Impossible to recommend this company
I ordered a standard lavender stoechas and a eucalyptus. The lavender was CONSIDERABLY smaller than advertised, looked nothing like a tree or bush, just a little stick with a tiny tuft of wilting leaves on the top; the eucalyptus was a pathetic twig with leaves already turning black.
Naturally I complained about the gross misrepresentation and my fears that the plants were not healthy, was plied with excuses, asked to send photos, which I did, and eventually offered a partial refund of 50%. I declined - I wanted to return the plants and get a full refund. The company was very much against this (presumably because they would then have not only to pay for return postage, but also refund mine). They then offered me a 60% refund, telling me the plants were still guaranteed for a year and that the eucalyptus at least was very hardy and they were sure it would thrive once replanted.
I wanted to be reasonable and fair, so agreed to the partial refund (minus shipping of course).
The lavender, as expected, did not thrive and was dead within a week or so of going outdoors, despite being carefully placed in a protected position. The eucalyptus has remained indoors so I can tend it as it still looks too fragile to go outdoors just yet. It does not look healthy, most of the leaves are now badly discoloured.
I would never order from this company again and feel others should be warned against using it and ending up as disappointed as me.
(Update) In response to Gardens4You's reply: they make a valid point, in that I ordered trees but received tiny, half-dead twigs (now completely dead). Of course I didn't expect lavender to be in flower in November (and I have had plenty of experience with both plants thanks) - but if this is only dormant, it will take a miracle of biblical proportions for it to wake up! So much for this company's non-existent guarantees. My advice remains exactly the same - buyers beware and avoid Gardens4You.

Before the Brexit kicked in
Before the Brexit kicked in, I used to order plants from here, and I have only a good experience from them. Only once I had to ask for refund as DPD ignored sign fragile and must have played football with my poor plant. Refund was issued and they apologised, although they werent at fault at all. All plants from them apart the one mentioned are still alive wherever outside or inside , so the quality is top as well!
They are still taking money from UK customers when they can't deliver.
They are still taking money from UK customers then emailing to say due to brexit we can't deliver so we have to refund.
Here's a simple solution, stop selling through your UK domain if you can't deliver on a product. Or put something on your website to stop people having to go through this. I don't want to here your excuses it's unacceptable. Looking through the other reviews some of the replies from your company are just plain rude.
Just a suggestion but you could also do with hiring people who have experience in customer services I've never seen anything like it!

Really poor product
Really poor product, not as described, and very argumentative when you ask for a replacement/refund. Quick delivery, but packing was 90% air - the plant itself was tiny (much smaller than described).

FANTASTIC PRODUCT & SERVICE
I am shocked to read such poor reviews!
I received a fantastic service, order was placed on Tuesday evening and it arrived Friday morning.
I was regularly informed of the status of the delivery. The customer service team are very quick at responding to any queries over email. The item was well packed and item as described.
I definitely recommend and will look forward to using Gardens4you again!
Thank you
Avoid gardens4you.co.uk at all costs
I ordered Picea pungens Hoopsii on 2nd December 2020 (order #1-498541) from gardens4you.co.uk. The specimen I received was not as I was hoping for. It was a very small, gnarled seedling with a crushed, deformed top and a side branch cut off. The customer service representatives refused to admit that they sent me the poor quality specimen. To make things worse they informed me that all the returns should be sent to Netherlands! The question is: why the supplier’s name is gardens4you.co.uk? I would suggest to other potential customers to bear in mind that if you are unhappy with your order you will pay a fortune returning it back. Besides, I have found out that it was impossible to leave a feedback on this website due to the fact that I was provided with the disabled link. In conclusion, poor service. Avoid at all costs.

Misleading description
Although I bought 'Nordmann Christmas Tree 175/200cm sawn' I received a shorter one '160/180' as per the delivery note. Nontheless, quality/price ratio is still great. Quick delivery, the tree was packed well.

Well packaged
Well packaged, plants are healthy and beautiful... :) another happy customer here :highly recommended.
A thoroughly disappointing shopping experience
I bought a pink orchid to give to someone as a present. The plant arrived with the planting material loose in the box and with several flowers broken off and all but one of the remaining flowers "droopy" (this is the word used by customer relations when I sent them a photo). Four days later the "droopy" flowers are falling off. As the plant had no flower buds which would open I felt unable to give it as a present. Disappointing. Customer service offered to enter into a bartar refund, their first offer was 20%. I have found the whole process objectionable.
Having read your reply which I found to be incorrect and patronising. A month later the plant has just one small flower on its three flowering stems. The whole point of buying a flowering orchid is that it should be delivered flowering and in good condition - I don't want "to wait 3 months for it to recover".

Bought a Serbian Spruce on Sunday it…
Bought a Serbian Spruce on Sunday it was advertised as 140cm... I've been looking at this for around a week and it's been 140cm! So I placed my order to find a few days after that the listing had changed to 90cm! way smaller than it was on Sunday when I bought it! I've emailed and they have lied to say that nothing has changed! I'm not blind and I no one I saw on Sunday when i bought this tree! Plus they have a bigger tree and the same tree for 15.95! when I paid 26.95 for this! it's not even a great tree either nothing like the picture which makes it look bigger! this was my first time ordering from gardens4you and my last! what an awful company! I will be making a dispute with paypal.

Terrible online service
Terrible service! I've tried at least 5 times to purchase plants today but the website keeps emptying my basket, and the site does not allow you to re-enter the same plant in the basket! Completely rubbish!!

Brilliant customer service
I ordered 24 Choisya ternate Sundance and 5 packs of Lavender angustifolié Hidcote to plant up a garden border. The plants arrived quickly but, unfortunately, had been badly shaken during transit resulting in 5 of the Choisya plants being unusable.
Customer Services were brilliant, when I emailed to report the damage (with photos), they immediately offered to discount on the damaged plants with a full refund if they didn’t recover, however I felt the plants were broken beyond recovery and so they have been replaced.
Order placed 23rd October - order completed 30th October. Brilliant!
Great bulbs
Have received 3 very healthy Amaryllis bulbs, very quick delivery and well packed. Helpful information provided on successful growing and care. Happy customer.
I won't buy plants of that quality
pics & descriptions are fancy on their website. But the plants delivered are rotten & moldy. I recall similar reviews from other users so this is reoccurring, fair to be a warning sign for other buyers.

Climbing rose
Received my climbing rose when promised. I was delighted with it well packed and even had buds on which was a surprise . It is now very happy in my garden looking good.
Excellent service.
When ordering online, you are a bit apprehensive, especially with Plants and bulbs. When you do not receive a part of the order, or receive unwanted/unsolicited plants/bulbs, it is a nightmare to return them. I shared this nightmare experience on trust pilot, from gardening express, where they asked for photographic evidence and despite sending them, kept mum .
But, Gardens4you,thanks to their wonderful customer service, immediately contacted me and replaced the missing order within days. Loyalty and a heartfelt thanks is the only way that can repay them. I highly recommend their services.
This is a terrible company who sent DEAD PLANTS
This is a terrible company who sent us DEAD HEATHER! I took photos and they said plant them anyway and they will recover.
Now they are pretending it was the way I planted them that killed them!
Their guarantee is a scam, they are rude and disgusting scammers. AVOID THEM THEY ARE A DUMPING GROUND FOR DEAD STOCK.
*EDIT* they did eventually say they would refund us, but you can see from all the one-star reviews on trustpilot that they pull this stunt with everyone. It was extremely distressing to be blamed for killing plants that were dead and dying when they arrived. Luckily we took photos and video. If you are game to try these people, photograph the delivery!!!!
