Received very little back of the tax…

Received very little back of the tax from my spending in Italy. Most of the loss went on scammy exchange rates and admin fees

Global Blue fees are exorbidant and calculations are not disclosed.

Global Blue fees are exorbidant and they refuse to disclose how they are calculated. Additionally they delay refunds for weeks in spite of the calain on their website that "once validayted customs form is recieved refund is issued." I purchased a watch in Holland with VAT of 116EUR. Global blue calculated a refund of $55 pocketing almost 60% of the VAT and refused to disclose their calculation. They are robbing the public. Next time I will look for other way to get VAT refund.

Fee from Global Blue unexpected

I was happy that the refund came very fast but unhappy that i didnt realize there was a fee from global blue to do the transaction that i had done at a kiosk by myself. No one at either of the two stores who handed me the global blue form to receive my refund mentioned that. Beware that Global Blue take a fee to do this.

Swindled on the exchange rate

I always ask for the refund in the original currency (EUR) but Global Blue continually insists on depositing the refund to my credit card in USD while imposing an unethically predatory exchange rate.
