Very expensive to the point of price gouging. Pushy sales associates and they try to sign you up for memberships just to get your information to sell to third parties. Do not give them any business.

NEVER RECEIVE THE NON FLUSH NIACIN VITAMINS AT THIS POINT

Last time my mom order my non flush niacin vitamins and they denied the right house address when they shipped it to the wrong place and at this time my mom made a complaint about the right amount of niacin vitamins and they denied the responses to us. We will never use GNC anymore. The company will be ashamed and the consumers shall throw all employees out and hopefully GNC should be going out of business anytime soon!!!!

GNC WARNING!! Ordering scam.

We've been GNC customers for 15 years. They don't care.

They shipped us a second $150 order days after the one we actually placed in 7/2020. Now we can't get a prepaid shipping label to return the second order.

We actually did take the second package to a FedEx drop expecting it to return but it was routed back to our house. They want us (we're nearly 70 years old) to drive 2 hrs round trip to return to the unwanted package to a GNC store. Or pay FedEx charges.

To add insult to injury the customer service reps will hang up on you.

You can read accounts of others having issues with their ordering infra structure yet they expect the customer to be liable.

It is truly frightening to consider consuming products claiming to augment your health when their attitude toward customer care is so shallow. Causes one to wonder if they truly care about the quality of their products.

I prefer them over amazon

I prefer them over amazon due to quality and followup in case there is ever an issue. I even got my money back once from a supplement that was clearly not as advertised.

Major Rip off go to Amazon instead

I needed some Isopure Protein Isolate. I use the zero carb unflavored. I usually order this from Amazon, but I waited too late and had to find some local. I knew I would pay more at GNC but I needed it that day. I didn’t notice the price, I used my debit and didn’t notice until I was out the door. Bad on me. Highway robbery! Two six ounce bags - $85!!! On Amazon I pay $19 a pound. GNC I paid $85 for 12 ounces. I was still in the parking lot so I went to return it. Nope. All sales are final. No returns. I sincerely hope COVID-19 drives them out of business. They DESERVE to be run out of business. I will never set foot in a GNC again. I wish I could give them a minus 10.

If i could give 0 stars..i would

If i could give 0 stars, or a negative rating i would. I ordered some vitamins from GNC.com, but I didn't realize that when i made that purchase, i was enrolling in a monthly subscription. Once i discovered this, i tried to call their corporate customer service number to cancel, and I was advised that subscription orders cannot be cancelled after being "processed" and/or shipped. The CSR told me that i could return the products to my local store once received, which clearly was a lie. I attempted to return the order to 3 local stores, and they all had different excuses. 1 store said they were a franchise location & couldn't accept returns for online orders, the 2nd store said they couldn't take any returns due to Covid (even-though every other store in this area rolled back their return restrictions in June), the 3rd store didn't even allow me to enter the store when they saw i had items i wanted return. I believe this is just a huge ploy by GNC to rip people off during the pandemic. They're going through bankruptcy, so they promise unsuspecting online shoppers 10% off, and in the very fine print it states it's contingent upon you enrolling in auto delivery/subscription. They then charge you 2 days earlier than the auto renew date that's established, so by the time you get the e-mail notifying you of your "upcoming" order and try to cancel you can't because its already in "Process" status. Then lastly, they make it nearly impossible for you to return the product.1 rep tried to tell me that the return exception applies to NJ only, and that i could try driving out of state. For what???! As someone who works in retail, at a major store that ended their return restrictions in June as per state guidelines, i know what he's saying is BS. Please save your money and do not support this sham of a company. It's not by mistake that they're going through a "financial Restructure" . Please don't waste your money, and most importantly your time. Now i have to pay an additional shipping fee to send this crap back since they don't even provide return labels. Oh, and their website says it may take up to 30 days for my refund to be processed. Buh Bye GNC! Your company lacks integrity.

unsealed products made me sick

Two years ago I went into a GNC to buy protein powder. When I went home, the plastic seal around the cap was intact but the safety seal over the bottle was already torn off. I went to exchange the product giving them the benefit of the doubt. In order to make sure that it did not happen again, I requested to open the product in front of the clerk. Same thing. Opened safety seal. Tried with TWO more in front of the clerk and same thing. Opened safety seal. I got my money back and purchased elsewhere. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I see a sale going on and decide to give GNC a chance again. I ordered online this time. Product was properly sealed this time but smelled disgusting— like cheese and feet. The texture was also sandy and not powdery like other products I’ve tried. Both times I consumed the product I was immediately nauseous and had “the runs” for hours. I’ve tried returning the product with the order confirmation number since they never emailed me the receipt, but have not had any luck. Their only other option was to get me to ship the product back with my own money. I genuinely think they replace the protein powder with another substance and try to reseal it and sell it. I left a review of the product on their website about my experience and it was taken down in less than 24 hours. I do not trust this company one bit. There are plenty of other places to buy supplements from and I implore you to go elsewhere to avoid getting sick.

If you have an account on GNC.com, they will put you as having a subscription even if you didn't do that yourself. They keep charging and sending you mass gainers even though you don't order them. They will charge your card even though you don't have a saved payment and they will keep charging you even though you cancelled your subscription. These guys are scewing people over!!

Awful customer service

Hands down this is among the worst customer service experiences so far. I ordered a tub of protein powder, paid for overnight shipping. It didn't arrive so I called customer service. While checking my order, the phone went dead. Called again and the wait was too long. I started a chat, found out that shipping overnight is from the time processing was complete, which it wasn't yet, 3 days after ordering. Another day or so later, I chatted again when it was clear that tracking from DHL showed it was not sent overnight, but was sent expedite. The guy I chatted with said he didn't understand why it was taking so long, but they don't deliver, and I should call DHL. Now DHL apologizes that there was a delay and it will be another 24-48 hours before delivery. I asked for a cancellation from GNC, and that was refused. It will be more than a week before my overnight shipment arrives. First shopping experience with GNC, never again.

