Online ordering is a joke

Should of read reviews beforehand. Long time GNC member but I've always purchased in store. 1st time I ordered online as they didn't have what I needed at the storefront.
I paid extra for overnight shipping on a $200 order. This was on a Monday, Cut to Thursday and its still not shipped. I received a refund on the shipping cost only after calling to complain. It is now Friday and STILL not shipped.
Why even offer expedited services and you cant fulfill them

Customer Service is worthless.

I've purchased in stores for years now. No real issues there as they have what I need. However, my partner will sometimes go in for me so I've had two email accounts on record for them. No big deal.

One time in-store shopping I decided to purchase the pro plan. The associate rang me up and supposedly attached the pro plan to an account based on the phone number, and that was that.

Months later when trying to restock and use the Pro Plan it was NOT attached to either account. I emailed CS they said they'd consolidate my accounts, and attach the plan as they saw I did purchase it. In between the 48-hour waiting periods of CS reply, I just went to the store.

Now months later I still have no Pro Plan access, loss of points due to the consolidation, and 4 CS associates who cannot return an email trying to get it resolved.

Moral of the story: if you shop in-store it's fine. If you need to rely on them for anything outside of that you're better off just going entirely elsewhere. Their CS is absolutely worthless.

Worst Service EVER!

I made an online purchase in December 2023. The order never arrived. I looked online and found that the order was damaged during shipping and returned to GNC. I contacted them and asked that it be re-sent. They said they were not re-sending, but reimbursing my credit card account. I still have not been reimbursed. I have contacted them a number of times since. Now they say that I have been reimbursed. However, it does not reflect on my credit card transactions. They are saying that it is my responsibility to prove that I have not been reimbursed. They are actually saying that I need to send them my credit card statements! Unreal!! I asked that my case be escalated to a supervisor. They scheduled a call with me at 8:00 this morning. They have not called me. When I try calling them, their BOT attempts to forward me to customer service, but the call drops every time. Do not order online from this company! Horrible service!

Pathetic Customer Service

A wrong parcel was delivered to my place against a prepaid delivery. This, against a proper OTP verified system. I have been a repeat customer of the franchise but the customer care apathy & outright dismissiveness is appalling. I should not have been holding on to someone else's parcel if the delivery would have been so accurately OTP based.

Strongly advise against placing any prepaid order with this franchise as the post sales support is virtually non existent.

Placed an order on GNC website. I ordered 4 items but only received 3. While I managed to get a refund from the chat agent, she told me only for this time and next time there will be investigation. I don't like to be treated as a thief. It's a simple order of 4 items of the same product, you missed one, then a refund is expected. If I have to jump through hoops to make your mistake right, I will never order again.

Canceled my order, but haven't refunded my payment.

I ordered from GNC on December 23rd. My product never showed up, though GNC inquired about how I liked the product that I never received. Reviewing the tracking, the product was returned to GNC. I inquired about it. Was told that the product was damaged in shipping. Instead of sending me replacement product, the said they had cancelled my order and were refunding me my money. I asked them to resend the product rather than refunding my payment. They said, "it was against company policy" to do that. Now, nearly three weeks later, I still have not received my refund! I called and was told it takes ten days to two weeks to be refunded. This company is a joke! I will not be dealing with them ever again.

As a former manager at GNC I’m gonna…

As a former manager at GNC I’m gonna put them on blast - all the sales metrics they are required to meet or else they are FIRED. It goes like this:
12% of their daily sales HAVE to be from multivitamins
(If they sell 1,000$ in products every day, 120$ of that has to be from multivitamins)
6% of their total transactions HAVE to be selling pro memberships
(If they had 15 transactions, 2 of those have to be pro membership sales)
5% of their total transactions HAVE to be setting things up on a routine
And they HAVE to sign up 70% of new customers on their loyalty program.
These are BARE MINIMUM requirements to keep the job, along with literally running the entire store from revolving inventory 10x a month with little to no help, making bank runs 2x a week, all while paying less than a McDonald’s worker and being required to join 9am phone meetings twice a week.
GNC’s slogan is “live well” but their employees are anything but living well working here LMAO!
Here’s the best part: GNC is owned by the largest pharmaceutical in CHINA. Since when has making people healthier profited pharmaceutical companies? I’ll wait… just think about that next time you see how carefully articulated their brand selections are, 99% of energy drinks and protein bars having cancer causing ingredients and all their other products have fake colors, and other crap ingredients.
No wonder their employees steal thousands of dollars and product from the company - because they’re stealing their joy!

