Helpful but not always well organised

Ordered a bike to be delivered to the store. Was told the order would take two weeks and ended up taking much closer to two months. Communication was slow during this period and repeated requests for an update were needed to solicit any information. Once the bike arrived there was an issue which was soon corrected but communication about this was again poor.

Eventually, I received the bike and everything seems well set up and handover was smooth.

Great customer service

The staff is professional and friendly they know what they're doing.The shop has great selection of high end bikes For me this is the best place to buy one or test one.

Selection and Service help

Richard, Ben and team have been extremely helpful with both the selection of my bike as well as aftersales care. I recently brought it in for it's gratis 6-week health check and the few niggles I experienced have been completely cured. Thanks again

Fully Charged service centre

My Moustache ebike is getting on now - 4 years old and 11,600 miles. Thanks to Carlos (and Max) for the usual great service. Back on the road after a silver service (with a work around while we wait for some parts to arrive from France). Thanks again and pleased to see the business is thriving.

Knowledgeable and helpful team

Very knowledgeable team who helped me purchase a GoCycle through the cycle2work scheme.
The cycle build was great, they added my accessories too, and the 6 week free service is a nice touch.

The store manager will lie to you to…

The store manager will lie to you to make a sale. I’ve recently purchased a Super 73 RX bike. While charging my bike on the back of the battery, I noticed the label that said do not expose it to water. After browsing the web, I discovered my bike is not waterproof. However, during the sale, Richard (sales manager) told me that the bike was waterproof. I clearly stated that I intended to store the bike outside at all times and ride in any weather, but it didn't stop him from selling me a bike that was not waterproof. The store owner was in the store that day. He heard us talking but also hadn’t said anything about the bike not being waterproof.

I’ve emailed Richard and asked if he can confirm that I’ll be covered if any water damage occurs. I’ve been also ready to return the bike and get other one that is waterproof. However, Richard only suggested that other customers that have this bike storing it outside with parka and the bike is just fine. I pushed back but didn't receive any further response.

Brilliant service from Fully Charged…

Brilliant service from Fully Charged team. I went for a minor repair and fit a double kickstand for my Benno. Bruno at the front of the house and Bryan went above and beyond to make sure the bike was in the stand the least time possible. Now The Beast is ready to hit the road again. As a small business owner, I value quality and effective service. Thank you, FC. You Rock!

London store purchase

I bought a Moustache from London Bridge store, after having tried a friend's Reese and Muller. FC website is a bit rubbish and seemed to only allow consultations to be booked at Silverstone but called London and went in, had a play on one, ordered cash. With a little nudge bike was ready within the allotted period and Richard and team helped set me up and send me on my way!

Purchased a Riese & Müller Load60 from…

Purchased a Riese & Müller Load60 from Fully Charged a few months back (~£9k bike all-in with options) and it has been tremendous. Changed London for our small family and allows us to get around so easily now. We cross-shopped Tern GSD and a few other options but Ben & the team were very helpful choosing this one. Been in a few times since for accessories, etc. as well and every visit has been great.

Never looked back

Visited fully charged in August 2020 - found the team very informed and helpful. Purchased a R&M Delite there and then for my commute to work across London and never looked back. This bike eats up distances in all conditions in total comfort - now over 12000km on the clock and still looks as good as new. It’s a big purchase but worth every penny, well engineered / high quality and now I’m saving money as haven’t had need for an annual railcard since the pandemic. Fully Charged servicing has been great too.

I have a Ribble Endurance SLe which is…

I have a Ribble Endurance SLe which is a great bike. However, recently the control button was no longer functioning. Got in touch with Ribble in Preston and they gave me the address of the nearest “Mahle” service in London which is “Fully Charged”.
I cycled there and spoke to Brian, the service manager. He took the bike away and came back after less than ten minutes with the problem fixed by his colleague Carlos. Brian refused any payment and advised me how to avoid the controller getting stuck again.
I must say, I didn’t think people and businesses like this existed anymore. Very professional, understanding and friendly.
I’m very glad I’ve found them.
Brilliant!!!

Superb Family e-cargo bike Buying Experience

I got in contact with Fully Charged having regularly seen their social media activity (mainly facebook, also LinkedIn), especially relating to electric cargo bikes to carry children. We live in West London and traffic is becoming an increasing problem, especially on the school run and ferrying them around to local sports clubs. As we were still a little unsure, we made an appointment with the team at Fully Charged in central London.

We were hosted by Richard and he ran through the various bike options available (we have two children, 4 & 8), we then test-rode several styles of e-cargo bike, initially with no children on board, then when we worked out the best option, we took a second test-ride with the children to understand the effort and balance required, fully-loaded. It was also important to make sure the bike chosen could easily be ridden by both my wife and me (with a quick saddle adjustment).

We settled on a Tern GSD S00, which has proven to be a fabulous bike and we all absolutely love using it (still being used in these winter months too!). It's super easy to ride, has a loaded capacity of up to 200kg and plenty of motor power to get us up any hill, range is excellent too.

The Fully Charged team were fantastic throughout, from initial test rides, through to ordering the bike (I had to wait for delivery as they're in such demand, however, was kept fully updated throughout the process), then took store delivery. There's also a tune-up/check after 6 weeks of having the bike. They WANT to help with any questions, whether best means to secure the bike, which accessories are recommended, bike insurance options, they are very familiar with bike to work schemes.

I can understand why Fully Charged are great at selling e-bikes, they work incredibly hard to understand your requirements, enable you to test lots of bikes until you establish the right one that really suits you, they then continue to work hard on a customer service level to delight you as a customer.

If you are thinking of an e-bike, I definitely recommend you check out the Fully Charged social media feeds for super useful video guides, tips, FAQs etc.

Buying a bike from Fullycharged

On my first viit to the shop I was given a test ride on a Reise and Muller Charger 4, which was the nearest bike to the bike I was after - a Supercharge. I was impressed by the bike and by the fact that I was trusted with the bike. I placed an order, gave a deposit - all very easy. There seemed to be some delay to the delivery but when I popped in to the shop a few weeks later they told me, to my surprise, that the bike was in their depot. I paid the balance and delivery was arranged. I asked for a lock to be included and this agreed, which I thought was great customer support. The bike arrived by courier a couple of days later (great service), fully assembled. I'm very pleased with the bike and the professional way in which Fullycharged conducted the transaction.

My experience

From start to finish my experience with Fully Charged was exceptional. The showroom in London Bridge is so well decked out with the highest quality eBikes which are on a different level compared to Van Spoof and Pure Electric.

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and took care in helping me find my ideal bike. Ended up going for a Moustache Friday which has made travel an absolute joy in London.

I have been back for servicing and it was turned around within a day and felt like new. All in all, 10/10.

Actually 11/10 as they had a high fidelity sound system in the shop as well.