Store#5849 Associate Eileen in Hialeah, FL.

I see a lot of non-sense complaints in here. People love giving a negative review when in fact the problem is you not the brand, nor the store, nor the store associate. Keep in mind that not all products are for everyone. We are all different. Never stick with one product always rotate them so the body will not get use to it and use what is recommended with appropriate dieting. That is just my 2 cents. Eileen from store #5849 was great. She is very knowledgeable, speaks nutritional and great Customer Service. She speaks English and Spanish. I recommend Eileen and GNC for your nutritional supplements.

Go find another brand. Worst customer experience among the US.

I can't believe they are this big after I read the reviews.

This was my first and last purchase from GNC. They did not respect their customers and they do not care at all.

- They sent my order and it was lost. When I called them, they said oh it is not insured so we can't do anything. When you check their return policy, they request an insured return. Why do you need it if you are not using it while sending my order? Anyways I found my package 3 days later on. It was misdelivered.

-second issue was their return policy. When I want to cancel my order, they said it was shipped and we cant cancel it. They did not give any tracking and no insurance on the package.

I got frustrated and want to return it and want to buy another brand. They were not accepting returns because of COVID-19. Now the stores are open but they are saying it was already passed 30 days of return. Well, you weren't accepting the returns in the past 60 days. How could I do that.

Anyway, no respect to their customers. This is my most frustrating purchase and never never again.

Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever

Honestly, this is hands-down the worst experience I've ever had with an online order, and that includes early on in the halcyon days of e-commerce. 3 out of four products didn't ship, though they billed me and said they shipped. Got one product three weeks after order. Called customer service and they had the wrong email and name on my order (it was associated with someone else's account, and I have no account with them), with a mixture of other products. They finally agreed to re-ship the missing products at no cost, but said the weeks-long delays were all FedExs' fault; this, despite other vendors being able to somehow get me product, using FedEx, in mere days. This experience won't put me off of purchasing in the stores again once they open in my area (post-Covid), but I will never again order online from this merchant.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! There is no way to cancel an order once placed because you cannot contact anyone after 6pm. I placed the order at 645pm and tried to cancel immediately. I had a code I thought I entered for free shipping but it didn't go through even though it the website accepted it but I was still charged for the shipping and now I cant cancel the order. Horrible!

I recently purchased a mass gainer from them, and I went home to discover it is the worst quality supplement I have had. It cost me $60 for this supplement and it is completely un-drinkable. I have had other supplements before in the same price range that were much better.
So I tried to return the product but they would not let me due to a return policy from COVID-19. To mention, the policy was not stated to me at purchase of the product. I contacted customer service to see if I could get store credit in any way until I can return the product, but they just suggest I wait and in the mean time buy more of their products in place.
Needless to say... GNC has lost a loyal customer!

I have three GNC gift cards

I have three GNC gift cards. I tried to place an order online but could not find anywhere to input the gift cards. So, I chat online because this happened before and the customer service always can help use the gift cards. But after first unfinished chatting, they closed my online chat services more than 5 times before chat with me! It is very rude! During the chat with Emily, they refused to help place an order by using gift cards. And they told me their manager could not talk to me without any reason! If they do not let customers using gift cards, why selling them? And they never notice customers can not use gift cards online when they sell them!

Nothing Has Changed

I have said for years that this has to be one of the worst websites I have ever visited. I drive out of my way to visit a GNC store location rather than shop online with them. Well, Covid closed my GNC store so I sucked it up and went to the website. It took a bit to find my products (I knew exactly what I wanted) and at checkout there seemed no place to redeem my reward points. Back a few pages and found the spot and then had to enter my points and re-enter my payment info and "submit". OK, so maybe not so bad afterwards. A minute later get a order confirmation email. Then, an email saying my order was CANCELLED. Then an email thanking me for my order. WHAT??? Let's get them on the phone. Nope, no one home. Let's Chat... Nope, no chat available. OK, I'll send an email to see what's up and someone will get back to me. A few hours later I get an email that my order is Shipped. Now I'm really confused. Waiting a week for a response to my email while still waiting to receive my order, I decide to send another email now addressing the really crappy customer service. I sent it on 4/19 and received an automated response that says, "Due to high volume, we may be delayed with our response to you." It is now 5/7 and STILL no response. I did receive my order but was missing an item so not sure if it was out of stock (website shouldn't have allowed me to order, or else noted if product was out of stock or B/O). Which all leave me with the fact that this is still a horrible website that aligns perfectly with the level of customer service. I can't wait for my local store to re-open (it must be a franchise store as it is well run with great customer service).

GNC has to be the biggest rip off of any supplement company out there. Blasting my emails with “discounts” meanwhile nothing states it’s in USD funds while I am in Canada. Since when do US supplement companies offer free shipping to Canada? Oh ya ones that are charging 40% more per product. And conveniently unable to process returns. Not to mention two separate transactions went through on my account. I order online regularly and I’ve never been more unhappy with an online purchase in my life! Order # 200001263158

I waited on the phone 1 1/2 hours to speak with James M, team lead out of Tampa FL. On a recurring order I was sent a 90 day bottle of vitamins with an expiration date of July 2020. Tomorrow is May 1st and I already have 3 1/3 weeks of vitamins in my current bottle. This is such a dis-service! James offered nothing to assist me! GNC has the worst customer service and it is just wrong to send out expired vitamins!!!
