Furniture Village - Chester Reviews 

I bought a table and chairs today from furniture village and was helped today by Terry who explained everything in great detail and helped us to finalise the purchase. Happy guy who put us at ease and helped us over the finishing line. A great help 5 stars 🌟

Absolutely fantastic! We've been looking for a sofa for weeks and Johnny and Terry are not just sales staff - we walked in and within 1h walked out with a sofa to be delivered in up to 7 days ! How amazing!

Morgan was very professional and and made my experience a pleasurable one. Will definitely be ordering again.

We had a really great experience with Terry in the Chester branch had previously been in to have a look to get an idea of what it was we wanted. When we had decided we went back and Terry was on hand to help us complete our order nothing was to much trouble for him and everything went smoothly.

I was looking for a new sofa set and the salesman Morgan Sing was absolutely brilliant. A true accolade to the business. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was very informative. The quality of furniture in store was also very impressive which made spending my money with furniture village a very easy decision. Thank again Morgan!!!

Terry was helpful and explained all options to us thoroughly and explained the purchase process which enabled us to place our order today, he was friendly, professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

Absolutely shocking customer service received.
Ordered a dining room table and chairs mid 2025. Paid for the extended care and had to make a claim for a small chip, which they couldn’t repair so we were issued a voucher. All good, new voucher used on new table & chairs. The table arrived damaged (noticed by delivery guy) so a replacement table (3rd now!) arrived….. different colour to the one we ordered, and damaged!!
I paid outright for this - just over £2300. FV collected table 3 left use without any furniture from the order, and without any refund, so we are £2300 out of pocket. Some people would call that THEFT, but that’s not a word I’d like to use at this point……
Weeks & weeks, & Hours and hours of calls later and were advised we can have a full cash refund which we accepted…… no refund received. Instead we were advised we could have another voucher for a table & chairs…. Now, we have kids so we had to buy a table from a different retailer - we were getting a full refund after all. Cue next call from furniture village - we will provide a credit note for the original value, but must be used on table and chairs - no full refund as previously advised. We are quite happy with the other table and chairs we now have from the other retailer, so asked for the credit note to allow any furniture. This was approved and sent to our local store in Chester. We popped in, ordered a new sofa, paid a little extra on top. All good you’d think, but now the FV chester staff don’t know how to process the order…… almost two weeks after us placing the order……
No reply to my e-mails.
Never call back when they say they will
Take my money and leave me without the furniture.

Please do yourselves a favour and AVOID this company. It’s really not worth the hassle.

We were very indecisive on what dining room table we were wanting. Morgan and Terry were friendly and patient with us while we made our decision, answering any questions we had. We were offered care plans to ensure longevity of the product.

Google says 0345 numbers cost up to 60p per minute! - No thankyou! Their live chat line isn't working! What to do when my genuine leather sofa has the PAINT peeling off? A 1 hour drive to the store.

The minute we walked in it was an eggperience of the best ,Faisal met us and was eggcellent,he eggplained in great detail about the products we looked at,he was the egg to our bacon
Faisal had to go and Terry took over and was eggcellent also ,he was a double yolker for sure we were eggstatic to meet him.

Our experience at furniture village as new home owners was brilliant! All staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful. We have to give an egg-tra special thank you to Will who ordered our new sofa exactly how we wanted. We will be back for your dining room very soon.

Fabulous store with very helpful staff who don’t chase you round.
If you have any questions you go and ask them, while your there they will ask you if you would like coffee or hot chocolate, we declined as it was so nice in there I could of easily made myself at home. Will definitely shop at Furniture Village again bought exactly what we wanted and very pleased as it was bought in the sale 🙂

Went here Saturday 29th with the wife we were greeted by Terry we told him we were just looking he said if we needed any help let him know we walked around the store without a vulture on our shoulder we came across a suite which we both liked Terry came over and gave us all the information we needed gave us a brochure on the suite there was no hassle we left with the information looked over it in the evening, went back Monday and because Terry was off we spoke with Will who gave us more information and we decided to buy , There was NO pressure by either Terry or Will and now looking forward to receiving the suite , and while walking around the store we noticed a few other items so sure we will be back , it was nice to be able to walk around at our own time with no one pestering us , highly recommend this store Gwen and Paul Jones

They were so sweet,respectful and kind. They were with us when we needed help, provide all of the informations ,option etc everything that we needed. All of the staff was absolutely brilliant .
