BLEND Localization Reviews 

I've been working for Blend for a year and I've never been happier with a translation company than I am now.
The services we provide are in line with the values we receive, and often even above the current average.
As a translator, I see the company always treating us with great seriousness, respect and helping us whenever possible.
So far I've only had good experiences with both my manager and the clients I've worked with, as well as the platform itself.

* Translators are forced to pay a fee to get a fast payment, and even so, PAYMENTS GET DELAYED for more than a week.
* Company's new policy is to populate MTPE projects with awful TM content, leading to translators getting twice work for half the price.
* More and more translators are forced to use their Workbench infested with glitches & bugs..... a giant waste of time & problems creator for translators.
* Company's new policy is to lower rates on long projects (more than 500 words) usually transforming them into MTPE or splitting them into several very tiny ridiculous projects of 10, or 5 or 3 words to pay translators less & less.
* Support doesn't have tools nor knowledge nor will to solve any issue at all. Support it's useless to users, they are only to defend UNETHICAL company's new policies.
* Awful forum, filled with rants & complaints from translators worried about all these issues unsolved that nobody on staff seems to care. Staff rotation is constant without translators being notified. Moderators only care about banning translators that dare to express their minds.

No wonder they were banned on Proz.

After hearing about them from 2 other professionals, I used BLEND's localization service a couple of times already and I was very happy with the service. I translated several reports and presentations and the communications with the team was very easy, they delivered the materials just on time and I got some feedback that the quality was great as well. I will use it again for sure.

I've been working with BLEND for over 7 years. As a translator, the experience has been nothing but positive. The system for accepting and completing projects works well, and the team takes care of all the client relationships. Translators only need to focus on one thing: translate. When there have been issues, the team has responded in a quick and friendly manner. Recently, there was a change in management that has brought more transparency and openness to the agency, which is something truly welcome. My experience has been great, and everything indicates that it will continue to be so.

I am one of the many translators Blend has around the world. We are all native speakers of the languages we represent. As a professional translator for decades, the year 2017 marked the starting point of my experience with Blend. These past few years with Blend have become some of the best years of my career. Blend is like a robust athlete with a well-built posture and muscles, who provides an ideal platform environment for us the translators to deliver the best works for our clients. I had an excellent experience with my translation request. I had multiple bank statements which needed to be translated from French to English along with the conversion of Euros to US Dollars. These documents were part of the underwriting conditions for my first-time homebuyer clients. I received quick turn time of less than 4 hours of very detailed financial figures. I have recommended One Hour Translation to all the loan officers and processors in my company. I was more than pleased with the service. The translator took time to ask me questions and make sure everything was done to satisfy the underwriter's conditions. 5 Stars for sure!
