PLEASE READ absolute charlatans. Took out finance on a Mercedes GLA the beginning of January. Due to faults with the car I didn't receive until 1st of Feb. Since we took ownership the re have been problems after problems. The (new) exhaust that they put on was causing fumes and just didn't feel right, We took to a Independent Mercedes specialist to diagnose. Upon installing his computer he identified illegal 3rd party software had been placed on the car to block faults. After the software was removed, the faults kept coming. The car was taken straight back to the dealership to advise the findings. The owner shouted through to the salesman telling us the **** off and cancel the agreement. Not what we expected al all!! Generally very aggressive and rude men!!

Its safe to say it has been reported to Trading Standards, The Finance company are also investigating this fraudulent sale.

But what can I say the car was back on sale at the dealership this weekend. The Mercedes Specialist advised that it needed in excess off £2,500 spending on it to resolve the problems.

Wow what can I say about this lot apart from dodgy in every way possible I have returned a car as so much wrong with it and now they have put it straight up for sale again and put an extra 200 on the price and the car will need 3k spending on it by some u lucky person. The salesmen never keep you up to date with what's going on also the car had blocking software on it to stop the faults showing and the original faults where not fixed just blocked (I had this checked with Mercedes to verify) when they lifted the block on the software then loads of faults came up and the big fault with the dpf came up and this was supposed to have been fitted when we brought the car as it failed it's mot on this problem but all that had been used is software blocker. To put all the stuff right on the Mercedes GLA ML67 EBN wouldn't over 3k as Mercedes need to put the software back on as they have corrupted the original

Worst experience of my life!
Bought a Ford ranger from this company BA18XHS sold with one year Mot. After 150 miles and owning only 26 days! engine started to rattle, blue smoke from exhaust multiple lights on dash I had the ministry carry out a Pre mot on vehicle to find out it had the Dpf gutted out and failed emissions multiple times dodgy Mot, I called the garage for my money back and I said the vehicle is not fit for purpose owner said it was a trade sale and laughed and I was told no refund was going to be given, after 3 months of battling they said I needed to bring the truck back for an inspection, and there response was that the 4x4 truck had been of road and that’s why it was broken, “ a pick up going of road now that’s unheard of” 🤣 I had never been of road in the truck but just goes to show they will say anything to not give you your money back I paid a garage for a full report of all known faults before the sale and had them by the balls, long story short I got my money back but what a set of tossers to deal with, now the vehicle is back up for sale probably with the same faults which some unfortunate person will buy it and make the same mistake I did please please avoid at all cost

Friendly, professional and efficient.
Getting car finance through them was a breeze, it took less than an hour.
The broker and lender were also easy to deal with.
I purchased a lovely car and had peace of mind with all the years they have been in business, the checks they put the car through, plus the car was valeted beautifully.

I found my car at G H Motors from an ad on Auto Trader. I live in Northumberland but didn’t feel I was taking any chances on my purchase due to the brilliant service I received from Eric and Chris. I was assured all checks had been done and an MOT completed. They then organised transport all hassle free. LOVE my car and would buy from them again and highly recommend them. I .having to chamgey review, as since we have purchased our car we have had to pay almost £3.5k in repairs, with yet more still needing to be sorted.
A lot of the things that habe come.to.light are tjings that should habe been highlighted in the MOT, and from what other mechanics habe informed me look like patch jobs to keep.it running till sold.
You are either so.ignorant of the mechanics you work with that they will pass anything, or you are.complacent in allowing cara to be sold that are riddled with repairs.
Such a difference from.my initial experience. They also never properly filed the change of owner paperwork which didnt come to.light until it came time to try and retax it.
The aftercare comprised of being told to contact the warraanty company, as they will deal with it.

When I got to work my tyre had blown up. So after looking around for garages I came across GH motors. When speaking to a guy on the phone which he sounded like he didn’t even want to speak to me he said he would send someone out to fix my tyre and put a replacement on. There was no price agreed partly my fault for not asking but when the guy came out and fitted it I was told that it would be £95 for him to fit my spare tyre which the garage was only 7 minutes away from my location. Later on when I looked on my bank they had actually charged me £114 to fit my tyre and not the original fee of £95.

Really impressed with the service from Eric and the team- very happy with my new car.

I visited GH motors in November 2024, with the view to buying a VW Golf GTD.
I never actually purchased the car from here, as I tried to sell my car through Motorway, but for one reason and another this never happened.....anyway that's another story!! Lol
As for the guy's at GH motors (Eric and Ash) they were extremely helpful throughout my interaction with them, very professional and really tried their best to solve my issues. I would definitely go back here in the future for a car, they are a relatively small business but I find sometimes that the bigger dealers don't have such a great personal touch like these at GH motors certainly do.
