Delivered on time and well wrapped. Also with a complimentary packet of sunflowers which is much appreciated. I haven't used the product yet. However it looks fine and is in sturdy tubs very easy to open but more importantly, has a nice tight lid to keep the chemicals contained.

My favourite wood finish
I have come to love this product, I have used on wooden furniture, curtain poles, mirror surrounds. It gives amazing, durable protection with a lovely subtle sheen. Now for the bannisters I have just stripped, can’t wait to see the results

Nice kit very happy with consistency
Had a review of Axminster tools waxs and compared the value is good. Also for the price of the fine wool Yes I did want to support having watched the videos but happy to know this is good value for money. Took a jar of honey as well, perfect taste with all this fake honey on sale in shops happy to have the real thing

Improving sun bleached chairs
I needed to restore the arms and back of a pair of chairs with sun bleaching. Watched the videos on YouTube from Gilboys and ordered the starter kit. I couldn’t be happier! Great product and with very little work I have improved the chairs no end! Very happy and great product.

Brilliant
Wow, the pure gold wax smells amazing but more importantly, it brought up the wood on my 63 year old Ercol table beautifully. The grain shines through again and the colours are rich, it also feels so smooth and not dry like it did before. The sunflowers are a lovely touch, and the packaging the jar comes in is very smart and kept the jar nice and secure during transit. I thoroughly recommend gilboys waxes

The buffing brush and oil arrived the very next day after ordering. The attention to detail in the packaging and the personal touch of the "thank you" cards was a welcome bonus. The buffing brush is obviously a quality made product and will no doubt improve the wax finishing to my CNC relief carvings. I tried the oil on a small tray and I was impressed with how easy it was to apply and the finished look and feel. It is something that I will use a lot of in the future.

Superb item, before I was using a normal scraper, but this is so much better. Another great item by Gilboy!

Simon, Ian, I have decided to take Simon's advice and undertake the refurbishment of my used Parker Knoll mid century teak nest of tables over several weeks (watch this space for the end results!). Regards TB DAVIES

I live in France and there was a problem with the french customs. I cotacted Simon at Gilboys. Simon contacted me within the hr and over a couple of days sorted it out. Nothing seems to much trouble and you are always keept up to date. Awsome service and i would 100% recommend this company and will definitely be buying again from them.

The product is first class, I've used hard beeswax in the past but this is so easy to apply and buffs to a stunning finish. The kit has all you need to bring out the beauty of your furniture and wood in general. Love the business ethic too, that you can send your empties for refilling is spot on.

Really easy to apply with little to no colour change on light coloured wood.

Far more pleasant to work with compared to other hard wax oils, due to the natural orange oil solvent. I didn't get the headache that I would get after using other brands that use other solvents.

This will be my new go to finish for wood.

Love your leather? This is THE product to use
As I love my leather purse and boots/shoes, I decided to purchase this balsam as have bought the waxes previously, Antique Gold and Clear with wonderful results - to be used on furniture, that is! My purse and boots/shoes really benefited from this TLC and they feel much softer and pliable. Would certainly recommend this product as well! You won’t be disappointed!

Satin hard wax.
Love this product, gives a nice durable finish. Wish I had know about this product sooner. I use it on a multitude of furniture the latest being this room divider/drinks cabinet. Always quick delivery and attention to detail is second to none. I've had great success with all the products I've brought from gilboys. I would recommend to anyone. Also with the four products ive brought since late summer I now have four packets of sun flower seeds which we have given to family members and will have a grow the biggest sunflower competition this year helping those bees out at the same time. The speed that the trial set arrived. I’m in Australia and it was only a few days after the order was made.
It was for a gift and I have been told the was a joy to use and the smell is amazing. On Australian messmate it gives the most beautiful rich lustre. I now have to order a st of waxes for myself
