Swopping a lightning-struck Hormann Supramatic 3 for the later version 4, whilst approaching my eightieth birthday, appeared somewhat daunting. I bought a garage door controller which arrived next day. I had a problem with a photocell safety beam (Not bought from GDL ) GDL responded to e-mail queries promptly even on a weekend .

Sent me a relay for Horman door. Terminal block wouldn’t take wires. Wouldn’t refund me and accused me of damaging it. Avoid this company. 😡

Great customer service - I was unsure about which remote control I needed and Liz in the office advised me. I was also unsure about the reprogramming process and certainly didn’t want to start taking covers off the controller. I was reassured by Liz that it was easy but was given the number of a local garage door specialist in case my friendly electrician couldn’t do it - he did it - but I’ve kept the number of the specialist for future reference, if ever needed. Although only purchasing a remote control, I felt like a valued customer, as Liz responded promptly and professionally to my queries. Delivery, once ordered was fast - ordered Wednesday delivered Friday. Thank you.

Saved myself a fortune by ordering parts for my garage door through GDP who were absolutely brilliant. I made a mistake with quantity when ordering which they resolved no problem, would definitely recommend this company to anyone, superb service.

Struggled years to locate any springs at for our 1980s Garador . Found GDP online who had the exact correct springs in stock. Ordered and arrived this morning , hooked them on in 5 mins and our door now works like new again!

I had a garage door which opened itself randomly. GarageDoorPartsUK were very helpful, and suggested replacing the button ribbon on the control unit, which fixed the problem perfectly, while other companies just said buy a whole new control unit!

Excellent and prompt service even over a bank holiday weekend. Product delivered ahead of expectations - given I ordered it just prior to the bank holiday weekend and was exactly as described+the explanation that my existing door controller was now obsolete and the replacement was designed to work as the original, which it did. Provided practical tips how to pair the controller and door mechanism and confirmed my Wife's original controller would remain compatible. I thoroughly recommend this company easy to deal with and very helpful, good value for money.

I had great difficulty in identifying the correct replacement spring for my 45 year old garage door. The original manufacturer was unable to help but GDP was incredibly patient with me and after a series of communications identified just what was required. Delivered quickly and fitted by myself. Door now operates better than I can ever remember.

I required a replacement key fob for my garage door.I wasn’t sure what type it was so I sent photos of the key fob and the controller by email. The reply was immediate advising me what to order which I did.
The key fob arrived with programming instructions which I followed and 10 minutes later the key fob was operational.
The service was excellent and I highly recommend this Company.

What a great Company,.... I needed to replace a garage door spring, A local Company wanted £700.00 to replace it for me!!, I phoned many spare spring companies, but they were not helpful ...GDP asked for pictures of spring and door fitting, and found the spring I needed, I purchased a pair for £50. easy to fit myself ....Ist Class customer Service....

Did not have a remote for garage door on new home I had moved to. Managed to source a remote from GDL unfortunately it would not work. GDL work out what remote was required credited me straight away and supplied a new remote that works great. Excellent service and very helpful, would recommend.

We had a whole range of issues trying to find a remote for our old Marantec garage door. GDP were excellent from the outset responding promptly to queries and liaising directly with Marantec when we couldn't get the new receiver to work. Would highly recommend.
