Store on Siegn Lane and store on…

Store on Siegn Lane and store on Coursey in Baton Rouge are horrible. They were quick to sell me a 3 year alignment plan but just about refuse to honor it. Tried twice in past month just to give excuses why they can't. Today, employee on Coursey waisted my time, sat for an hour. When I asked, was given piss poor excuse that the machine software errors kept it from working. Both stores are ran by same manager Shawn and they don't give a shit. I'm done and will NEVER give my business again, be sure to blast them on social media, Google and every chance I get.

Wish I could give them a zero

Wish I could give them a zero...my husband took his truck in to have the air conditioner serviced because it started to work intermittently, it would be on for a day and off for a couple of days, his driver side window was also off track, so he also asked for this to be repaired, they did a "diagnostic test on the AC and added freon, they also replaced the regulator on the window" or so they said, we picked he vehicle up and the very next day the AC stopped working and the driver side window was off track, we called Goodyear back and spoke with Micheal Dewitt at the Goodyear on Harbison Blvd in Columbia SC where we had taken the truck, he told us to bring it back, we did, he couldn't figure out why the problems persisted and asked us to bring it back when his colleague Micheal Gatewood would be able to troubleshoot the AC and window, we took it back and a day later get a call from William stating that the problem with the AC was electrical and it would have to be taken care of at the dealership, he also informed us that they replaced the regulator in the driver side window!...again?...I thought it was done the 1st time we brought the vehicle in for service! And get this...the window is till not working! He tells us that the window stripping is the problem and we would have to take it to the dealership, they also replaced some belts so, we paid $650 for labor and another $450 for parts and diagnostics and still do not have working AC or a working window...oh yeah, William stated, "well it was working when you picked it up"...I guess he didn't remember that the original complaint was that the AC was working intermittently when we brought it in...I have been a regular customer here for over 15 years but I am never going here again,

Ripped off with "Free Amazon Vouchers"

Bought tyres which had an offer of £30 Amazon vouchers. I chased several times only to be told I would receive them no later than 7 days after the promotion ends ( 2 months after I purchased the tyres.
Chased 7 days after the end of the promotion date only to be told they had sent, checked my junk and they were in there, the link had expired and was in Spanish anyway.
Let Goodyear know and they basically have said "tough"!!
It's not the monetary value, but the service has been disgraceful, and I really do believe they had every intention of ensuring as few customers as possible benefitted from their "promotion"

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. I’ve been trying to contact them for hours to purchase cooper tires. I pressed two for cooper and get some nasty rep from good year. They then transfer you to somewhere to hear beeps and doesn’t go into anywhere. They talk over you and as very nasty. I had the same experience with over 10 people I spoke to trying to buy tires. The last rep was so rude and spoke continuously over me that he didn’t let the call go for me to participate on the survey. He left me on a silent hold for over 20 minutes until I hung up. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service in my life; not even from Comcast. Cooper tire was such a good company with good service and made in the USA tires. Goodyear had to mess it buy purchasing it. Buying NITTO tires instead.

No Moral Standards.

Goodyear is a company that has always supported & endorsed drink drivers in the UK by giving them promotions & support , this is now continuing within their Truckforce operations with a regional manager who isn’t very “Suttle” turning up to work stinking of booze & encouraging tyre fitters to do the same , being a danger to other road users & pedestrians doesn’t matter to Goodyear !

Shambolic.

This company is shambolic & controlled by out of touch clueless management to get by in the UK you have to lose millions , continuously lie , destroy morale & cry a lot but most of all be well in with the string pullers at the top then they will find you another job paying ridiculous salaries.

Disgusting !

Goodyear in the UK are currently in the process of making most of their workforce redundant & replacing them with cheaper Eastern European workers, to make matters worse the current staff are having to train the people replacing them & have been told if they quit before their redundancy date they will lose all monies owed. Decent people who do a great job have had to stay even though the majority want out from this rotten company , some so-called senior management have been moved to other jobs even though they have destroyed the company & morale & haven’t a clue what they are doing.HR is controlled by a woman who should be in jail but not with Goodyear , disgusting behaviour is only rewarded !

Buyer Beware

Both me and my mom have this card for general car repairs and maintenance, and we like the no interest options. The biggest issue we have with this card is the only way to make payments is with a debit card or a checking account. So sometimes we forget the bill is due and by then we cannot make a payment unless we go into the red on our checking. This needs to change to allow us to make a payment any way we wish. The main goal for Goodyear is to get repaid, right? So why make it so hard to get payments made? And also, beware if you need to talk to a live person. No matter what you say in the prompts the automated system just takes you to the make a payment line. It took me 5 calls to get thru to someone today. Told my mom we need to find another card for car repairs because I am getting tired of both of those issues.

The worst tires I have EVER had

I paid £400 for new tyres from Costco and by 15,000 miles they were completely and utterly bald. They weren't even on my radar to check at that low mileage so goodness knows how long they'd actually been illegal for! Awful, awful product.

Split Goodyear tyres

Since June 2023 today I had to buy the third Goodyear low profile tyre. Mercedes blame the roads ie potholes. On every tyre there has been huge split running around the tyre.
We only drive locally as we are pensioners and at £250 a tyre it has drained our savings.
What can we do about this problem please?

