Dynamic course by Paul Stott, with his method made this training achievable for me. Lots of information through the 5 days, but he was brilliant and clear. I would sign for another course with him.

I spent the week completing my SMSTS course with my trainer Paul Stott, and I can honestly say it is the best course i have completed. It supersedes any other form of e-learning or course you could do. Paul kept it light, delivering information in an incredibly easy way to digest. He encouraged and allowed for everyone to engage with the course which made it all the more easier to retain information as you were actively involved and truly enjoyed learning it. While he kept it light, he did not diminish the importance of the course nor the content that we learned, leaving me, and I'm certain every single one of my course mates, feeling like we have had a truly educational and enjoyable experience. I could not recommend completing the SMSTS under Paul Stott more, he is an excellent trainer and an excellent person.

Hi, my name is Abdulla Patima. I have recently completed the 5-day SMSTS course with Goldcross Training. I have been on many training courses over the past 10 years, and I can genuinely and honestly say this has been the best to date. The main reason is that our tutor, Paul Stott, delivered the course exceptionally well. His way of teaching is excellent and helps digest and understand the course well. Great delivery of the SMSTS course by Paul Stott. He made the content easy to understand and digestible, whilst keeping us all entertained throughout. 10/10 trainer, 10/10 singing but a shame he supports Man City. I'll be recommending him to my colleagues and will request my recert with him.

Paul Stott was my trainer. I found him great and very engaging. He kept the entire week feel fresh and gave us lots of breaks which made each day less of an information overload and allowed the coarse to feel quite easy!

I have used Goldcross Training for a few courses over the years, and today I completed my NOCN Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management (Construction) with them.

What made the NVQ process easier for me was the good practices, procedures and drive to do things correctly within our own organisation. Because these were already part of how we work day to day, a lot of the evidence required was relatively easy to obtain and came naturally from the work I was already doing.

The hardest part for me was putting the ‘How & Why’ into words without waffling! You know what you do and why you do it, but actually sitting down and explaining that clearly can be more difficult than you think. It certainly was for me!

For each module, I used real scenarios from my work as the foundation. Once I had established the scenario, I could relate the different subjects and questions back to something I had actually dealt with. This made answering the questions much easier and, more importantly, kept everything relevant to my actual experience.

The support from the Goldcross team throughout was fantastic, as were the course corrections needed from time to time. The feedback I received on each module was honest and helped keep me on the right track, without taking away from the fact that the evidence and answers needed to come from my own experience.

If I had to do it all again, the two pieces of advice I would give myself from the start would simply be:

“Don’t overthink it, and if you’re stuck, just ask.”

Tom heath what a guy... explained modules exactly how I wanted and needed made it sink in alot easier what a man... (PRAISE) I find it difficult to take things in and struggle to read and writing hes the man to take it forward thank you mate 🙏

I am very pleased with my experience with the assessor. The whole assessment process was conducted in a professional, friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The assessor was knowledgeable, patient and approachable, and explained everything clearly. I felt comfortable asking questions and received helpful guidance throughout the process. The assessment was fair, well organised and carried out to a very high standard.

Have recently undertaken the 5 day SMSTS course, tutored by Paul Nestor.
Paul brought a wealth of knowledge to the class, demonstrating an abundance both practical, managerial and commercial experience, all relating them to important relatable points throughout the course. Pauls great sense of humour made the 5 day course very tolerable. Would thoroughly recommend further/future training with Goldcross training.
