Easy check out process
For the most part it was an easy check out process. However initially it would not take our American Express. I called Gigsalad and they said they fixed the issue and to try again. It did not work again. I had to have them try again and it was a simple fix of me refreshing my screen.

GigSalad is not what is seems.... it appears they can pick and choose what is their best fit or what they really want to do.... i am a retired 50% disabled Veteran (Vietnam-Desert Storm).. I want to surprise my only granddaughter (14 yr old) with a simple clown and 1 or 2 balloons at a restaurant in Port St.John.... for just 15 minutes... i even invited the entertainer to dinner.... on me... But the answers I got back was...... "I Quote... "It wasn't there fit"..... WELL EXCUSE ME.... this simple unlavished event.... hasn't even taken place yet. Think twice people before you hire from this group... "a spoiled bunch"

Vendors beware
This used to be a great platform to market your business and take bookings but now I don’t know what happened with them at the management level but they do not care about the vendors at all whatsoever they actually make it hard for you to book the event because they don’t want clients looking at your website for information that could influence them booking you.
you’re not able to send contracts anymore, or communicate off platform at all which is the biggest issue. We can’t use this platform anymore because now we can’t be safe having a contract between the client and the bartender is extremely important. Gig Salad itself tells you to make sure you have a contract in place how am I supposed to send the contract if I can’t send it to their email? Anytime I brought this up to the Gig Salad employees they refuse to take a phone call and they just send me a copy and pasted Email going over policy’s that don’t apply. I guess this is designed to make the more money in the long run but I guarantee it will have the opposite effect. We are leaving, I suggest you do the same or don’t join at all. The Bash is a much easier platform to work with and they won’t nickel and dime you like gigsalad.

Hard to navigate when you want to look at all people available in your area. I disliked having to click into each category to look at the area.
Aside from the interface, the person I booked was so kind and informative.

This is the first time using it and I have never booked talent before. I received messages in a very timely matter and they were what I was looking for. The only thing I do not like, is that I am suppose to pick one date. I was looking for a specific time line with different dates. I am a distillery and just trying to book for the rest of the summer.
