The help I received from Michael was amazing!
I was looking for hiking boots and Michael was very helpful and patient bringing different variety’s of boots for me to try and even had his own recommendations…. He also showed me some hints and tips about tying the boots up better and showed me how to correctly use the ramps in the showroom to check the movement of my feet in the boots.
Great experience! Michael’s knowledge was invaluable!

Michael was incredible
I went in for boots for work and Michael was fantastic. He helped me pick out some new laces and showed me how to lace my boots correctly.

Cora was great. I wanted a Rab coat & she was super patient as she needed to keep unlocking & re locking the coats. I took ages & she kept smiling! I wish I could have browsed without needing her assistance but I understand why there is a need for added security

Customer service nil
I went into the changing room to try on waterproof trousers. I obviously had to remove my shoes. Once done I realised that the carpet in the changing room was soaking wet.
When I complained to the group of 3 staff members who were standing round , they simply said that the building next door had a water problem and it was coming from there.
No apologies or concerns that I had wet feet and had to drive home like that. Edinburgh store Customer service NIL.

A big shout out to Nathan from GO Outdoors Granton for excellent customer service. I bought my granddaughter a bicycle from a charity shop which needed to have an inner tube replaced. The regular Bike Repair Person wasn’t in and I mentioned that my granddaughter was coming to visit. Nathan came to the rescue and offered to fit an inner tube for me. I feel he went above and beyond to help. Well done Nathan, I hope you receive some recognition for your great customer service from GO Outdoors 😊
