Money driven company, no morals!

When the job was worth £1000 it was in their catchment area but a problem with the EV charger arose, and was replaced by the manufacturer but Richard/ Lily refused to help install the replacement. When it was I replaced, half the brickwork was removed due to very poor workmanship (and never repaired). My advice is find a company able to drill a round hole and has morals!

Fantastic in every way.

I cannot understand the poor reviews of this company at all. Our experience was the total opposite. Richard, Peter and George arrived at the time we had been given. Their work was quick, clean and efficient and most important, to me, they were nice people. They explained what they were doing and went through how everything worked. I even had a phone call this morning (Day after installation) from Richard asking if everything was OK and offering to call in and go through anything we weren't sure of. If we need any electrical work in the future I will be straight on the phone to Richard.

Ignoring all contact methods

I have been trying to contact Richard or Lily since late December concerning a complaint we raised about workmanship on our Tesla charger. They will not reply to emails or phone messages, to which I have sent several. I have gone as far as contacting Citizen's Advice and sending a formal letter of complaint to Richard, which has not been acknowledged. I will carry on with legal proceedings simply out of principle. Please take my advice and avoid this company.

No after sales service

The positives first of all. The install was neat, as I’d requested, and well finished. Ultimately it now worked well.

Unfortunately they used a cheap trip switch which was faulty, and the system tripped every night. A fairly fundamental issue for a EV charger.

There is zero after sales care. Repeated emails and phone calls got no response other than intermittent assurances from office staff that someone would get back to me (they didn’t) and incorrectly pointing me directly to the EV vehicle supplier.

I ended up diagnosing and repairing the trip switch fault personally. A non electrician really shouldn’t be dismantling an RCD box but I was left little choice. 3 months on and multiple attempts to speak to anyone with an electrical background have failed, let alone actually get someone back out to look at the faulty installation..

Suggest you find another installer please.

Unprofessional

The engineer fitted a data cable when I had a wireless home energy manager (WHEM)device, left a mess on hall carpet, brickwork damaged excessively on the exterior of the property, did not want to fit the WHEM and he then said he didn’t have a screwdriver small enough which I supplied? Emailed the company to complain and have just been fobbed off no apology called a liar indirectly, saying the engineer didn’t make a mess and my responsibility to tell them it had a WHEM when clearly stated on documents in the box. Wish I had never asked them to fit the charger. Apparently they have never fitted a WHEM device in there 12 year history please avoid this company

Everything for the initial call, survey, to booking, then install was exceptional 10 stars
Lily in the office is fantastic with the engineer Pierre being polite, clean and overall fantastic person.

If I could give this company no stars I…

If I could give this company no stars I would. After a lengthy email exchange due to a charging cable just over a year old falling apart, I received an email advising the charging cable purchased through them did not have a 3 year warranty. I had to screen shot their own information as clarification that it did. I was then advised that the cable they sold me was not purchased from the company they previously had thought it was, so I received another email advising they would need to investigate the issue. After a number of weeks I have been advised the cable falling apart is down to wear and tear conveniently, this cable is just over 12 months old. The charging point is also falling off my wall, when I a year ago, I was advised my render was not a problem for the installation, I now realise they just wanted the money and really didn’t care about the quality or aftercare. Very disappointing.

Electric car charger installation

There were problems with the electric car charger installation where the wallpaper and ceiling were damaged due to the electrician using a heavy drill that scraped the walls/ceiling - requiring re-decoration later on at my own expense. The trunking installed on the ceiling had heavy cables inside causing the trunking to droop down and had to be sealed back up securely at my own expense. The invoice sent was incorrect and not the solution that was installed. After speaking to the firm, the correct invoice was sent which was then paid. No compensation was provided for the damages despite emails, photographs and lengthy conversations regarding the matter with the company.

FANTASTIC

FANTASTIC. Absolute game changers. I had all but given up on getting an honest quote for an EV charger and getting it installed before the 31st March for the government grant. However Future Charging Solutions saved the day when the phoned me after I filled out their contact form. They had spaces and weren't ripping off people to get the government grant. Unlike many other electricians we got quotes from who had obviously inflated their prices to gain extra from the government grant.

Their customer service team were in touch the following day. Applied to our energy board and got all the necessary information/approval within a matter of days. They guided me through the information they needed from me for company cars and then got an install date booked once they had everything in place.

The installer messaged me the night before to give me a install arrival time and even kept me up to date on the day when he was slightly delayed due to traffic. Having a nine month old to look after I was unable to give him much attention but he just got on with the job at hand and even tidied up after himself. Then he proceeded to give me a demonstration before heading off.

I must say I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the company. They were easy, quick and very professional. I would highly recommend them.
