Don't waste your time trying to…
Don't waste your time trying to integrate with their API. The actual API works fine, but they have an onerous approval process to get production keys. I can understand a higher level of scrutiny given that financial transactions are involved, but we are fully compliant. But we would have been a small account, and I guess they don't care about those.

I am a teacher and have a grant to spend money on my students. This was a great way of creating incentives for my class and students. It was a great reward system.

Amazingly fast and informative customer support
Ran into a snag redeeming a gift card as an incentives app end user and reached out to support. They updated me on the status insanely fast and I'm very impressed to get such a quick response via email support these days. I feel confident it will be resolved soon but realize my particular issue is a B2B thing outside of their control. Incredible customer service!

Easy to Use, Great Customer Service
I had a really positive experience with giftbit. I used the service to pay research participants via a Visa gift card. The platform was easy to use and the customer service was fantastic. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them to others as well.

Lowered Administrative Time Managing Rewards
Our organization had utilized a more manual type of rewards program, however; after hearing about giftbit, we thought we would give it a try. It has already helped to decrease the time that we spend sending out rewards by at least 50%.

Shady business practices
I received a prepaid Visa from a company (which I thought was great) as a referral bonus. I thought I used it, but apparently I didn't, so it expired. I never received a notification email or reminder. Giftbit could have reissued it, but chose not to, keeping the funds for themselves and leaving me in a worse position than if I never referred anyone at all. Don't use this company unless you want to disappoint your customers and enrich a shady company.

An unfortunate waste of time.
We were very optimistic about GiftBit and used the test production site to build an automation.
Unfortunately after spending the time building the test account we were basically told we wern't big enough to use their API service and that they wouldn't turn our account on.
This was very frustrating since we spent all the time to get our automation up and running just to to have our account turned down without really a good reason. One would think they would be worried about people using their service maliciously, not just because they were small.
Overall we're very frustrated with the time we wasted getting the service to work and trying to get approved to use it live. The API documentation seems good but the approval process is slow and frankly not worth it.
