A very useful app

A very useful app. I have made over $500 using Upside. Sometimes the offers don’t go through and you have to contact support, but they usually get it right.

Satisfied with Upside

I am pretty much satisfied with Upside, except for the fact that you cannot receive cashbacks unless you are using Visa or Mastercard, which I do have; but I also have a flex card I would like to add since this is how I buy a majority of my groceries. I am happy to say I did receive a one-time courtesy cashback, but I would like to be able to add this card to my wallet also.

I love this app!!!!

I love this app!!!!! I’ve been using it for way over a year and I’ve earned over $200. I always cash out to my bank account.
Most of my purchases are at Circle K and Dominos pizza. Where else can you get freshly ground & brewed coffee for less than $2 and get 24-30 cents back. (Circle K). Even can take advantage of Dominos deals and still get 6% back on the purchase. Even when I have a hiccup on a rebate they have resolved it within a day. I use it as much as I can. Still doesn’t offer rebates for non-ethanol gas yet.

I love upside! I earn on groceries and gas. My lifetime earnings is over $600. When I noticed I didn't get a reward upside support was easy to deal with and credited my account!

I only fuel at circle k and for some…

I only fuel at circle k and for some reason they don’t do there part on submitting the information to the app. So I have to keep all my invoices and submit them through emails so that up side can review them and be able to process them.

Easy cashback for what you're gonna buy anyway!

I have been using upside for 3 years now and I LOVE it!! Such an easy way to get cashback PLUS it let's me see all the prices for gas in the area so I can pick the cheapest on any given day. Theres one gas station in particular I've had problems with the past year so I try not to go there if I can help it. But I just keep the receipt if I have to go there and support will push it right thru. Contacting support is quick and easy too.

great app if you want to fight for your money

Earning cash back should be entirely automatic, and having to constantly fight for your rewards is the last thing we want.

Usually, when transactions fail to auto-process, it is because a mobile wallet like Apple Pay masked the card number, the purchase happened outside the claim window, or a receipt upload was just a bit too blurry for the system to read.

The app is great

The app is great so far the only thing I run into is that I can't fill my vehicle all the way up the first time so I end up with 2 fills. The price gets switched for the cash back every time so I have to contact to get it fixed. I don't understand why it would switch it cause the first cash back is always more than the second. I just wish it would stop switching the 2 fills for the cash back. But other than that it is amazing and works every time I click on the app and submit anything. Love it

The cash back is only hit or miss if…

The cash back is only hit or miss if the merchant doesn't report the transaction correctly. Typically, as long as you have proof of purchase and it's eligible for cash back, Upside honors it 100% of the time for me at least. It's annoying having to keep track of your transactions and that some merchants process cash back faster than others, but it's not Upsides fault. Some merchants are just lazier than others.

Easy to use and lots of good deals

Easy to use and lots of good deals. Better for use in larger cities. And customer service is good at getting back in a timely manner for occasional troubles with processing.

I have been using Upside for years

I have been using Upside for years and I'm very grateful for it, as I have already received hundreds of dollars back on my purchases. Their customer service is highly responsive. I have written to them a total of three times over the years—all within this year, because I never had any problems before then—and each time I received a response within a few hours. All three times, I contacted them about the same issue to let them know that a certain gas station became a Chevron instead of a 7-Eleven back in 2025. Each time they responded very kindly and quickly. The third time, I even sent photos, yet the station is still listed under the 7-Eleven name on the app. I blame the IT department at Upside. But I still like and use Upside because it saves me a lot of money.

Mostly pleased

I was pleased with the outcome, but would like to be able to verify that money was added. In that regard, it would be helpful to see when a cash out occurred under the activity tab. The only other comment I have is that it isn’t easy to find where to get help.
