Absolutely DIRE customer service!

I purchased a lipstick in the UK which was faulty. I got in touch with Beauty customer services and sent the lipstick back.. My first email was the 25th September. Since then I have emailed 7 times and called twice. All the while speaking to the customer service lady called Géraldine. I have even asked for her manager to call me which I was assured would happen today. (Jessica) Again nothing. I have lost all faith now in your brand and have never experienced customer service like this! Why would it take so long for this to be remedied? And why is your customer so shockingly bad?

As of today's date 6th Dec I have still not had the replacement lipstick!

Update: Monday the 9th I called and spoke to Nicole who promised to escalate to a manager. Again no call back or follow up so today the (11th Dec) called YET again and this time spoke to Hagar who said would send an internal email and chase up as well as getting a manager to follow up.... Will wait and see if this happens. Still no further forward then I was and still no replacement lipstick....

17th Dec.. Guess what no update as promised by Hajar.. Infact no contact at all! Will try calling again tomorrow...

2025, just called again as still no update or replacement. Advised by Geraldine that she couldn't get a manager to call me back or even wasn't willing to get the manager to speak to this other team who apparently deal with these issues. I'm not at a loss. 4 months on and no replacement!

Hi i bought a handbag from Givenchy in…

Hi i bought a handbag from Givenchy in Harrods a few weeks ago..
and the bag straps keep opening while using the bag.. which should not happen.. it should not just loosen up while you are wearing tbe bag.. or all your items will fall out..
And there are a few threads coming away from it to..
I only wore the bag twice and paid alot of money for it and reported the problem to customer service..
it is the worst customer service experience ever.. they were not even willing to take a look at the bag..
they Told me send pics of the bag.. and decided it was not faulty..
how can they tell by pictures.. it didn't make sense.. as this happens while wearing the bag..
They were also not very nice..
I have dealt with so many companys in the past and have always always been looked after.. and they have dealt with issues..
This was my first time buying a handbag from Givenchy and was very very dissapointed!

First time stopping by the Givenchy store

Stopped by the Givenchy store in downtown Toronto during a business trip and figured I’d pick up a handbag while I was there. Gotta say, the folks working there were just great—super helpful and friendly, took their time to make sure I found something I’d love.

But for the price I shelled out, I was expecting a little more in terms of quality. It’s a beautiful bag, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just pricey for what you get. Plus, the store itself didn’t have a ton of options out on display. Would’ve been nice to see a bigger selection, especially for a high-end spot like that. All in all, nice experience, just a bit steep for what you’re gettin’.

Try it if it’s your thing, but all up to you

Cardholder Exchange Taking 4+ MONTHS

I requested an exchange for a cardholder they shipped to me with low quality print, on July 14. It is now almost November, I have yet to receive anything back from them, despite having sent them back my defective unit over 40 days ago. An exchange does not need to take 4 months. This is outrageous and their customer service team needs to be fired.

Why on Earth would anyone desire to buy a perfume with such a name Angel demon Or Devil li don’t care even it’s scent last hundred years I would not take it even if i was given a gallon for it free name is one powerful thing both spiritual and physical if someone can name Busness or their with such a name you just have to now who the person is by looking at the how they name their business we it’s just how everyone is aware things around them and able to to have a sharp observation and awareness all I can say we must be careful even to us all as humanity it’s said we must be careful about names we give out children because names hold power the meaning of a name the owner shall manifest the path of the meaning of the name they were given

Proper scam?

I went to their website to check out their jewelry selection. When I check my bank statements after buying some items from Balenciaga I found out that Givenchy charged me three different times for an item I was looking at—not even trying to buy. How did they even get my credit card info? Starting to believe this whole company is just a scam after seeing all these reviews about costumer service. Hope they return my messages to their customer service email or it’s going to be a problem.

extremely bad quality of the tote bag

I have bought a Givenchy tote bag on last year of July 2023 and after several times of using this bag. The colour of the bag has been faded from black to white. When I files a complaint to Givenchy their feedback to me it was due to customer its own wear and tear as I have rubbed the bag and that is why colour faded terribly. What kind of quality of this bag it is?? It is definitely not acceptable!

Do you think customer will spend few thousands dollars to just buy a water colour bag!!

I really wanted to upload the bag photos for all the people to see and judge. Unfortunately there is no way for me to upload the photos.

But I won't stop here.

Customer care below the standard

I went to its shop in Singapore to inquire a bag could be repaired. They came back to me after 5 weeks with some short answer "It's not a manufacturing defect, we can't assist." I had to contact them several times to get clarity. I didn't claim a manufacturing defect but simply asked whether the bag could be repaired or not, so it sounded either they misunderstood my question or Givenchy does not provide repair service.
According to them, 5 weeks of turnaround time is acceptable from their service standard and the inquiry was properly addressed. I reached out to HQ hoping to speak to a senior level as it was quite hard to believe as a high end brand, and was told this was not material enough to escalate, since their manager is busy handling various issues coming from everywhere.

