Hob ordered online quite straight forward, unfortunately they would not deliver to my area. Upon collecting hob from the store, Stuart the (store manager) who served us could not explain why our new hob was not in its original packaging? His attitude throughout our encounter with him was bordering on rudeness and arrogance in his answering to our concerns as to why this supposed brand new product was being repackaged in front of us. Adrian the online manager got involved and kindly made a small monetary discount for the debacle the Stuart had conducted . Great pity Gillmans as we will not buy from you again.

Exactly what I was replacing but larger size.

Luke, the delivery driver, was excellent.

I had a problem with the water feed to my washing machine.

Fortunately for us, the engineer was thorough and resourceful. He could have shrugged and left us without a washing machine for another week while an expensive part was ordered. Instead, he devised a solution which fixed the problem and restored our machine to full working order.

Achieving a solution to our problems must have taken longer than his schedule allowed. I hope his day was not too long.

Just had a new Range fitted, we are extremely pleased with the service.

Product arrived without original packaging, one of the stickers removed and manual pack ripped open with the main product manual missing. Friendly delivery drivers. Product turned out to be 'just about' to go on shop floor and they forgot to mention. Nonetheless, all seems well so far and at least they responded honestly in the end.

Easy process on the website. However, I selected, and paid for, a morning delivery slot and for a hinge reversal. Neither of these additional items was actioned when the delivery went out. After a couple of phone calls, the situation was recovered. Despite our item being initially planned as one of the last, the delivery driver managed to reach us at lunchtime. In addition, on finding that the hinges had not been reversed, he did that for us right away.

All good - easy and efficient transaction. Product better than described (ie described as cosmetic damage but none obvious!)

However, I feel there should be two people handling such heavy items.
Fridge freezer seems fine but obviously early days.

I visited the show room because I needed to replace 3 sets of white goods. So that I could ensure I was ordering the right sizes a survey was arranged and my Fridge freezer, Washing machine and Dishwasher were all expertly fitted within 7 days of choosing them in the show room. The fitter did an excellent job ( I recommend having a survey so that you can be in no doubt everything will fit)and worked solidly for over 3 hours. He ensured I knew how everything worked before he left. I also arranged for the old appliances to be removed, which just makes everything so straightforward. Gillman’s staff are always courteous and nothing is too much trouble.i have shopped at Gillman’s for years and cannot rate them highly enough. IAM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER. THANK YOU.

The second time this year I have used Gillmans. Competitive prices, local delivery and good delivery communication.

I ordered a vacuum cleaner for click and collect. It was ready very promptly.

standard service, paying for removal of old appliances isn't great.
