I was denied refunds totaling several hundred dollars after following Global Blue’s exact submission instructions. The processing systems between European countries (e.g. France and Spain) are not connected, so upon exit from Spain, I faced major challenges processing forms from France. As a result, I spent over an hour at my exit point in Spain working with the customs desk to receive the customs stamp on each physical form, I sent the forms in by mail, and yet when the forms were received by Global Blue, they were rejected. After reaching out to Global Blue, they repeatedly told me the decision was final and were not willing to process my refunds.

I still havent go on my account the 434.52 Eu or Sfr from Louisa Spagnoli Como which have been paid on June 4th 2026. Further payements are also missing.

I have got the picture of the payement of Global blue taken from the screen from Global blue aerport Zurich.

Easy process at airport of departure to scan all doc’s. Immediate response in receiving refunds credited to my credit card used on all purchases.

Very smooth transaction

The transaction was easy to carry out at the airport. The refund was made in two days.

Speed of processing, certainty of outcome, clarity of communication, and great app which meant I didn’t have to fill in a lot of forms or encounter any hassle at the airport as the app recognised my purchases as soon as details were entered by the merchants.

Refund process was very quick and smooth, which I was impressed and satisfied, but finding the Global Blue counter at the Helsinki Airport was rather difficult.
