Don't be fooled into ordering plants from here. Having just opened my order for £75 worth of plants I was completely dissatisfied. Plants were thrown into a box loose. Rhododendrons snapped one doesn't even have a live spring left. Pieris little more than cuttings. If I saw them in a garden centre for 50p I'd just walk by. Camellia not much bigger. I wouldn't buy any of them if I'd seen them first. A complete con.

Straightforward, delivered exactly what was ordered in decent quality packaging. From ordering yo delivery in less than a week. Top service I’ll definitely use them again.

Ordered 3 taxus baccata fastigiata off gardens4you and could not fault them,was surprised they were coming from holland,when looked at tracker.came with in 4 days.and were great quality.The delivery company DPD were very good gave a time and were within 10 minutes of time give.would recommend

Gardens4you are FAB! This is the second time I’ve bought some plants from them, and the second time I’m leaving a five star review.

I placed an order for a collection of nine Erica carneas on Monday of this week. They turned up today, just four days later. What makes it even more impressive, in these difficult times, is that they came from the Netherlands!

The Ericas were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. All nine were thriving. The plants hadn’t suffered any adverse affects whilst in transit. I planted them out in pots outside straightaway and they look terrific!

All in all another great showing from Gardens4you. I recommend them highly!

Ordered numerous plants, shrubs very small and quality very poor, however, when customer service contacted and photos sent, they dealt with the complaint very quickly and refunded my PayPal account, such a shame the plants are such poor quality, unfortunately will not be ordering from them again

Just spent more than £50 on a couple of pieris plants and some heathers.
They did arrive as scheduled and in good condition, although at first sight the box seemed a bit small...perhaps a part order?
For the money we expected the plants to be a lot bigger, most turned out to be 3in plants in a 9in pot! Very poor value for money, time will tell if they survive.
Should have checked Trustpilot first!

Just received my plant order very disappointed with what was sent. Magnolias look diseased and damaged, hosts and other plants sent in packets dried out ( these were advertised as in pots), none of the plants look like the advertised photos. I have sent email to company regarding my disappointment so hopefully they will be in touch soon. Would not buy from this company again.

Bought 3 plants which arrived in good time and were well packaged with the soil still damp and no damage to the plants.

Ordered 5 plants. All arrived promptly with plastic bags securely over the pots to prevent losing soil from the pots whilst in transit.
Very small plants (read descriptions as it tells you how big pots are) but better than I expected. However the Burning Bush I ordered had bent and broken stems. Emailed them and they sent replacement with no hassle.
Seems cheap, but for the sizes they work out expensive, look like they will all thrive and grow.

Bought three clematis, two arrived looked ok the other one looked slightly less healthy, two have thrived but the third has just not taken, tried everything, have emailed via website and customer services email address but have had no response whatsoever, I tried calling but it just asks you to email. I wont be buying from them again.

This was very bad experience I had to send them lots of emails supported with images that the plants were delivered broken trunk and they were not as described on the advert finally decided to refund one only! I had to send more than 10 emails to A customer service called Adele And they seemed not bothered finally I had to open a PayPal case to get fully refunded keep away from this seller!!
I have purchased a standard camellia and they sent me one broken trunk which was creating a new side branch when I asked them this won’t be fully grown straight as a standard tree, guess what was their answer
“ I'm certain it won't grow always in one direction.” Standard tree won’t grow always in one direction, do you know what does it mean a standard tree 🤔.

Have to say I was a bit worried having read reviews but so far so good. Placed order on 13/05/2020 and plants have arrived today 17/05/2020. Very pleased with service. Plants look ok considering they've been in a box and travelling. Looking forward to planting. Hopefully all will be good.

very unimpressed with my over all experience

four of the plants out of five where not fit to be sold, so I complained which took forever to get hold of them then it was email tennis for days as they kept asking for various information all of which I had sent via various previous emails, anyway when they did eventually refund its about a tenner short! So the value of the planets damaged was about £29.00 they refunded £20.00 such a disgrace do not buy off them the plants are so tiny its ridiculous they are really badly packaged plants tipped on their sides the plants had branches snapped squashed foliage brown leaves !! poor quality really bad customer service rubbish refund avoid !

I sent an email of complaint but I'm awaiting a reply!
I placed an order for my elderly fathers birthday. Trying to cheer him up through this pandemic.
The flowers arrived promptly and well packaged. The delivery driver was most helpful.
However some plants were broken and some dying.( they were in my fathers words bone dry). A few days on after trying to nurse them on, more have died.
Gave the company a chance to remedy this before posting a negative review but unfortunately that hasn't happened.
Would have been a 1 star had it not been for the helpful delivery driver and quick delivery. I also bought bare root plants maybe we will have more luck with them.
Very disappointing! Would not recommend.

Bought 8 plants from them. None of them survived. 5 died within a week. I used compost and liquid fertilizer to revive them, but I think the soil is of the worst quality. Waste of money.

Received plants in healthy and green condition. All labelled well. The plants look a little droopy on arrival but just needs some water. Bulbs arrived in small packages and look okay but haven't soaked them in water to check. I was sceptical as I had never bought plants online at all. But decided to risk it and I am happy. Few reviews on my research had mention that they were unhappy that they received roots in bag and not plants pictured as shown on their website. It is clearly mentioned on the item if it is sold as plants in pots or bare roots or bulbs, so guess people have just not paid enough attention. I found the experience quite straight forward and luck enough with transportation as well. Fingers crossed they take well to my garden once planted.

Ordered three trees, never turned up. Sent a mail and got a response two days later saying they are going to ignore all emails sent and email again.

They are overwhelmed with complaints and can deal with the orders. Avoid at all costs. Terrible.

If I could give less stars I would - absolutely dreadful plants half dead and nothing like what is shown - an utter disgrace and when requesting a full refund THEY decide what they want to give you back!! - went through PayPal to get a partial refund. It implies this is a UK based company but it isn’t it is from the Netherlands - I believe this to be deceitfully and fraudulent - avoid like the plague.

In reply to their comment - you use a UK email which IMPLIES you are UK based - irrespective of this your plants are disgusting and in no way reflect your advertising - look long and hard at the reviews on this site!!!!!

Although it says Gardens4you.ie, all the plants are sent from the Netherlands. MIne arrived 9 days after I ordered them and they were either dead or dying. I don't think they were even good quality to start with. They bore no resemblance to the magnificent photos on their website. I had to send photos (not that easy) and even then it took a long time to get a refund which came in two payments. In these difficult times gardening is one thing we can do so my disappointment with all the dead and withered plants is understandable. My advice is that you should check that the plants your are ordering are being posted from somewhere local even if they originate from further afield. That way there is less likelihood of them arriving dead and useless.
