100% satisfied with gmx.

I've been using this gmx free since 2019 with no complaints. I use it for my financial emails and anything that requires security, like Amazon. I'm ashamed of myself that I haven't upped to the paid version knocking off adverts. I've read other poster's many complaints, but I have never had a glitch of any kind. Actually I was just on their site to go paid, but couldn't find it. The only place I am encouraged to pay is on the Android or IOS app. In Thunderbird on my PC an laptop I don't get adverts, which is where I use gmx the most.

I wish it worked better.

It appears that Yahoo!, AOL, and some other standard providers do not accept email originating from GMX or their sister service MAIL. This is incredibly frustrating and problematic. It's very hard to be able to use this when half of your address book can't receive email. Even people who send me email from these many providers are blocked when I try to respond to an email. So if someone from AOL sends me an email I have to then go to outlook or aol or gmail to respond to them. So STUPID!

When you have something to add to an email after you've sent it your only option is to "resend" and you aren't able to show this is a second email being sent.

First time tried to create an account but being told that there's irregular activity in my account.

First time tried to create an account in GMX but was informed " Dear GMX member, our system has detected irregular activity related to your account. As a precautionary measure, we have blocked your account. To regain access, please contact our Customer Support." Emailed to Customer support but was being informed that "We have forwarded your request to unblock your account to our security department and it was determined that the account in question will remain blocked. Please note that this is a decision made by our abuse department and we do not have further information we can provide to you."

Wow, newly created account and they have decided that there's irregular activity and abuse in my account. Very advanced. Probably GMX is only for the elite few. Wasted my time creating an account in GMX. A word of advice, if you want to have a webmail, better look elsewhere.

P.S. Ironically, I did received a welcome message from GMX though.

Blacklisted mail server; Automated Tech support. Truly DIRE

According to dnschecker dot org Their mail server (82 165 159 41) is (2/10/2021) on a blacklist (sorbs) and so emails are rejected by the likes of AOL
They detect 'unusual activity' on a regular basis forcing a password change despite the fact that the email address sends a very few emails
And when you try to contact technical support you get mostly automated responses that are barely related to the question.
Free email but very expensive in time and effort to use
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Tried to set up an additional GMX email…

Tried to set up an additional GMX email account - multiple problems multiple error messages totally confusing and in the end gave up ... went to Gmail and succeeded in setting up new additional email within minutes.
Even the contact support page for GMX doesn't work for me, it kept erroring in a loop.
Can't see it being my fault but thanks to Gmail I have my additional email up and running.. GMX not sure where the problem is but you lost my confidence after an hour of battling with your system and it beat me.

This company will cut you off for…

This company will cut you off for registration of a new email account with no real accountability, sighting the reason as a security company alert. This approach is curtailing public freedom on the Internet when GMX customer service refuses to provide concrete evidence to back up their claim. Please avoid this flaky email service. You have better options available.

Scam Company

When you sign up for a email, they lock your account. They play too many games. Waste of time.

YOU MUST KEEP ON TRYING It'll be worth it.

I have had a problem getting this program up and running. It wasn't due to your program, but appears at this point to be my Microsoft Office 365. I'm sure that once all of the bug have been worked out, I will be giving a five star rating to your program. Please allow me a couple of months and then send me a new survey. I am going to get my Geek Squad to work on my computers and when it is fully installed I would definitely like to submit a review again.

This company is not trust worthy

This company is not trust worthy. Their platform seems okay, then you sign up for a email. After awhile they lock you out and continue to send you bot repeat messages. It’s impossible to get back in your email. I have lost a lot of stored art in my account and important emails. Because these scumbags won’t let me back in. I notice since the left and DS have been trying to take over the world every company now sucks. This world is going down the tubes fast in everything. Such a shame
