Disgusted that you're closing your…
Disgusted that you're closing your Newcastle under Lyme branch. I was happy to just go direct to your shop and purchase without going online or having the trouble of going to your Hanley shop, which is a pain to get to, whereas your N-u-L shop was a 10 minute walk away. You have now opened up yourself to the dreaded internet for competition to the N-u-L area as I know quite a few walkers who feel the same. Not a clever move. The staff there were brilliant and you have let them down badly.

My local store in Newcastle-Under-Lyme…
My local store in Newcastle-Under-Lyme is closing during the first week of April 2024, so get your bargains while you can, with at least 30% off everything ! - Today I was served by both Rachel the Manager, and Libby the Supervisor, who both gave me excellent service. Rachel helped me to buy my second rechargeable head torch, which was discounted by £32 ! - I also bought an insulated mug, sponsored by Mind, the mental health charity. The mug was also discounted by 30%. I saved a total of £35 today, due to the diligence and care of my 2 favourite members of staff.
I'd like to wish Rachel, Libby and all the other staff leaving here, all the best for their future.
(I think it's a shame that the landlord is forcing the closure of this wonderful store, by trying to increase the rent by an unreasonable amount. It would have made more financial sense to have negotiated a smaller increase, than to have an established shop on the high street be empty.)
