Superb on a sunny day
If you live on the north side of Copenhagen (Lyngby, Holte, Hellerup, Virum) this place is a gem when the sun is shining.
A little BBQ restaurant by the shores of a big lake with a swimming beach where the family can have a reasonably priced BBQ buffet with salads, and then take a swim or enjoy a cold drink while the sun sinks in the (south) west.
And I just have to mention the good service. We visited in June 2017 on a busy, sunny afternoon, where the place was full of families and kids and people having their evening meal. We were approached by a waiter immediately (all speak English), were served our drinks within ten minutes, had our dinner orders taken straight after that and it was easy getting eye contact with the waiters again any time we needed another drink or help with coffee, dessert etc. Fantastic, young friendly people and guess what? They don't work for tips, they get a decent wage and it shows.
