The trade people’s who fit the equipment are good people although they are few and far between in our area thus the annoying wait.

Glow Green, did not forward documents to DNO for approval, then blamed the DNO for the delay.

I used Glow Green for the installation of AC, solar and a battery. I went with them because of the good reviews. The contractors they use to do the work I'd say I couldn't be happier.

The AC installers, the electricians, the scaffolders all brilliant, professional and tidy actually all the things you'd want from trades which are so often not this way.

Dealing with Glow Green has also been pretty easy, you can always get hold of somebody and when you go with them you do get a named contact that keeps you updated through the process, the same somebody that can answer any questions you've got.

The pricing was also really clear, I did shop around and it was really competitive.

I've nothing bad to say about my experience with them and I'd say that if you're after AC and or solar then you should consider these guys as part of the process.

Luke very good engineer and explained everything satisfactorily. However, there was a mix up with the times which meant I had to chase up the company to see if he was still coming

The boiler man did a professional job, very polite, and very tidy. Arrived on time and left after making sure every thing was completed. I would recommend him to anyone. Very good service indeed.

The promptness and the way everything was explained as well as the gas engineer who was very patient and amazing.The whole process was worth the hype.Then glow green staff were all amazing.l will recommend them with my full chest.

Engineer arrived on time and identified an issue and was able to source, collect and fit the part within a few hours and was able to complete the boiler service.

Unfortunately, my experience with Glow Green following the installation of an EV charger has been extremely poor.

The problems have not simply been with the installation itself, but with the communication, coordination and complaint handling that followed.

I have experienced failed or aborted appointments, taken time away from my business to be available for engineers, repeatedly chased for updates and been promised callbacks that did not happen.

When the charger was eventually installed, further remedial work was required. Issues included poor cable routing, cabling that was not properly secured, inappropriate white clips being used against black external cabling/timber, damage to timberwork and damage to the cable for an existing security camera, which subsequently had to be repaired.

To be fair, some of the individual engineers I have dealt with have been professional and helpful, and a more senior engineer acknowledged problems with the original installation. My criticism is principally of Glow Green's organisation, communication and apparent lack of ownership.

I formally complained on 1 June 2026. More than three months later, the matter is still unresolved.

Most recently, an electrician telephoned me one morning to ask whether I was expecting someone to work on my EV charger. I wasn't. Glow Green had apparently added my property to his job list for that morning without contacting me or agreeing an appointment. The electrician also appeared to have been provided with very little information about the work required, despite Glow Green already having extensive correspondence and photographs from me.

As I am self-employed, I cannot simply have contractors turn up without notice. I have repeatedly had to rearrange my working diary throughout this process.

The complaint process has now created another problem. Glow Green's own complaints procedure directed me to HIES after eight weeks. I followed that procedure and prepared a detailed submission, only for HIES to inform me that it could not consider my complaint because EV chargers are not an approved product for Glow Green under the HIES scheme.

I am now escalating the matter further using the alternative dispute-resolution route identified in Glow Green's own complaints procedure.

I have extensive emails, photographs and correspondence documenting what has happened.

I don't leave a review like this lightly. I gave Glow Green numerous opportunities over several months to rectify the installation and resolve my complaint directly. Unfortunately, my experience has been one of repeated communication failures, poor coordination and a remarkable lack of ownership.

I will update this review if Glow Green finally resolves the outstanding issues satisfactorily.

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with Glow Green. They have been easy to work with for the most part, and I’m very pleased with the product and the quality of the installation. The pricing was competitive, and the whole package represents good value for money. There were a couple of issues with communication and delivery along the way, but these were outweighed by the helpful team and the end result. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and would be happy to recommend Glow Green.

Rush arrived just after 7am very friendly. He did an amazing job very through explaining everything to me clean and tidy even the dogs liked him. Ben the electrician was very friendly quick at his work. Would recommend both of them to anyone. Say a big thank you to them both. Can't think of 1 fault in their work and attitude. Instalation was started on 28.07.26....10 panels + inverter +16 kwh battery....todays date 14.9.26 and still not finished...nobody picks up the phone ,rarely get replies to emails.
Battery was installed damaged...wiring up the gable end to the panels from the inverter is all snakey ,the inverter has been fitted and quite obviously leaning to one side...overall service 1/10 ,solar panels/battery and app 10/10....although glow green energy are a useless company to deal with...they gave us a good quote...such a shame as they started off so well.
Contacted us x3 weeks ago to tell us the electrican was definitely booked for 10.09.26 so my wife waited in and didn't even turn up!!..no text...no call...no emails...nothing from Glow green...absolute shambles of a company to deal with!!
On the positive side ,we wish we put solar in years ago...were gaining so much power from the panels,our battery is fully charged every day...we can run AC off the sun in the day and get paid for the extra energy we dont use...its absolutly brilliant,our gas bill will be lower aswell in the winter as we can run an electric fire just off The light generated.

Sam the engineer called to do annualservice, he also checked the cooker and gas fire, I was extremely pleased with how professional he was.

Friendly Engineer. Arrived in time slot that I was pre-alerted too. All good.