Elevator Blues Have Nothing on GNC!

Dealing with GNC has been an exercise in extreme patience. I was once stuck in an elevator for so long that the looming specter of dehydration forced me to briefly consider the merits of survival tactics and drink my own urine.

This elevator ordeal was more enjoyable, and indeed, more productive than my experience with GNC.

For over six months, I've been receiving someone else's personal statements from GNC via email – a clear mishandling of sensitive information but one that is easily solved.

GNC could contact the customer to get their actual email address, change the email address to anything but mine, or close/delete the account. Evidently these options are beyond GNC's capability.

In my efforts to get GNC to resolve their data problem and stop annoying me with emails I didn't ask for, I've reached out to various departments, including their customer service, their EU GDPR data representative, the CEO, their Twitter/X account and even a board member.

The response? Complete silence.

In summary, my experience with GNC has been an ongoing loop of frustration. My dealings with GNC have become a drawn-out comedy of errors, without the comedy.

If my experience is anything to go by, I would advise caution to anyone considering entrusting their personal information to GNC.

I, for one, would rather drink my own urine.

Their shipping costs alone are an absolute scam. I run a very small business and am quite familiar with shipping costs. They charged $13 for a very small, light package. They are pocketing most of this. I will never shop with them again.

Screwed up order, overcharged us, never received!

Had a monthly order on auto-ship. This months order upped our creatine quantity from one to EIGHT. Worse yet, we did not ever receive the shipment. Customer service said the only way to issue a refund is if we return the product…which we never received. Now we’re out $400 and they say there’s nothing the can do? UNACCEPTABLE. Would give negative stars if it were an option. Will never shop from GNC again

I bought the Multivitamin 50 plus from GNC, hoped it can help improve my memory like the bottle label said. The bottle even had warning for who cannot eat the vitamin just like for medication so look very credible mah..
After three months of consumption, I still do not feel that the vitamin helped to improve my memory.. I feel very cheated by the bottle packaging.

I ordered some supplements on GNC…

I ordered some supplements on GNC online store, I did not receive my products 2 weeks after I placed my order. On their website, it stated “Take advantage of our Free Shipping offer on all orders of $39.99 and we will ship it directly to your home within 5 business day.”Almost 10 business days later, I have not received my order. I contacted GNC and explained that I have not gotten my order and that I need them by certain date since I’m going out of town. After staying on the phone for about 45 minutes with customer services, I was told “there is nothing we can do and all i can do for you is to refund you.” I have informed the representative that I do not want refund, I just want my order and they should figure something out for their customer as it is stated on their website about the amount days for delivery and the fact that it also stated in the checkout process before I order.

Part of GNC’s Mission statement of “To provide a shopping experience that exceeds our customers' expectations” needs to change. The customer representative and the supervisor did not try to do their best to solve my concerns and the inconvenience that they have caused me. They did NOTHING to “EXCEED” my expectations.

Never use their online store. I will use another retail for health products.

This is the worst experience ever for me purchasing a product online from GNC, i have placed my order almost 2 weeks ago from today, never recieved my order so far, called GNC around 6th ttime yesterday. Your team escalated their investigation and NOW another GNC employee named IVAN had sent me an email asking me to go to the authorities if my delivery has been stolen. Ridiculous.

Why should i have to go through this situation.

