneaky

They are sneaky. It’s the typical renew your subscription without telling you. Policy says that cancelations within 14 days are eligible for a refund, yet support is rejecting it.

Beware of Freeletics: Unjust Illegal Automatic Renewals

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Freeletics. Despite clear legal regulations that allow for cancellation with a one-month notice period at the end of the billing cycle, my subscription was automatically renewed for another year. Even after multiple attempts to resolve this issue through customer service, Freeletics has refused to cancel the renewal or issue a refund. This not only contradicts their stated terms and conditions but also ignores consumer protection laws effective from March 1, 2022, which are supposed to prevent such practices. Their lack of flexibility and disregard for customer rights have left a very negative impression, and I would caution others about their automatic renewal policies and customer service.