I was disappointed by the way your colleagues were handing the inquiry, in particular, it took 5 weeks of time to get an answer, yet confusing/lacking clarity. I'm not a big buyer of branded goods but so far the longest time I waited to get a clear answer for similar inquiries from other brands was 15 days, and the answers were straight forward - 'Yes it can be repaired if ....(with the condition)', or 'Sorry it cannot be repaired because ....(with the rationale)'. Whereas the answer I got from Givenchy was 'It's not a manufacturing defect, we can't assist'. Sorry to know that you actually feel I am oversensitive, however in general the expectation would be higher for brands sell bags that cost a few thousand dollars.

Absolutely shocking customer service…

Absolutely shocking customer service from Givenchy Beauty customer helpline in Paris.

Francesca, Jessica and Geraldine (especially Geraldine) are very unprofessional, rude, sarcastic and knowingly gives false information and false assurances.

In all my life, I have NEVER EVER experienced such a poor service from any retailer, particularly from a luxury brand.

As a direct result of the service I have received from the Givenchy representatives above (especially Geraldine today) I have no intention from purchasing anything else from Givenchy again. I am absolutely disgusted with the service (or lack thereof).

Extremely disappointing and concerning. Advice to Givenchy CEO - Record and monitor your calls and staff.

Customer Service.

Customer Service.
Horrible experience, I have a problem with the zipper. The time for corresponding took a long time plus they asked me a million questions for pictures and detailed information wich i provide, with eventually the answer; sorry we can't help you. Never will buy another givenchy item again. They answered I need a receipt but when I go to timberland or Eastpak and much more brands they help me directly by repairing it or send me a voucher.

Defective Givenchy Shark Boots

Hello I bought a pair of Givenchy Shark boots and they are defective and drags or on the ground. I talked to multiple representatives and they said that it is nothing that they can do. I would like for them to be repaired or replaced and one person said that they are out of season but I went back on the website and you still can order the same boots. Terrible service.

It is the worst experience I have ever had. I bought boots for $1,771. On November 28, 2023 I returned them, they received them on December 7, 2023. We are in January $2024, and they do not want to return money or boots, this company is a fraud, I am fighting for my money, they should fine this Company and take it to Court.

Quality it is not. Customer Service it is not

I purchased a Givenchy handbag in Paris for my daughter and was oh so excited. The very first use ended up such a disappointment. The leather pull on the zipper fell off. The brand says we will repair it but don’t see it as a priority as it is usable. I spent this much money on supposedly luxury bag to have it become unusable from the very first wear?! The bag cannot be used as it cannot be zipped/closed. And the customer service team is the absolute worst- one I haven’t ever experienced even with much less premier merchandise. Staff is incompetent, not prompt and does not perform on their promises. I will be taking this matter further if I don’t get it repaired asap. Needless to say none of my family members or friends will ever do as much as looking at anything made by Givenchy.

Update: 02.01.2024 Most weird sentence written in the reply by Givenchy “our decision is final”. I wonder if the employees believe that they work for a government institution and their word is final?! Being an online retailer there’re very clear laws and regulations. Do you guys believe because you’re part of LV Group you can do whatever you want? What about consumer rights? By law you have to take the items back. I hope other customers will proceed with legal charges against your company and won’t loose their money. There is a reason why customers are giving a bad rating. It’s not the customers who are lying 🤥 unfortunately the word “scam” used by other people in the reviews is describing my case. It’s shocking!! Update: I wish I had seen the reviews before I have purchased from this horrible brand. Dear Givenchy I won’t take the boots back. I’m going ahead with a lawsuit in Berlin. Your disgusting way of holding on to my money is shocking! A brand should never get away with such a lie. Absolutely disgusting! Sole is intact 🤣 This is ridiculous! Making up any reason to blame the customer so Givenchy doesn’t have to refund. My experience with Givenchy turned out to be a disaster. Now my lawyers will have to deal with Givenchy. I send them back their pair of shoes. New. I have not worn the boots I did not remove any tags. The shoes have been in my apartment kept in their box. Well now their „Atelier“ claims their shoes are looking to worn and they don’t want to take them back. They‘re keeping my money and they want that I accept the wrong size. Before UPS took the parcel I removed the shoes and did pictures from all the sides. I’m German we do this before we give something back as a precaution. Luckily I have a lawyer insurance and I will go ahead with a legal process. Never again I will purchase anything from Givenchy or a brand which is a part of LVMH. It’s a very wrong approach how they handle online purchases. I feel robbed by this company. I have written a complaint letter to their headquarters but of course they don’t care. No answer. Nothing.
