The sales woman was very disrespectful
The sales woman was very disrespectful. Since the beginning, she was moody and didn’t bother to show us the uses of sofa bad. Her facial expressions, her body language was very rude. I was surprised that this is allowed in a branded place like this! I also noticed them laughing behind my back as she might be sharing comments about me when I came back to ask her some questions about the sofa. Very poor sales team. I have been to other sofa centres after that and I realize how supportive and well-behaved they are. I wanted to buy a sofa bed from Furniture village shop, but after seeing the way they treat the customer, I rather buy the sofa online. So shameful and shocking experience.

Excellent professional advice

Very friendly and knowledgeable salesperson. Helped us make our decision and easy to order new sofa. Even got free cup of coffee. Would recommend to others.
Brilliant service
The man who served us was brilliant. He was helpful, funny and informative. He was also grounded and real. A real genuine and nice guy. The lady who took my grandson off and played with him was also great. They both made us feel welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely shop there again.
Incompetence piled on incompetence at Hove
If I could give zero stars I would do so. I ordered an expensive ottoman bed from the Hove store. After many agonising calls to customer care and to the store, they finally agreed to deliver a replacement bed. It arrived today, but it’s the wrong bed. Incompetence piled on top of incompetence. Does no one there care about what they deliver? Shouldn’t they check for obvious defects and then also that the right bed is being delivered?? This doesn’t seem an unreasonable expectation, particularly when they are trying to correct a previous mistake. Now back on the merrygoround trying to get hold of someone to sort it out. So if you like paying loads of money for faulty goods and / or receiving the wrong item, and also if you love hanging on the end of the phone wasti g your own time sorting out their mistakes for them, the Furniture Village is the one for you!!

I would have given 5 stars until I realised that we had been forced into a hasty decision. We were told the sale for that particular company was ending that Sunday. 2 weeks later there is still the same offer. Sharp practice which I don’t like It pays to be honest as now I would think twice about using Furniture Village

We were made welcome on our initial visit to Brighton store by Joel.
He was informative and patient with us on our selection and had all the knowledge required and expected from a professional salesperson.
A comfortable purchase
James Head, the sales consultant showed expertise in the mattress product pointing out how accessories would benefit the quality of sleep. James was friendly and approachable and made the sales process smooth and efficient, never being rushed for a decision I wasn't comfortable with. I left the store feeling confident in the purchase. Many thanks

We placed an order with Gemma at the Hove store. She was friendly and very efficient, took the order and offered us a range of options that were available to us whilst making our purchase. As she said we would we received a text and an email shortly after confirming our transaction.
We’ve bought plenty of items before from Furniture Village and we will be using them again in the future.
Good products and better staff.
We rocked up at 5.35 on a Saturday and from the warm welcome we got from every staff member, you'd never have known they'd been working for nearly 9 and that the store was closing in 25 minutes.
We were lucky enough to have James come over and give us advice on the dining chairs we were looking at. He was really friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made us feel confident in making our decision. He wasn't at all pushy despite the fact we'd gone past closing time and gave us room to make our that decision.
James said he'd been working for Furniture Village for 20 years and it's no wonder because he's a credit to the company.
Oh and we bought some really nice chairs at a great price with the promotions available. All in all, very happy.

Sale went smoothly
All Good!
From the man at the showroom, who talked us through all the product details, to the delivery people, who were polite & friendly, everything went smoothly.
There was a slight mess up & 2 of the 4 chairs will now be delivered next week, but aside from that, communication was good.