WARNING About Goodyear Tire Rebate Promotions

"Goodyear Tire Promotions" rejected my rebate on 4 eligible Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S tires. I did an online chat at the Goodyear website with a Goodyear Employee to verify that I would qualify for the current Goodyear tire rebate promotion advertised on the Goodyear website PRIOR TO buying these tires and having them installed at our local Sam's Club on 10/31/2023. What I received was a Trick, not a Treat.

In that chat, I was told by this Goodyear Employee that those 4 tires I wanted to purchase at Sam's Club would qualify for the current Goodyear tire rebate offer promoted on the Goodyear website. I took a screenshot. Specifically, I was told I would qualify for a $150 rebate if I made the purchase with the Goodyear credit card or $75 if I paid by any other method.

This confirmation made me decide to buy these Goodyear tires. However, what Goodyear doesn't tell you is there is a "secret list of participating dealers" that Goodyear DOES NOT SHOW ANYONE on their website until AFTER you have purchased the correct tires and then apply online for your rebate at the Goodyear website.

When you start the rebate process on the Goodyear website, first you have to upload a copy of your purchase invoice, meaning you have already purchased and installed the specific model of Goodyear tires that are eligible for rebate (like I did). In step 2, it asks "Where did you buy your tires?" and you are shown a list of tire dealers according to the zip code you enter. If your Goodyear "authorized dealer" is not on that list, then your rebate is going to be DECLINED because your dealer isn't on this Mystery List of "participating dealers" that nobody is shown PRIOR TO buying and installing Goodyear tires.

Personally, I believe this is a "Bait-and-Switch" method of deceptive advertising that is illegal under the FTC Act of 1914 and by law in many states. In other words, I was lured into buying these rebate-eligible Goodyear tires by the promise of a post-purchase rebate advertisement on the Goodyear website. Then after the purchase and installation of the correct tires, my rebate claim was denied.

These are GOODYEAR TIRE REBATES. They are paid out in Goodyear Physical Visa Prepaid Cards or Goodyear Visa Virtual Cards. On the rebates page of the Goodyear website, it specifically states "Buy tires. Get rebates." It also lists the following 3 steps for collecting your Goodyear tire rebate.

1. Purchase rebate eligible tires.
2. Gather needed items to submit your rebate.
3. Redeem your rebate.

I completed these 3 steps and still had my rebate denied by some outfit going by the name of "Goodyear Tire Promotions", which is really a company called 360insights. After the initial rebate rejection, I replied to Goodyear Tire Promotions and included a screenshot of the chat I had with the Goodyear Employee showing the exact moment I was told my Sam's Club purchase of these eligible Goodyear tires would qualify for the current Goodyear rebate promotion.

In just 4 hours I received a second rejection stating, "Your rebate was declined as your dealer was not eligible for the rebate program." Again, this secret list of dealers is not disclosed on the Goodyear website prior to the purchase of rebate-eligible Goodyear tires.

So I caution everyone who is considering buying Goodyear tires that are advertised with a post-purchase rebate. I bought the right tires and had my rebate denied TWICE. I will be filing complaints directly with the FTC and the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs in our state.

Consumers should be protected from deceptive business practices like this and I will do my best to spread the word online to warn others about what Goodyear is doing here, specifically because Goodyear Tire Promotions sees nothing wrong with what they are doing and will continue doing it until they are forced to stop.

long time customer

I've been coming here(Goodyear Southwest Ranches FL) for a long time, since 2018 at least. The staff is great and there's not much turnover, which is good. We get to establish a rapport with each other and its just nice. Everyone here, Enrique, Rafael, Christian, is very respectful, patient and kind. I ask A LOT of questions because I want to be informed and get the best deal of course and these guys are really great and do whatever they can to help me out. They always do a great job on whatever service I'm having done which is typically tire service, and my vehicle is always ready when promised, and most recently it was ready earlier than expected!!
Goodyear offers great deals via email and stand by the offers. They even price match with goodyear online.
I definitely recommend coming here if you want a car service center you can count on where the staff stays the same, is honest and does a great job!

Never Again

I called Goodyear on 8/9/2023 to get pricing information and set an appointment that was set for the next day. I took car in on 8/10/2023 at 1:15 pm for an oil change. They know I'm waiting so I go sit in the waiting area. After 4 pm, I'm called to check out. I complain about the amount of time that I've had to sit here and I had an appointment. He acts as if he doesn't know anything about an appointment and they have my check-in time at a much later time so that it looks like I haven't been there as long as I actually had. To add insult to injury, the price is no where near the discussed price. The guy was basically like well I don't know who you talked to. Then I showed him that the quoted price was the same price online. He tells me that the extra fee was for oil beyond the 5 quarts, my engine takes 5.1 quarts. Are you telling me the an additional 0.1 quarts takes the advertised price of 64.99 + tax to 99.99 + tax? He never did actually explain to me why I was being overcharged. Plus they advertise free tire rotation with oil change services and I didn't get that either. The free tire rotation was one of the selling points that made me choose them over others. I left with my back hurting from sitting in that chair for so long, angry for being cheated and overcharged and down right pissed that after all that they didn't even rotate my darn tires.

FIRST TIME GOING TO GOODYEAR ON WEST COLONIAL DRIVE AND IT WILL BE MY LAST!!!!