I did put my complete address with my phone number, why didnt the delivery person called or gotten any signatue for the delivery ??

Did he delivered my order to my address or somewhere elses address?
Will never make any purchase with GNC nor even reccomend it to anyone. Pathetic.

I had to call back and forth so many times for this online order, i wish i had made this purchase with Amazon, it wouldn't have been this difficult.

I have checked with all my neighbors as well still couldn't locate any package.

At this point I literally want my money to be refunded as I no longer want to wait any further as I have wasted too much time and effort with this situation.

I even requested to talk to your supervisor yesterday when i called the lady on the phone have arranged a call back within 2-3 hours and it's been over 24hrs. Since then as well and have not received any call back from your manager.
This shows how irresponsible GNC employees are.

I hope your team will take this matter seriously and resolve my issue by refunding my money asap.

Poor customer service

I have ordered from GNC a couple other times without issue. This last order I placed with expedited shipping and received an order confirmation email.

On the day the item was supposed to arrive I checked the order status and the order could not be found….I reached out to customer service via chat who told me that my order was not fulfilled because they do not ship to commercial addresses. My address is residential, not commercial. I ordered two other times with no problem. GNC wasn’t going to tell me they did this…just waited until I reached out. They did not offer any solutions other than me reordering when they haven’t cancelled my order and couldn’t tell me if I was charged. Fortunately I found another place to get my items and won’t use GNC again as they still haven’t sent me a cancellation on my order.

Currently deployed in Iraq and tried to make an order from GNC because they had buy 2 get one free sale. They preceded to cancel have my order with no explanation why and immediately after the did that I tried to get them to cancel the rest of my order and they refused to. The items I was supposed to get for free were among the canceled items so they didn't even honor their sell. I will never order from GNC again.

Do not online order! Shipping a mess!

Ordered bulk from company. Stuff ships in multiple different boxes. Several items came damaged. Wheybolic protein powder came with inner seal broken and powder spilling everywhere. Customer service gave refund but product was $70 and they only gave $45. And a separate shipment of protein bars came through USPS with both the main box AND USPS product box clearly opened. The protein bars were spilt all over box and there was some other random box in the package that had nothing to do this my product. A random flat empty box was crammed inside mine the main shipping box. And I don’t know why, or when this happened. Will just go to the store from now on.

Zero Star! Order not delivered!

Ordered online this morning at 7am. Paid for same day delivery for an extra charge. Was to be delivered by 10pm today. Received GNC email that order was on its way at 10am. Called at 3pm for update on delivery. GNC rep spoke to Shipt (WHO DON'T SHIP!) that order would be delivered between 7pm and 8pm. Recvd voicemail from Shipt at 7pm that order was cancelled. It's now 10pm and order not delivered. Total fraud! I would not have ordered from GNC or paid for same day delivery if I had known that they would not deliver on their PROMISE!

Parting Ways With GNC !

I was a long time Pro Member until recently, now I WILL NOT give them any more of my business. Because of local store closures I ordered two cans of 33 servings Whey Protein on line. When the order arrived, it was two cans of 25 servings. Short about 2 LBS of what I paid for. Customer Service Rep told me to take it to a local store for a refund. I told him there were no stores within a100 mile radius anymore. He then told me I would have to pay shipping out of my own pocket to send it back! Nearly a week later after 5 phone calls and demanding to talk to a supervisor, they finally emailed me a return label. Not even an apology for shorting me about $60 worth of product. Oh but the DID offer me 150 free points, the equivalent of a $10 coupon!! Stay tuned, I’m just now shipping the Protein back for a total refund. After this ordeal, I refuse to do business with this company anymore. As a brick and mortar store, they were fine, but as an online company they are HORRIBLE! I have only this to say…. It takes years to gain a loyal customer, but minutes to lose one! And in losing me, they’ve lost my family, friends, fellow athletes, and everyone else I share this ordeal with! Way to go GNC! Would NOT recommend doing business with them.
