Do not purchase a car from this dealership!!!

My Experience Buying a Vehicle in November 2025
Overview
I purchased a vehicle from Fusion Motors in November 2025, enticed by the advertisement promising a car with only 8,000 miles on the clock. However, upon receiving the car, I discovered it had 11,000 miles. Though I initially decided to overlook this discrepancy, my experience quickly worsened due to multiple faults in the vehicle.
Service and Communication
From the moment I reported the issues, communication with the dealership was disappointing. Over the span of three months, I sent roughly 20 emails and made about as many phone calls—most of which were ignored. My attempts to get the faults resolved were met with excuses, rather than solutions or genuine support.
Customer Effort
Dealing with Fusion Motors proved to be both stressful and time-consuming. I spent several hours following up, and even took two days off work to deliver the vehicle to their premises. Despite these efforts, the faults remained unresolved, leaving me frustrated and feeling undervalued as a customer.
Summary
• Advertised mileage was inaccurate (8,000 miles promised, 11,000 miles delivered)
• Vehicle had multiple faults on arrival
• Repeated emails and phone calls largely ignored
• Significant time wasted, including two days off work
Conclusion
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Fusion Motors. The combination of inaccurate advertising, poor customer service, and unresolved vehicle faults made this purchase deeply unsatisfactory. I hope my review helps other prospective buyers make informed decisions and encourages the dealership to improve their service standards.

You guys are the best in the business

You guys are the best in the business. Hats off to Doug for the quality service — smooth, quick, and professional from start to finish.

I bought a really nice second-hand MG from these guys. I actually waited before writing this review, just in case anything went wrong within the first month or two.

Having had bad experiences with second-hand car dealers in the past, I was cautious — but Fusion Motors completely proved me wrong. The car has been great and the service was honest and reliable.

Highly recommend Fusion Motors to anyone looking for a quality used car.

Do not go here

I purchased a car in August 2025. Once I got home I realised the car didn’t have the wheel lock key, I had to purchase a new one. I was promised a reimbursement as the car should have come with the wheel lock key. After multiple phone calls and emails that have been ignored it is quite clear I won’t be receiving the money. On top of that the car was serviced ( supposedly) but doesn’t show this in the service book and the car is saying it’s due one. I have had multiple faults with the car resulting in £2,300 of charges to get it fixed and suitable to drive. I am absolutely gutted with the customer service, as a single mum with limited funds. I trusted this garage with my money and I am now regretting my decision. Please do your research first before considering this garage.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER
I purchased a VW Golf and the experience has been nothing short of shocking. After collecting the car and driving around 80 miles home, I immediately noticed several serious faults: vibration through the steering, stop/start not working, and cruise control not working.
I took the car to a trusted local garage who advised me not to drive it any further. They found:
• Front tyres were different sizes, with flat spots and cracked sidewalls
• One front tyre was two years older than the car itself
• Rear tyres were below the legal limit
• Battery was only holding 30% charge
• Sill damage caused by the car being jacked up incorrectly
I contacted the dealer and explained that the faults would cost £550 to put right. At first, they said they would reimburse me if I paid for the repairs myself, but I explained I couldn’t afford to do that. They then told me to source part‑worn tyres, buy a battery from Euro Car Parts, and fit it myself. I refused, and was told their director “Wouldn’t sign that off”.
I also pointed out that the MOT had been done by them just two weeks before I bought the car. They claimed that was “nothing to do with them”. After this, I exercised my right to reject the car within 30 days. They insisted I return it to them, but as the car was unsafe to drive, I told them they would need to collect it. It took them two weeks to do so, and after lots of phone calls and emails another 10 days to issue a refund. The same day I rejected the car they put it back up for sale despite not having collected the car or refunding me,
They then attempted to withhold money for mileage and even tried to keep my deposit. I had to remind them that a rejection within 30 days entitles the buyer to a full refund.
After checking Companies House, I discovered that the MOT garage and the dealership are linked. Based on the condition of the car, I seriously doubt the MOT station even saw the vehicle.
Think very carefully before giving this dealer any of your money. In my experience, they were willing to sell a car in dangerous condition and made the entire process as difficult as possible. I fully expect this review to be followed by a couple of suspiciously positive ones.

Family car delivered with serious safety issues and refusal to accept return

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership after being given repeated assurances about its condition. I was told that negative Trustpilot reviews were largely from customers unhappy with finance arrangements, and specifically reassured that “I wouldn’t send a car to Scotland if it had issues,” with reference made to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as protection.

The vehicle was purchased as our family car, with the expectation that it would be safe and reliable for transporting our baby.

On delivery, the vehicle was found to have black mould that had penetrated the fabric of the seatbelts, not superficial staining. Given that seatbelts are safety-critical components, this immediately raised serious concerns.

I contacted the dealership promptly. What followed was extensive back-and-forth communication with no clear ownership of the problem. During this time, I was advised that replacement seatbelts could be sourced on eBay for around £25 each, which did little to reassure me that the issue was being treated with appropriate seriousness.

Shortly afterwards, when the vehicle was fully charged for the first time, a warning message appeared indicating a fault with the battery.

At this point, I formally notified the dealership in writing that I was exercising my short-term right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Despite this, I received responses refusing to progress the rejection and instead insisting that I arrange independent assessments and reports.

Since then, communication has deteriorated significantly. Emails and phone calls have gone unanswered, leaving me without clear information, without a resolution, and without a suitable vehicle while caring for a baby.

What has been most disappointing is the lack of customer care and accountability throughout. Rather than proactive support or clear communication, I have been left to chase repeatedly at a stressful time. I am sharing this review to reflect my experience of the service provided and to encourage prospective customers to consider carefully how issues may be handled should problems arise shortly after purchase.

Updates:

- 03/01/2026: still no response
- 04/01/2026: still no response
- 05/01/2026: still no response
- 06/01/2026: heard their (shocking) response after lots of chasing - they are doubling down on refusing to accept the return and refund of the vehicle, despite this being my legal right as a consumer. Will stop posting updates now as things are being formally progressed.
