Maxine went above and beyond in her helpfulness. I shop there regularly and always deal with supportive staff. It's important to go into a store in order to actually see all the stock available. It's much better getting a personal experience than buying online.

I came in for walking boots but just found 1 random Berghaus boot lying about which I liked but couldn't find find them or price.Carol came along and went hunting for them and found them eventually (she said people just pick boots up and dump them anywhere)because I had had a hip replacement a few weeks ago bless her she even helped me put the boot on and off,my hubby then again found an odd boot which he liked again with no bother Carol found his pair so we finished up with 2 pairs of boots all credit to her and her help,she even pointed out there were bargains on the sale rail to which we went over and found a few items.At the checkout we were greeted by Sue who was very polite ,chatty both are a credit to your store

A very large shop with everything laid out compressively, making it easy to find what you want.
We were helped with our footwear selection by Amy who helped despite a very busy stock order, and at the tills were dealt with by Paul who gave us some good advice regarding boot care.
Definitely coming back for other outdoors gear.

My husband needed walking shoes and I needed a lightweight waterproof. We both found what we were looking for, and my husband got the only pair of his chosen boots in his size, thanks to the efforts of Maxine, who left her own section to assist him and went to some lengths to search them out for him. She also pointed out to me the sales rail and suggested I check it for a suitable jacket, which I did, although I stuck with my first choice in the end. We found the store easy to navigate and well laid-out, and all the staff we encountered friendly and helpful.

Delighted to find the exact battery I wanted. Many thanks to Sue and Max who are brilliant sales people. If ever a rise was merited it should go to these two!

Visited GO Outdoors in Scunthorpe for the first time to look for walking boots for my wife and me, and we had a great experience. The store had an excellent selection, with a fantastic price range too, which gave us plenty of options to choose from.

What really made the visit easy and enjoyable was the help from Carol and Kerry. Carol was extremely knowledgeable about the products and took the time to guide us through the different options, helping both of us find the right boots for our needs. Her advice made choosing the correct pair much simpler.

Kerry was also very friendly and helpful at the till, making the checkout process quick and pleasant.

Overall, it was a fantastic first visit with very knowledgeable and friendly staff who were more than happy to help. A big thank you to Carol and Kerry for making the experience so positive!

I visited the Go Outdoors store in Scunthorpe to try on a pair of Merrell walking shoes. I hadn’t really planned on buying them there and then as I was going to continue my research online.

Carol was really helpful and assisted me in trying on the ones I liked.

Because of that I ended up buying the shoes there, and with the price match I got them for the same price as online, which saved the hassle of ordering and worrying about returns if the fit wasn’t right.

Excellent service from Carol and a really easy experience.

The membership card requirement is still a bit of a pain, but aside from that I was very happy with the service.
