I live high in the Rocky Mountains, so keeping warm is essential. I bought a Super Splitter Maul and a Professional Splitting Maul and could not be happier with my purchase. They are both fantastic mauls. They pair very well as the Super Splitter is a 6lb head for your more stubborn knotty wood and the 4lb head of the Professional Splitter is better for swinging for longer periods of time on less difficult wood although it is capable of splitting some pretty nasty wood itself. They will definitely help keep the fire going. Garrett Wade is awesome, if you ever have a problem with your order, make sure to let them know and they will be quick to resolve your issue. ordered several items from Garrett Wade, fast shipping. The box arrived damaged from transport and the smallest item appeared to have fallen out of the outer shipping box. Contacted customer service, answered a couple questions and they promptly sent the replacement item. Very polite and thorough support system. Will order again

After sending me a defective accordion, I contacted customer service and got a return label. Garrett Wade is now not sending me a refund. I used their return label, and tracking shows they received it December 12th. I still do not have a refund. Don’t buy from them, they do not provide good customer service, they send non working items, and then they don’t refund purchase price. As part of the return, they took out a restocking fee (for a non working item). Buyer beware.

A few days before Christmas my daughter opened the package I sent for her husband from Garrett Wade (GW). She took pictures of what was in the package which included a shipping label to another address and the incorrect tool for her husband. I asked for more pictures so I could contact Garrett Wade customer service to explain the mistake. Working with the GW representative, we were able to secure a new order for his gift and set up return of the incorrect gift. On Christmas Eve, my daughter advised me that her husband's gift had been delivered. Excellent service!!
Really cheap handle on the garden knife that I ordered. I never tried the quality of the blade because the thing looked like such a piece of garbage that I returned it immediately. Further, there was absolutely no communication from the company about the status of my order; I ordered on the 15th and it was delivered on 29 December.

Never received the items I ordered. Received an item I did not order. Contacted customer service and was asked to send in a photo of the mailing label and the item I received, which I did. Received subsequent emails asking for the same information. I am resolved that they have no intention of correcting their mistake.

Please do not buy from them. There are multiple reasons I will never order from them again. I ordered a child’s accordion from them and it arrived broken. We got a return label and they charged a restocking fee! For a broken item! The packaging was in pristine condition, it was not broken in shipment, it was just not made properly. 3 weeks later, still no refund. So not only did they ship out a broken product, they charged me to return it.And I doubt I will ever see the refund.

I ordered a gift for my spouse from here. It was supposed to be a gift for the first night of Hanukkah. I ordered it with 2-3 day shipping on 12-9. It took them 3 days just to ship it, and then they shipped it regular ground, despite charging me about $25 for the expedited shipping. I made a complaint on Wednesday through their web portal, and received an automated email that said someone would respond in 24 hours. That was 4 days ago and I’ve heard nothing. I still haven’t received the item. It’s now 12-21. It has been 12 days.

They are really terrible in customer care. Promised shipping by a date certain and its 5 days later and they still have not shipped. Called two times. Have asked for a manager to call me - they promised, but never call me back. This is not a company I would do any business with in the future....ever.

I was going to order from this company but the people I talked to were very hard to understand and my CC company flagged my card because the the site seemed suspicious, whatever that means so I didn’t order. I then checked the company because I used them around 2021 and never spoke to a foreign speaking person. After much digging I saw it is now owned by a private equity firm so I can’t imagine trying to get a problem resolved. I didn’t and won’t use this this company ever again.

I ordered a lug wrench tool from them on December 2nd (which I'm still waiting for) , but the main reason for this is the fact that they offered a 10 dollar discount, they sent the code, at checkout it said invalid code, notified customer service, no response

If I could've left 0 stars I would have. Their catalogue contains false advertising and when I tried to rectify this misunderstanding I couldn't get anywhere. So beware of this before ordering,I'll personally NEVER order from this retailer EVER again.

I recently made a purchase on a Sunday. Had to cancel it by Monday. Assumed as is almost always the case these days that it "was in the system" and would have to ship and be returned. Pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case. Customer service (real person - thank you Rene!) was very helpful and with 30 minutes of my email requesting cancelation had it resolved favorably. Service was exceptional. Seems I was connected to an actual human being who assessed the situation and took action that was customer-oriented, nit system driven. Refreshing! Based on this transaction I will absolutely be making purchases from Garrett Wade in the future.

Garrett Wade is one of the most trustful online companies there is. I had some items missing from my shipment and they helped get them to me. They are honest and thoughtful, and very courteous. They carry quality products at reasonable prices that you can't easily find anywhere else. They have a great catalog, both online and printed. #1 online retailer for me!
Convinced this is a Chinese front company selling junk. Basically undercover TEMU. What got me skeptical was a silly little tool that you pierce into the ground, step on a lever and it is supposed to pull the plant out by the roots. The concept seems simple until you realize the mechanical complexity of stepping down on a lever and making something close... it doesn't happen. The thing opens as you would expect which means it won't pull anything. This is just Chinese junk getting a front company that may have had a rich tradition of providing quality.
