I purchase the Ty Pennington Sierra …

I purchase the Ty Pennington Sierra replacements cushions for my patio set and put them on my furniture this spring. These are the worst cushions ever. The quality of the fabric color is nothing like the original. I got years out of the original cushions before they faded. Within 2 months the cushions had faded terribly. Do yourself a favor and just purchase an entire new patio set. I paid 1/2 the price of what the furniture (entire set) cost new for these cushions. I'll be lucky if these cushions make it through one season. My furniture is on a covered patio and don't sit in the weather and they still aren't lasting.

Terrible cheaply made but expensive …

Terrible cheaply made but expensive product!! Didn't even last a whole summer before the seams started to tear and completely unusable now. For how expensive it is we are better off buying a brand new gazebo then to get these cheaply made covers we will have to replace after one summer

Horrible Customer Service

Garden Winds customer service is the absolute WORST! After sending two email and getting no response, "I" had to call to get any kind of answers concerning their defective products (acknowledged by their customer service). Garden Winds handling of defective products, which they make, is unacceptable! I don't know how they've stayed in business! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!

low quality replacement canopy at high quality price

I recently purchased a replacement canopy from Garden Winds for what I consider a fair amount of money, the customer service was great but unfortunately the product was not. when the box was delivered it was very light and after inspecting I found he material looked and felt like a shower curtain liner, I paid close to 200 dollars for an item that should have retailed for 50 to 75

Do not buy their Replacement Canopy for …

Do not buy their Replacement Canopy for Somerset Gazebo - RipLock 350 $159.99. Its ships in beige, the original was grey! They charge freight plus $10 freight to return a beige canopy. The correct canopy available at Big Lots on line...lower price $119.99 and free freight....Side panels are available there at 119.99 as well.

Reading all the negative reviews

Reading all the negative reviews, I agree in part, but they did provide me good service recently. Purchased a replacement canopy in 2011 and used it for 5 years. Fit perfectly and was of better quality than the original. I ordered a replacement last fall, for the new riplock fabric. It was on sale in the fall, and I had a good experience before, so I didn't worry that I wouldn't be able to install it until the next spring, after the 30 day return period was over. When trying to install it this spring, it was too small in all dimensions by an inch or so. Could not install it. While trying (maybe I could force it?), it started to rip a bit. I don't recommend that new fabric! Called Garden Winds - they could see my past orders and since the purchase was within a year, (and maybe because I was a repeat customer?), they offered to send me an 'open box' canopy of the fabric I used previously and was satisfied with, for $10. I expected a fight, but they were pleasant and helpful. Said they had no other sizing complaints like mine (surprising, or I just was the 'lucky' one who got a defective item?). In any event, I'm pleased with the resolution and expect the canopy they send me will fit properly like the last one did.

DON'T PURCHASE PATIO CUSHIONS FROM HERE!

I had inexpensive patio cushions from Walmart for 10 years before I decided to replace them. I purchased Garden winds cushions for two lounge chairs and a small bench seat and the total was a staggering $700.00!! Okay, I am willing to pay as these must be really premium cushions. So they arrived 3 months later and looked really nice. HOWEVER, within three months of having them on a covered patio, they stated to get black mold on them. I contacted Garden Winds via there customer service email and never heard back. Did it again in the spring and they never contacted me back. Finally called and was told I am out of luck as my warranty was only for six months. So now I am stuck with super expensive cushions that I cannot use. The customer service person said she was a supervisor and was no help at all. DO NOT PURCHASE CUSHIONS FROM HERE!!! They are not water proof and get dirty easily and in addition, seem to have an issue with mold growing on them that will not come out.

I would give zero stars as that is what …

I would give zero stars as that is what this product deserves! The replacement canopy says universal but does not fit -- it is poorly designed. Their image shows one type of attachment (shower ring type netting attachment) but in reality it is a zipper attachment which is totally impractical. They advertise themselves as Garden Winds Canada but have absolutely no ties to Canada - no manufacturing, no shipping, no customer service...so with my purchase of $200 US it cost me $50 shipping plus another $50 to ship the product back!! Ridiculous.

Never never buy from this company!

Garden Winds gets an average review …

Garden Winds gets an average review based on the positive experience we had ordering our first replacement canopy from them. The second experience included everything from a promise of shipment in a week from the order to an e-mail correcting the shipment to a back order with a 30 day wait time to a e-mail notice that the back order had been extended to late summer (July 30th). We chose to cancel the order only to find ourselves confronted with a disclaimer telling us we couldn't cancel the order as the order had been shipped and a e-mail giving us the tracking number was being sent. Calling the company and questioning the representative on the issue we were told the disclaimer was incorrect and that the cancelation would be honored via yet another e-mail. When these folks get it right they get it right but..when they get it wrong it's epic.

Look for a more reputable company!!!

Look for a more reputable company to buy from......
I entered product number from my canopy on Garden Wind site. Their site suggested several options, I ordered and they sent the wrong size. I paid shipping to get the wrong product and paid shipping to return it. They refused to credit me charges for their error. Buy local, I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not understand customer service 101.. If you use them, be prepared to lose about $20.00... When I returned the canopy, I sent pictures of the canopy I have and product number. Also, included a note to send what I needed.. They didn't want to correct wrong. I would have place another order and pay for shipping charges again. They stole from once, but not giving them a second chance and suggest using another canopy supplier.

Terrible Customer Service

We purchased a replacement canopy and netting from this company this summer. Based upon our dimensions and the description online, we hoped it would fit properly. Once out of the box and on the canopy, it was clear that the description did not match the product fully and it was not going to be usable. After taking removing the canopy cover, carefully brushing it and repackaging it, we mailed it back (with the never opened netting) and paid for UPS delivery back. They refused to refund us, claiming it was "damaged and faded." We even contacted our credit card company to get a refund and they still responded with the above mentioned statement. We are very disappointed in this company and its products and customer service. We are not without a product, and $168 plus another UPS charge to return the product. Since we inspected the product before returning it, we have a very hard time believing it was "damaged and faded" -- and based on other reviews, it seems that this company has less than stellar customer service; it feels like a racket.

Moldy Canopy #2

We had 3 canopy's from this company.1 which was torn and 2 of which mold started to grow on. The first one that we had mold on we contacted them and they sent us another one, and now that one has mold growing on it and they are basically telling us that they cannot offer us a replacement or refund as this is a warranty canopy. Well if you know that you are having problems with mold on your Canopy's then why are you still selling them? We are in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau due to them selling this products and knowing that there is an issue with mold. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Garbage Product

I should have read the reviews before spending $250 on the riplock canopy. Three of the corner gromets came off the second time I installed it. In other words, the canopy lasted one season! I just called customer service and they told me that any of their canopy covers are designed to only last 2 or 3 seasons!! The entire gazebo cost me $400. I spent $250 believeing the canopy would last longer than the original. The original one last three years. Absolute garbage. Do not buy from this company.

poor service!

Just so everyone knows...the color of your original item will NOT match the new items they make. My patio cushions were not even close. They do not offer any assistance on a special rate to ship back, even when I wanted to exchange for a better color. I am totally willing to pay to toreturn the items, but they would not help with their corporate rates or offer any other suggestion. So, to ship cushions in the 3 oversized boxes they use would cost over $350-400 via UPS or FEdex...my set was ony $535 to begin with. SO...you better be sure you are getting exactly what you want, because its too expensive to send back!!

Replacement netting was defective and they won't replace it!

Since our original purchase we have replaced the Canopy twice and the Netting once. On 6/2/10 we ordered the replacement canopy and netting set. At the time of receipt we only installed the canopy since it was ripped and the netting was still in fair condition. The new netting stayed in the box and in our storage for several years. On 5/1/14 we ordered another replacement canopy. We still had the new netting in the box in storage. We received the new canopy on 5/3/14 just in time for a birthday party the next day. We decided to install both the recently received canopy and netting received 6/2/10. However, we found that the netting was defective. The corner tiebacks were too small to connect around the columns and the plastic rings were too small to snap shut around the net grommets. After only 2 years we again need a new canopy and thought we could resolve the old netting issue. I attached the two replacement orders for reference and also photos for review. I offered to send the netting back so they could see the problem with the netting. We are ready to order and spend $159.99 for a new canopy. We just asked them to send the netting free of charge or extend a discount. The fact is, Garden Winds advertised and sold a product that is the wrong size for our Gazebo. Regardless of the short warranty or the time lapse we are left with a $60 netting product that cannot be hung with the plastic rings sent or tied back to the columns. Garden Winds does not care about the quality of their product or about their customers! They will do nothing. Their prices are high and the quality is low. Bad customer service and management!!!

misleading discounts with link to company and denial from Garden Winds

Garden winds has Dealspotr showing discounts linked to signing up for their emails but once you sign up the discount is not offered. after speaking to their sales rep. and the manager both deny any recognition or association with this site but when asked then how did i get linked and signed up to your mailing list they had no explanation . This is clearly car sales tactics .To me this shows a lack of credibility in the company marketing group and possibly higher up if this tactic is allowed to continue.

My riplock canopy by Garden Winds ripped taking it off after the season was over

Riplock is a ripoff. My canopy looked great, but a huge tear occurred while taking it off. I find that all canopy replacements are junk also. They don't fit right and the cheap pockets for the rods always tear. But this 8" long tear happened above the pocket area. We are always so careful with our canopies, but this one was the worst for durability. No reason for it to rip.

Junk product and they don't seem to care!

I bought a replacement gazebo cover in Dec 2014 ... it's been completely destroyed in less than a year with the first winter winds (NOT a storm ... just normal winds) ... rip free whatever technology doesn't do you a bit of good (even if it did work) when the fastening straps break and stretch to 5x's their normal length ...

She offered me a less-than-10% discount if I ordered another ... but only if I sent them pictures ... blah, blah, blah ...

6 month warranty ... for a product they say should last for 3 ... that'll tell you something.
